@@Zerocyxone9yup, this is a perfect case of having the Perfect ROLE player on a successful team. A lot of athletes don’t realize , once you leave certain playing pockets to become your own star, you don’t realize until the last minute that you’ll have to work 3x as hard to even look like the same person from previous. Sucks, but he’s the guy who let his ego speak and bamboozled these idiots who gave them the type of contract. I used to play aau and thought I’d get more shine switching to a team that wasn’t as good as the one I was on and BOOOOOY was I in for a rude awakening. Yes I was the actual better player on said team but I had to do SO much more compared what I was doing on the better all around team. My energy was spent in less time since I was taking on more and I fizzled out lol

I have actually seen this before, I'll give you an example Patrick McCaw, Patrick McCaw used to come Off the Bench for Stephen Curry. He did that for 2 years, then he went to the Toronto Raptors and was an expensive seat average 7 claps a game still got a ring because Kawhi Leonard. He has nothing to show for it afterwards, half of the problem was he was thinking that he could do better without Golden State. The problem players have, is the Stephen Curry effect! Stephen Curry pays attention to detail, so much that when he sees something of his teammates that could be fixed for better efficiency. He fixes it with them, he goes to the line and shows them how to do it. Stephen Curry has the ability to speak excellence into his teammates and that elevates their game. They have that confidence it has nothing to do with Draymond Green in the punch. However I would like to say that I don't think it was just Draymond Green, having an issue with Jordan Poole. I think it was actually the whole team but Draymond Green doesn't have the ability to hold back. In a way that would allow nonsense to continue, he's more of a tick Tick boom kind of guy. Jordan pool has amazing athletic ability but he is mentally not mature enough to handle pressure without a veteran leadership. Having four veterans including Andre Iguodala, allows the young player to be grounded. He went to the Wizards there's not many veterans there. something really unique that Klay Thompson said he said during he and Stephen Curry's Three-Point Contest in Japan he said that before the contest Jordan Poole had a lot to say so they all had a 3-point shootout Klay Thompson said it was good to Humble Jordan pool😂 they did not record it for the United States to see but there is a recording of the Three-Point Contest between Klay Thompson Jordan Poole and Stephen Curry Stephen Curry had 26 Klay Thompson had 25 and Jordan pool had 17

Dont even about Wiggins. I think Joe Lacob gave him a REALITY check for the last season and 1/2. I never bought the way he handled last season AT ALL. HE WAS MINNESOTA WIGGS= distracted, lacked passion, like he was visiting. Its only the last few games he has finally WOKEN UP. MAYBE SOMEONE FINALLY SCARED HIM INTO REALITY.

Jordan Poole mindset is that of an all-star caliber player- and by that I mean he plays each game like it's the actual NBA All-Star game. 😂

Tell 'em Knuckle! Most people will never understand Poole because they don't understand the mind of a champion and a super intelligent, self- confident, spiritually mature young man playing on a team with no structure, no order, and no winning strategies. People do not have the capacity to understand a young player like Poole with wisdom beyond his years who not only likes to win but knows how to win regular season and championship games!

@@marylallen1884 I'm sorry you might not have caught my sarcasm- in my view JPoole plays each game like it's the NBA All-Star game = no defense, no real hustle, try to show out for your brand and get yours, and who cares who wins. But I respect your passion and your point of view, and I'm sure JP is a truly nice guy (as he tries to make sure everyone knows) and is very talented, and he still has plenty of time to mature- but as someone who has watched and played basketball a lot of years there are things that trouble me about where the young man focuses his energies, and where he thinks it's ok to skip making an effort... *for his team*.

The wizards can't or wont do this so his fall is on prime time tv right now. Once he's humbled again he will be his "old" self

He benefited from a stacked lineup with Steph, Wiggs and Klay during his coming out party. He was a non threat and lanes were open for him. Now that he’s 1-2 option, defenses cover him like Steph and doesn’t have the talent to carve out space and lacks the consistency of an outside shot.

I don't expect him to be that JP2022 anymore, but I really do hope he at least picks himself up and be a decent role player. 15ppg on 45-40-85 should be a fine average comeback

I remember having a conversation with a guy at a bar in n San Francisco about the trade and I was talking about what a great decision it was due to his play and his bloated contract. The dude at the bar was convinced this was a huge mistake. My next question for him was, how many Warriors games have you actually watched? People see the highlights and think that tells the whole story. There is so much in a game that's not in the highlights that show so much more. Needless to say I had zero respect for his opinion on basketball after that statement.

I believe there's still a chance that he can recover from this. ONLY IF he has the capacity to humble himself and start again from the bottom and renew what he has gain from basketball. I mean he literally played for a championship caliber team right away and it made him think the game is easier because he had a strong team who was also willing to give him the ball by making plays for him and setting up screens to give him space. When he was drafted to the Wizards, it wasn't the same where his teammates will screen, willingly pass the ball to him or help him with the scoring if his shooting is bad. I believe that if he just change his outlook in life and have the capacity to be humble and start again he can still recover and that is solely up to him and no one else.
