Absolute unselfish play, encouraging teammates when they're down and excellent coaching from Melone all adds up to the good guys winning for a change. I wish my pops was alive to see it. When we won last year, I put my 15 year old ball cap on his grave. 0:41 There have actually been 50,512 regular-season games that have been played since 1980. There have been 1763 playoff games in the last 21 years, not including this postseason. Then the playoff games drop to some best-of-5 series, plus we begin to have fewer teams. Still. We have close to 55,000 games since 1980. What also cool is that there is an average of 84 playoff games in a postseason. The fewest games in a postseason in the current format has been 79 games, and the most has been 89. Funny thing is, in 2006, the year the Heat beat the Mavs in the Finals, there were 89 games that postseason. The very next year, 2007, there was only 79 games. There were 4 4-0 series, which includes the Finals, where the Spurs beat the Cavs 4-0, and 4 4-1 series, with only a single series going to a game 7, the Western Conf. First Round with the Jazz vs the Rockets.

Here's a way to handle picking players. Due to the fact that the NBA has a Draft Lottery, why don't they have a All Star Player lottery when picking players. Separate them by position. Get a machine that has Balls( lol) like they do for the Draft Lottery. Then you have the Captains select the Balls. Each player is assigned a number. When your number is called you go with your Captains team and so on. This eliminates picking last. Each team will have a set amount of C, PF, SF, SG & PG's. That part is done. Next have the players wear their team Specific uniforms fro the team they play for. This is crucial. The Winners take all. Losers get nothing. Good day sir. Last thing. For the first 3 quarters of the game, you are not allowed to take a 3pt shot unless your team is behind or tied. In the 4th quarter when the clock reaches 6 minutes, you can go for 3ptd all you like.

He probably didn't take it too personally, but he was poised to show Lebron he can play as good as anyone. The Gru thing is an absolutely classic touch, but i'm sure he's just Jokic being himself. He is a really hilarious type of personality, he isn't the type that holds grudges. But he knows he can play, and he wants to make his team to be with him along the way. It just so happens that he and his team know they can beat the Lakers, and that's that. Can't wait to see him continue playing, the guy is just fun to watch, both on and off the court.

Nikola Jokic is an absolute beast! This video perfectly highlights how dominant he has been against LeBron James since the 2023 All-Star draft. Being snubbed as the last pick must have fueled Jokic's fire, and LeBron has been paying the price ever since. Jokic's passing, rebounding, and scoring are all elite, and he seems to elevate his game even higher whenever he faces LeBron. It's clear that Jokic is the new king of the NBA, and LeBron's era is over.
