The one thing curry has that is so rare is selflessness combined with shooting. Poole doesn’t use his gravity off ball as much as curry does.

He has a gift once you got a gift from God embrace it and jordan poole is taking control but just remember he learned from klay and curry best for you

I still think that Poole's jawing even when the other party is already visibly upset is one of his weaknesses. I'm quite sure during that fateful verbal exchange with Dray that Poole said things to goad Green beyond endurance instead of being more respectful & humble by just holding his tongue. And if Poole is supposed to be as great as Curry his lack of drive to win games, his inconsistency in production, his erratic production, poor judgment in clutch moments & ability to lose the ball ever since he got that huge $140M contract is quite telling.

Being from Detroit, I've watched Poole play since his days with Michigan. Kid has always been full of confidence, embraced the big moments and had the skills to shine. The future of Golden State is in good hands with guys like him, Kuminga, PBJ etc. Not only are they blessed to have some of the greatest shooters to ever live as their mentors, vets like Draymond, Iguadala and Looney who never stop working hard BUT an elite organization and coaching staff. Not enough credit is given to the development coaches of the Warriors. Kerr and them do such a great job of finding guys willing to learn and building up their confidence to bring out their best. Golden State will be just fine even after Curry, Klay and Dray retire.

before even listening, no one can replace Steph Curry. He's a generational talent, transcendent player and has literally changed the way the game has been played. Poole has the luxury of playing with him and learning from him, but he is not HIM. He can be a great player, but there is not going to be another Wardell Stephen Curry.

There is no replacing Curry. He’s one of those once in a generation holy fuck players like Bron, MJ and Shaq. Poole can continue the legacy but there will never be another Steph.

Jordan pool will be more like Jrich, Arenas, Monta, who provided excitement, but not sure if he can lead the team. Kuminga/Poole with some other supporting players can together make some noise, but not sure about championships.

Poole has all the confidence but only a fraction of the skill. He's a below average shooter that somehow has been given a green light he really doesn't deserve yet. And I say that as a Warriors fan. He's a entertaining player to watch when he's on fire but he still has a lot of growing to do. He needs to simplify his game and cut out the 30ft bombs early in the shot clock because he very clearly isn't that sort of shooter. He should concentrate on using his speed to get to the rim and draw fouls which few players on the team seem capable of willing to do.

I'm hearing rumblings GSW trading Poole and Kuminga this off season trying to hit another homerun for another championship. getting crazy... gold/championship fever consuming GS.

At this point, they should just prepare for the next season. The Mavs, Suns and the Nuggets are going to fight it over. Warriors are in disarray and just hoping to get lucky in every game. At best, they can reach the first round and get eliminated in that. Let Curry heal thoroughly as this season is over for them. Being the defending champion needs a tougher mindset and they don't have it right now. Barkley and Perkins are going to be soooo happy.
