Did Jesus Christ Ascend to Heaven? (In 90 Seconds)

The Book of Acts tells the story of Jesus Christ ascending to heaven. But where did Jesus go after the Resurrection? This 90 second video explains the doctrine of the ascension of Christ.

I would really like to thank you for your previous videos on religious history. These videos were one of the primary sources I used and as a result of deeper knowledge on things like the Arminians and their split at the Senate of Dordrecht. As a direct result, I graduated top of my class of 50 people in history last year. This is one of the most criminally undersubscribed and underviewed channels on youtube, keep up the good work.

Heaven = the CEO office. Earth = the office/company Ascension = Jesus assuming his role as the CEO + taking over his new office

Does Lazarus not count as the first resurrected?

No. We are referring to the restored body. When Lazarus was raised, he lived for a while, but died eventually. In the end we shall be given new bodies that don't die, just like Jesus received a new resurrected body.

While Jesus did raise Lazarus from the dead, he did not then proceed to live forever. Although not recorded in the bible, tradition holds that he did one day die again on earth. The resurrection of Lazarus is not then the eternal one, the final one, that Paul refers to as the firstfruits (i.e. us resurrected) of the whole creation that will be renewed by God. Ultimately Lazarus' resurrection (who wasn't even the first to rise from the dead, see the OT), was a sign done by Jesus to point to the fact that He is the resurrection and the life. Jesus was the true first among THE resurrection.

Confusing: "The Ascention of Christ" but "The Assumption of Mary" aka "The Mother of God"? Mary could be Mother Earth who created the Christ (Celestial God/s into human type existance) for the sake of wisdom (alien technology)?

Well for starters 'ascension' and 'assumption' are two different words, hence two different things. And as for the other theories.....uh sure.
