I have been riding for more than 20 years and did the course as a refresher at the same Derbyshire location. My police rider graded me as “competent”, but I still learned a hell of a lot. Definitely a must do for bikers at any level and the cops were a great bunch who are also passionate bikers 😀😀

Thanks Noob! Wasn't sure if I should after the previous vid, but I thought why not with warts and all!! Now to try and address this backlog and get stuff out!! 😇😇 Can't wait to see yours, London does a lot more urban training while we get more rural training and hazard awareness with farm equipment, other bikes and animals. Good video Quinn. I think Mo summed it up extremely well. If you ride a motorbike, you really should try attending a BikeSafe workshop, they are excellent.

@@quinnpeaksbiker I think it's great that they have started running the workshops in Derbyshire again. My local force is Avon and Somerset, they used to run BikeSafe but have nothing currently in the diary, hence my freezing cold ride up the Gloucester, where I arrived, like you at the same time as the Instructor running the day ( I hate being late).

Here there are quite a few options. See the statistics in the previous vid, .8% of traffic are motorbikes but make up 30 if accidents in my county. The overall statistics are quite shocking so there has been a push for improving bike safety. I've done two and now joined a group to train to a higher level. Just try and mitigate risk and don't want to end up a statistic with people I've not seen in 20 years telling everyone how nice he was 🤣🤣🤣🤣 if you don't have them, might be a good project to start something there?? Take care and ride safe Bob☺️🖖🏼 P.s. just thought about it, but there is motojitsu in San Diego and ride like a pro Jerry palidino and a few more. They are all private and not public safety as here

Well worth doing, attended a couple of yrs ago, always good to learn and make you think, improves our riding and gets us home safe, cheers for sharing your day

Thank you El ER! Glad it was enough Info about the course. I think it's here as the statistics are so dire (see the previous vid) and the government are trying to improve the figures. 2% ownership national av of bikes but 20% of accidents, 5% in Derbyshire but 32% of accidents involving bikes. I think it's 7 bikers a week are involved in fatalities a week with 0.8% if traffic are motorbikes. Its one of the reasons I'm so gung ho about this. 🤣 50hp the ALP, he had 150hp 1250 RT monster, used to relaxing and enjoying myself and I never push on or rush. Can't compare the sheer comfort and elegance of the Deauville to anything! It's a unique experience! Get there when I get there😇😇 would have been nice to go out for an ice cream 🤣🤣🥳 glad you enjoyed it mate, wasn't sure if it would work! Take care and see you soon!! 🤣😁😁
