I like to pocket carry. Recently bought the DB 9 GEN 4 . 179.00 dollars. Finally got to the range today to test it out. MAN, IT RUNS" great... blazer 115 gr. 50 rounds out the pipe not one hiccup. love the sights very accurate. I Also shot a brand new taurus g3c. Shot them both 6 yards 10 yards than 15. scored better and better groups with the DB 9! I'm amazed that this little pistol shoots so well the sights were right on the money. I had no problem like that others state about the snappiness. hold her firmly! just like any other hand gun.

Great pocket gun . Really in my opinion the only true 9mm pocket gun out there . I was surprised with how well the gun shot for me . Snap was not bad at all . Old snub nose 38’s were a lot worse . Very happy with this gun and purchase

Price has nothing to do with this. This seems to be the smallest 9mm pistol you can buy in 2023. I wish more companies made super small low capacity guns like this. Sometimes I like going for late night walks or maybe im just going to church I can’t carry my hellcat because my shirt is tucked. Throwing this in a pocket holster is elite! Loved the review man.

Just bought my gen 4 DB9 to replace my DB380 that ran perfectly with no issues ever. The first time I racked the side to chamber a round on this DB9 It felt like metal on metal resistance.. like something was wrong, after doing that a few times it got better but still feels like some burs or machining issues. Taking it to the range soon and posting a video. Hope it runs well I loved the 380 version but wanted a little more horse power. I only carry this when exercising usually wearing light clothing it doesn't pull your waistband down.

The more u shoot this gun the smoother it gets and better it shoots and the smoother the trigger gets. I also highly recommend u purchase its bigger brother the Diamond Back AM2-9mm which is an awesome gun as well. Heres a video u can watch on it from a guy who gives a good honest review: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4ShmJaaecfeZqQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2asxNmgiZSspKg.html

So, for a pocket gun, if you only had two choices, between a DB9 Gen4, or a Ruger LCP Max, which one would you go with?

You need to get some of those gloves where the tip of the trigger finger folds back and lets you shoot uncovered... I was watching videos today and started to get the itch for another pocket J-frame but then I thought waitaminute, didn't you just buy another DB9 Gen4 a few months back? Flatter, cheaper to shoot, faster reloads, and an extra round to boot. Itch scratched and saved $500+/- in the process... :-)

I bought the very model you are shooting, the very year Diamondback put out the Gen 4. I HATE it. It has NEVER stopped the slide back upon empty (and I even did the Kel-Tech mag spring swap-out that's all over the internet). It absolutely hurts to shoot at the range, even with an after market Houge rubber grip---and trust me I know, because I've put 650 PAINFUL rounds through this thing. YES; a person NEEDS to train with the gun they plan to carry, that's why the 650 rounds. Only reason I never sent it in for the 'slide stop' issue is because it was so cheap, and I care less than Diamondack themselves who sent it out to stores. That being said: It does and will shoot EVERYTHING you put in it (as long as it's 9x19 rounds). I mean EVERYTHING! I shot brass, aluminum, and steel casings with full metal jacket, lead, hollow points, defense tips, etc... anything and everything ammo companies make---and this thing shot ALL of it without one single failure in 650 rounds (even powdery, oxidized steel casing bulk ammo that was like 25 years old). So the choice is yours if you wanna get one of these. I don't carry mine, because I have far better choices now; but I'm not getting rid of mine either, because if you can put gun powder and a primer in/on a Vienna Sausage, this little bastard will fire it.

Man my hand was sooore for 4 days after putting 50 rds tbrough it haha Then my front sight loosened up. No big deal. The accuracy on mine sucked. Had to get a bore laser and the rear sight needed to be pushed as far to the left as possible to line up.
