Hi, great job. I would like to know which product and air pressure regulation would be the most correct for the devilbiss copy. Mine is T110 mouthpiece. Thank you very much and greetings from Spain.

I brought 2 of these spray guns. And they are absolutely brilliant for the price.

Both are made in asia and one is for the asian market and a direct import. It is the same with the Fluke 17B+ multimeter. It is officialy from Fluke, but only for the asian market. The thing is, if you want to help your financial system, then buy it in your local store, if you want to get same quality for less money, then help the red dragon.

It's weird because at first I could tell the anodising was different but tbe fake guns finish looked slightly darker- the opposite initial reaction. But when grabbed both guns and tilted them, the light shifting, made the real gun look slightly darker..Actually a pretty impressive fake. I wonder If they got a flash drive with the cnc instructions of a near completion prototype gun or something? The differences on the exterior look like the fake gun is just a couple matching steps apart, yeah? A+ vid btw, you went into a lot of things the most people would miss thanks.

you did a great job comparing these two gun, and I see on your other video that even the spraying is comparable to one another I don't know how this is going to come out to other viewer's but I live on a very tight budget and I won't be using this often enough to spend the big dollar for the original I don't like the idea of buying a fake but I will probably buy the fake so that it doesn't effect the way I live being I live

Problem with a fake one is that you can't resell it second hand on the internet here in Europe or the US in case you want to get rid of it. You can't sell it as a genuine one and you also can't sell it as a fake one. People might call the cops or whatever if they see the ad and you can be in trouble. A genuine Devilbiss will keep very good value if you keep it in mint condition, so in the long term you won't lose much money.

Is this gun for water based paint only? Or can you use regular paint also?

Hi! In these days, the difference you did show us, don`t be whole true anymore.. Those fake guns, have anything the same than the real ones. the conclusion is pretty simple- genuine cost 190GBP, counterfeit cost 60GBP. Air cap and the fluid tip are the two atomizing the paint. If you are concerned about the atomizing quality, buy counterfeit gun and original fluid tip with the air cap and you are home- no brainer.

You would think that Devilbiss would come out with an official video documenting the differences of the fake guns to prevent profit loss instead of leaving their consumers to figure it out.

Probably yes probably not, what they done is just a picture with comparison, but chinese have done some good job by now and for the average person is very dificult to notice. They start copying the dv1 right now.

salut!am si eu o intrebare: daca nu am regulator din acela pe pistolul de vopsit, se poate sa reglez direct din compresor, sau va fi nevoie sa umbul si la surubul de pe pistolul de vopsit? la ce valoare trebuie reglat compresorul, atunci cand vopsesti, daca nu ai manometru si pt pistolul de vopsit? pe pistol scrie max 3 bar.daca reglez compresorul la 2 bari, e ok? reglajul de aer se face cu manerul de la pistol apasat pe jumatate, nu?

da se poate doar daca ai pana in max 5m furtun,iar in caz ca ai mai multi metri trebuie sa ai in vedere ca furtunul expanda la presiune si se strange cand eliberezi presiunea iar pe lungime mai mare ai putea pierde multa presiune si vei fi foarte confuz cum de s-a intamplat de exemplu setezi presiunea la compresor 2 bari iar la capatul furtunului va ajunge intre 1,5 -1,8 depinde cat metraj ai dar ai putea spune ca tu poti folosi furtun scump de vulcanuizare cu insertii care nu expanda,dar cu acela nu prea te misti asa usor ca si cu unul de vopsitorie care este usor maleabil in caz ca vrei sa fi safe sa nu iti explodeze furtunul(se poate intampla ,din cauza ca treci peste el cu masina) poti seta surubul la 8- 10 bari la compresor (aici el se va opri de fiecare data) si nu 12 (presiune maxima suportata de pistoale ,si toate sculele pneumatice) si sa faci reglajele din pistolul de vopsit la 2,0-2,2 bar nu este obligatoriu sa ai manometru dar ar fi bine sa il ai daca vrei sa iti spun restul informatiilor poti sa imi lasi un mesaj cu poza cu pistolul pe facebook pe pagina cu acelasi nume si iti voi putea da mai multe detalii multumesc !

DAMNIT, I think I just bought a fake. It has DeVilbiss on both sides, but some of the sharpness is there. The nut at the bottom is the same size as the handle. The one I got is black though.

Real guns sell for almost $500.00 fake guns sell from 60.00 to 125.00.

Can you disassemble the gun? I needed to know if mine has a defect or is it the same as every one else. Where you insert the needle, if you remove the hex screw there is a tube that is connected to the trigger and in front of that tube there is a brass piece that unscrews Mine had a little round plastic in front of that piece and it seemed to cause problems in the air fluctuations. If you are able to help I will try to send some images of the parts I am talking. Thank you

The T110 air-cap has two holes on either side of the fluid nozzle not three holes. Please look carefully, Have you sprayed high solids clear with the fake gun?

Well, the two holes in the air-cap on either side of the fluid nozzle of the genuine T110 air-cap have been proven to leave a flatter finish than the three holes of the TE-20, TE-10 and other 3 hole either side of the aircaps for the deVilbiss sprayguns. I have seen sprayguns with many more holes in the aircap either side of the fluid nozzle that to not atomize well. Appreciate all and any other feedback on this fake T110 aircap concerning finish with the high solids clearcoat.

@@SnsTuningGarage salut, am avut săruta vopseaua pe o bara am șlefuit cu apa pana am pierdut dunga de la vopsea, am șters cu degresant am aplicat Fuller am jmirgaluit cu apa dar sa spart stratul de Fuller am șters cu degresant și am vopsit, este din cauza ca să spart stratul de Fuller și am ajuns la plastic? Între timp am refăcut piesa am jmirgaluit, degresant, Fuller și la jmirgaluit am spat iar stratul de Fuller din cauza ca era pe nervura am degresat și am dat cu spray plastic primer, am vopsit și nu sa mai cacartit dar am întâmpinat problema ca nu a ieșit uniform pigmentul pe capota (este vorba de un argintiu) se vad dâre, am tot agitat pistolul în timpul vopsiri ca am văzut video cum se aplica dar degeaba, scuze de mesaj asa lung, pentru tine sunt problema banale, eu sunt la început și as vrea sa vad dacă reușesc sa fac ceva sa nu mai fiu sluga la patron alte piese, alte culori miau ieșit foarte bine, ca oglinda, la asta am probleme și cu curgerea lacului, aștept răspuns si mulțumesc mult ca miai răspuns

@@catalinsentea9072 de obicei când vopsești argintiu și aplici ultimul strat de vopsea diluează vopseaua 90-100 și ridică pistolul 30-40cm de la piesa astfel se va forma mai mult un gaz peste suprafață pentru a îndepărta norii sau dungile , acest termen se numește și egalizarea vopselei, pentru aplicarea lacului îți recomand să lucrezi doar cu un singur lac și un singur pistol pentru lac pentru a știi cum lucrează fiecare și apoi sunt sigur că vei scoate lucrări foarte Frumoase. Mult succes!

Na sua comparação ficou faltando mostrar a PULVERIZAÇÃO da fake e da original.... Por outro lado não reclamo de sair essas replicas, pelo ALTISSIMO VALOR de uma pistola para trabalho. Absurdo os impostos, principalmente aqui no Brasil....

People only care about the finishing quality and they dont bother to buy a stuff with thousand dollar price with the same finishing result. A spray gun doesnt need ultra tech to make. Its only about patent abuse which is wrong according to law.
