This is a cool series Teddy. You should do an annual version. I thought the new Conquest was going to take this one, but that Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is really a heck of a watch... well deserved win!

I agree. Extremely creative content. I would love to see more tournaments like this’❤❤❤❤
Hot take, the Longines Conquest is a much more versatile watch compared to the big crown pointer date. Not sure how this scored first, unless you already have a decent sized collection where you're willing to spend $2K on a more avant-garde watch. Out of all the watches from the competition, the Longines Conquest would be by far my winner for an everyday watch/one watch collection.

Sooo true Longines is King I put the Longines conquest on my comment just now about the best watches $2,000 and under I'd say it's better than the aquis movement wise but of course their fanboys are going to be on my ass if they see this comment lol

Honestly, you're gonna have a lot of bias votes once you get there. Atleast with the more affordable half of the watch world - people might have actually handled, worn and owned those watches. Whereas the tier you mention is largely aspirational, and will be clouded.
Loving the series Teddy, really like the audience engagement and finding it fascinating to see where these models stack up with the community. Looking forward to the next price point 👌
I have the 80th Anniversary Edition of the Oris with the bronze case and green dial and it's one of my top 2 watches. My favorite also happens to be an Oris. I also have the Glow. I have Longines, Tag, Oris, Hamilton (and a slew of Chinese watches) and Oris has quickly become my favorite watch maker.

I've got the same watch. Really looks class on the deer hide strap. It's the only watch I've ever gotten comments on in public, besides by PRX. My submariner, breitling aerospace, tag Carrera, Wenger, Luminox, orient, maratac, and zeppelin have never started a conversation.
I love this style and editing. Keep the series going. I’m definitely going to watch the under 1000 video now 👍🏼👍🏼
These are a fun style of videos, teddy! absolutely killing the content game recently
I absolutely love these tournaments! Pleasantly surprised Longines Conquest did so well.
Good comparison and excellent details, thanks Teddy. Appreciate your work as always!
❤ I agree with the Oris BCPD coming in at the top spot, it is such a great looking watch and nothing looks like it, my second choice would have went to NOMOS Club Campus ❤ Enjoyed this episode, thanks Teddy Bee 😊
LOVE this series. Would love to see more of these bracket-type videos. We get small history snippets for each watch, the community is involved, and it's cool to see how all of our votes are similar/differ.
These tournaments are so great for someone perhaps newer to watches and feeling overwhelmed by choice. Filtering down to just 16 options is more than enough for someone to find something that speaks to them while still being assured they’re receiving top quality for $. This is a brilliant concept :)
Phenomenal series Teddyy! Would love to see the continuation of this series
Christopher Ward is knocking it out of the park with innovative designs at remarkably affordable prices. Bravo CW.

Longines is my long time favorite brand and I have several in my collection. Oris is a brand I knew of but never considered. Just last month my wife and were perusing watches in a shop. Naturally the Longines were hogging our attention. But then we passed by a display featuring Oris watches...including a blue Big Crown. As we were admiring the watch, my wife was so enthralled she told me to get it for myself. So we both enthusiastically agree with the outcome of your contest.
would love to see more of these!!! plus I think it would be interesting to see an "all-star" tournament where you put the winners from each proce range against each other in a bracket.
The Longines Conquest should’ve won. But I’m not mad at this. You should DEFINITELY keep this going at a higher price range 🍻 I love it.

Totally agree. Difficult to choose in terms of design when the watches are so different to each other and it's all subjective (I wouldn't have voted for the Oris for example as I prefer indices to digits), but when you look at the CW C63 Sealander it's VERY similar to the Longines Conquest, £200 cheaper than the Twelve and over £1000 cheaper than the Longines. A no-brainer in my opinion.
That particular Oris model has been in production for so many years I think it's fair to say it's an icon in it's price category.
Definitely continue! Love these just like the MKBHD camera competition
Let's do a 2000-3000 round! This one was 👍
Keep the watch tournaments coming. They’re entertaining and informative.
Love this idea Teddy and was super fun seeing the breakdowns and explanations! Thanks for taking the time to put it all together! Hope to make it on there someday and would love to get together sometime soon to get you hands on with one of our watches! Hope all is well on your end! Cheers, Ben
I couldn't agree with the result here more! This Oris Big Crown Pointer Date, same dial, different strap is my co-daily watch along with a 38mm Hamilton Murph. Gets the job done, looks great in suits and jeans. Amazing content, keep up the great work!
Most favorite series in a while. Content and pacing was perfect.
Love this series. Cool to know what's really favoured by the market amidst how each watches and brands are marketed.
Great tournament held there Teddy! Keep this kind of content going!!
Great type of videos! Love these tournaments and would love to have a look at higher price points even if out of my league!
All of these watches are so solid, it's cool to see them go head to head like this. If I was going to buy any of them, I'd probably get a nomos, It's a brand that I've been meaning to get into. Probably the biggest thing against nomos for me is the lack of bracelets.
Just gotta say that I love these watch tournament videos! Great work Teddy!
Love this Series! Keep on going with the next (2000-3000 and so on). Many thanks!
Definitely continue the series, really enjoyed this 😊👍🏻
Love this series. I think the next tourney should be $2K to $3.5k since a lot of watches tend to push over the $3k mark significantly.
Just the review we've all been waiting for! Another cracking video Teddy.
Loved the video!!! Discovered new watches, that Nomos club wow. Yes we want the video between 2k-3k! Thanks for the content Teddy!
I just received the same 2023 Longines 2023 in Green as pictured and it is gorgeous - punching well above is price weight and as so comments have said is far more versatile than the Oris. That follows my mantra that "its better to be overdressed than to be underdessed". I mean, come on, just look at how Teddy carries it😊

the oris big crown pointer date was my first mechanical watch, it's such a classy choice. I now have fancier stuff but I still enjoy wearing it, the coin edge is very unique.
Loved the Tournament. I'm in the market for a few watches so this will help. I chose the Longine Green Dial from the start. But I also like the Oris because of the strap. 😉
You can't go wrong with either of the watches in the final. They're both on my list for my next watch. The Longines is probably a better watch for everyday, but the Oris is simple yet stunning. Great job Teddy.
Please, keep it going. This is a great way to learn new models in upper ranges that we can hopefully afford soon :)
Thx Teddy , always great stuff ❤., love the tournament.
Love if you made more of these, I would like a little more info between the brands are matched up, maybe pros and cons. While this is happening, the audience has time to think which one they like more.
I love how this was put together. Like March Madness for watches!
Love your price range comparison videos! Will be even more interested as you move up in price range.
Well done. That is a good sweet 16. I love this format. Maybe go into these watches a bit more for each one. I dont mind a 30m video. 😅 Glad to see Nomos representing. Surprised by number of Nomos, but not surprised they got cut early. More polarizing designs. Club making it further makes sense, it's the most "normal" in their lineup.

Scrolled for a comment on Nomos. I just don't see why people like them so much and they're featured so often. In my opinion, they're basic, boring and look cheap. The club is OK, but nothing to write home about. Idk, just not my style I guess.
the king seiko is by far my favorite. glad to see some picking it as a top 10! thank you for the great entertainment teddy and the team
Such an informative video, Teddy. Love the series...should definitely continue along the lines of $2k-3k, 3-4k, etc. Not everyone can, nor wants, to make the jump from 2-5k, or 5-10k, which is typically found in reviews.

Ohhhhh... almost had a dream match-up for the final. My two favorite on this list were the Big Crown and the 1926 Opaline. Excellent & fun format.
Well, that was surprising! Well done to CW for making it with that new 12 sider, a great value piece 🤑
This is fantastic watch content. Thank you Teddy for these awesome tournament videos
Great series. Currently have the Oris Big Crown 80th Anniversary Edition on my wrist.
I couldn't agree more about ORIS winning !!! We are talking about a unique complication that has been around for many decades and ages like a fine wine. And the Longines Conquest ... this new design is clearly a true masterpiece from a design point of view. But only released less than a year ago ... let's see how it evolves over time !! Great idea to involve the public. Maybe seeing the best watches by category (dress, everyday, sport) would also be interesting to see .. Always a pleasure to watch your content, thank you for this !!!
Teddy it would be amazing if you made a playlist for your tournament series for easy reference in the future. You are killing it.
I really like the longines for an every day watch but the Oris is definitely one of my favorites. Just not something for me personally but I would love to have it.
love this series! would like future tournaments with higher price ranges as well like 10-12k or 12-15k for an anniversary gift.
Conquest looks great and got my vote, I love that vintage green dial with the smooth bezel. King Seiko as a close second.
Of course we’d love to have another! Great way for us to see what we might like too.
This was great fun! Go ahead and do another price point! Love my new Marathon purchase!
Please keep this comp going its a great way to see what kind of watch u can buy for this money and also somewhat educational for us meagre watch enthusiasts. ⌚

Out of all the watches I've ever worn, the only one to consistently get complements from non-watch people was the Junghans Max Bill (38 automatic acrylic crystal). I ended up selling it though because i don't wear watches for others and it didn't fit with my collection.

That #1 Oris is delectable. Nice, Teddy, keep up the good work. Thanks!
This is fun! Hope to continue this series.
Great video Teddy! That was really fun to watch.
Fun video Teddy. Love the idea. I love the idea of a pointer date, but the Oris is more of a fancy watch. Nothing wrong with that, but the Conquest is versatile watch. Either way, both awesome. Keep them coming Teddy!
Fascinting result. I didn't vote in this tournament but I do have three watches from this round of 16: Junghans Max Bill (38mm auto PVD black and 34mm manual baby blue dial), Nomos Club Campus (orange dial) and, of course, an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date (in steel with the off-white pattern dial). All great watches and Longines are certainly on my radar as well as Christopher Ward's C7 Rapide line. This price point if full of extaordinary watches with highly reliable and affordable ETA- and Sellita-based movements (or derivates inspired from, there of). A aplaude the good judgement of those who voted, I find little to dispute in any of the choices come to.
Love it. More brackets please!!
Great concept Teddy! Pls let us have more tournaments with higher priced categories!
Love these comparisons!
Thank you Teddy . Much respect 🤝
Brilliant content Loved seeing such beautiful watches and giving us some goals for our next watches Appreciated
Great Video Teddy! More of this!
So proud that my Conquest did so well!! Bought it early on and love seeing it becoming more popular!
Love the tournament! The watches featured are highly semi luxurious but affordable….Bring on the next price point
I'd have voted the opposite way for nearly every head-to-head matchup, but I still really enjoyed the format. Great video.
I LOVE THIS FORMAT ❤❤❤ THANKS A LOT
Cool Series Teddy, all of them are very good choices, i am kinda suprised that the new Nomos Club Sport Neomatic is not involved here, maybe because it was just released. But all of the Top 1 0 watches are well deserved there!

Even though all of these watches are above my budget, I really enjoyed this tournament! Keep them coming! Great work!

Oris bested Longines on a more iconic design. But man. The Longines is way ahead on the finishing : that movement is a grade above and thoses applied markers : so nice. To me this + the more known and prestigious brand make it the best proposition.

I've got a BB41 Heritage silver dial (the fixed/plain bezel design). I really want to like the 1926, but it wears huge, that tiny date window is jarring, and it's has odd styling cues. If one came up used cheap enough I probably would get one just to see how what its like long term away from the shiny store lights... but there's almost none on secondary market. Tudor must be selling them to someone, somewhere.. Mind you, when you put a 1926 next to the dogs dinner that is the Royal, it suddenly looks a lot better, Edit - just noticed it's available in 39mm... thought it was 36 and 41 only??
Absolutely continue this. Thanks 🙏

Excellent video. Yes please do more
Hell yeah, I have one and only one watch, and it’s the burgundy pointer date. It’s beautiful, I love it
Teddy, another excellent video, and am particularly impressed with the quality of the photography. You can see very detail of a watch, and when viewed on a large screen, you can really see all the nuances of the watch, and the fine detail on the watch face. Aside from watches, I also love my clothes, and I was hoping if you don’t mind, if you could say what make of jacket you were wearing in this video. It is very unusual and almost like a one off piece. Thanks again for the quality content.
This is cool, I already own the Oris BCPD x Cervo Volante which is a truly great watch. And I'm in the market now for the green Longines due the total package you get, it ticks all the boxes for me. Nice to see them in the top 2. Best of both!
