Hey guys, I hope you´re all staying safe and healthy! Here is a workflow on 2 cylinders and how I would approach the topology. I did not explain every tool, this was more of a method presentation. If you´re interested in the tools, there is a video series here on my channel, and website, covering the basics. On the other hand, if you are interested in more in-depth training, then check out my course on Mastering 3D Modeling. I will leave the link in the description. There is a ton of stuff inside, I keep adding new content regularly, and we have an active community to help you along the way if you need it! Stay safe, guys! Until next time, Mario

to have an 90 degree angle cut you just have to select the first point, then hold shift+ctrl under the commande . in that case a green little half square would show at both corners of ur starting point and ending point. if only one is shown means the 2 edges connected aren't parallel

An excellent take on mangaing topology. Been modelling for nearly a decade now, and you've given me some interesting thoughts on support loops!

You should check out his master class series on his site. He’s got way more videos on there and even uploads newer ones occasionally. It’s a one time payment as well, unlike most other classes that require you to sign up for newer sessions

Thank oyu for your videos) I'm currently studying topology intensively How often do you have to model by eye? This is fine? I try to always create 3d models from quads, how critical are the triangles? In what cases can they be used? Some 3D models have a very complex topology and when trying to reduce it, complex and intricate loops appear that go through the entire mesh - is this a mess?

Why l can't use zbrash + Boolean + retop(decimated)? Clean modeling it's so important? *Sorry about that, because I noob in modeling.

Are you using Redshift now? What is your impression of this renderer? Another thing, when you need to align a line using the scale tool, press "J" and drag a little bit in the desired direction. In addition, thanks for your tips, it always helps us a lot. Hug!
