Delta Airlines 172 Tokyo Narita to New York John F Kennedy *Full Flight*

Onboard Delta Airlines flight 172 from Tokyo Narita to New York John F Kennedy Airport, operated by a Boeing 747-400, N664US on July the 9th 2014. Delta Airline's new retrofitted 747 cabins are beyond expectation with large touch screens in every seat, USB charging ports, Wi-Fi that can be bought at a certain price and run Facebook for free without purchase, as well as 110v plugs on seats in specified rows. This flight has changed my view on Delta and I now think they are a very high end airline and I will definitely recommend them to anyone else who have the option to fly with them! Flying time was 12:30 and the video includes the full departure, clips from inflight and the full arrival. Hope you all enjoy this video!

    Nice video. As a retired Delta captain I'm glad you recognize the efforts of all Delta employees. I respectfully take exception to your classification of the turbulence as severe. Trust me, I've encountered severe turbulence only a handful of times in 30+ years in the cockpit. Believe me, if you get into it, you'll really know it. Cheers

    It still amazes me every time I watch. 630 mph and it's nothing for that air frame to handle. The forces at work on the wings alone is a little scary when you think about it. I know they are built to take way more force than they will ever see, but still crazy though. 630 mph, that's hauling ass period.

    I think I've been on this flight but in June 30th, It wasn't very nice but the service was great. The turbulence we got into wasn't very big but once we got on Phillipine Airlines, The turbulence was much more massive and we had early turbulence and nearing the end. I traveled from NYC JFK International to the Phillipines,Iloilo International cause my grandmother died.

    I think this flight is top class quality! If it wasn't good you possibly could have been on United cause they're quality is so poor :P Turbulence across the Pacific tends to be quite large due to the type of air masses that exist over there but this particular flight I was on was actually very smooth apart from the typhoon departure. Thanks for watching!

    That was really an interesting and enjoyable video, thank you. Kinda freaky about all that vibrating, though. I wonder if the pilot was potentially putting you all into a stall, going at such a steep angle of descent, causing the vibration. I don't know anything about flying, so I'm just guessing.

  • @HDTokyoAviation

    @HDTokyoAviation

    +coashddjj2 Thank you very much for watching, I am glad you enjoyed it! The vibration is nothing to be freaked out about, it's simply the speedbrakes absorbing all of the aircraft's kinetic energy as well as the effects of disturbed airflow. Definitely no stalls involved, I bet we were well faster than our stall speed!

    The return flight video is comming soon to. Delta is a 3 star airline and not 5 like ANA and 4 like JAL. For me Delta is a choice to fly the 747 registered in US. Will you have a videos off the NRT-MNL flights? I think you uploaded this video in New York after landing.

    Félix Maltchinski Return will be on the 25th of July. Delta is actually a 4 star airline now, and I think that they've well deserved it with their new upgrades to their fleet and service. As for the Manila flights, unfortunately I was unable to make any videos of it due to being placed into aisle seats and other reasons, so whats left of Delta is the flight back to Tokyo and Ill make videos for my trip to London with KLM

    JESUS IN THE HOLY QUR'AN JESUS NEVER CLAIMED THAT HE IS GOD. JESUS is a real historical prophet (pbuh). Denying his personality is denying the truth. We Muslim believe in Jesus (pbuh) as a prophet of Almighty Allah sent before last prophet MOHAMMAD (PBUH). Prophet Jesus is described in the Holy Qur'an in detail. Qur'an described his birth as follows: And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking East, And had choosen seclusion from them.Then We sent unto her Our Sprit and it assumed for her the the likenessof a perfect man. She said : Lo! I seek refuge in the Beneficent One from there, if thou art Godfearing. He said: I am only a messenger of they Lord, that I may bestow on the a faultless son. She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I have been unchaste? He said: So (it will be). They Lord sait: It is easy for me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. And she conceived him , and she withdrew with him to a far place. And then pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of a palm tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten. The (one) cried unto her from below her, saying : Grieve not! They Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath there. And shake the trunk of the palm tree toward thee; thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee. So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal. Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Marry! Thou hast come with an amazing thing . Oh sister of Aaron! They father was not a wicked man nor they mother a harlot. Then she pointed to him. They said: How we talk tl one who is in the cradle, a young boy ? He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet. And hath made me blessed where soever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive. The Holy QUR'AN was revealed in order to " distinguish the truth from the falsehood and to guide the humanity to truth. (Qur'an,25:1) THIS is why it has been called the Furqan. And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest. Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive. Cheers
