Delta Air Lines Boeing 747-400 N662US Cabin Tour in Tokyo-Narita
A quick cabin tour of the Boeing 747-400 at Delta Air Lines; Ship 6302 just got the new cabin with all new BusinessElite seats and Economy seats with AVOD in every seat!
Flying from Tokyo-Narita to Taipei on N662US
Update: Sadly, ship 6302 has since been retired to the desert in Marana, AZ. The 747 will be deeply missed by many around the world; be sure to visit 6302s sister ship 6301 in Atlanta at the Delta museum! Enjoy this video from 2012 of the Boeing 747-400 full of life getting ready for boarding and departure from Tokyo-Narita!

For whatever reason I felt like I needed to watch a cabin walkaround of a 747-400, and this was the very first vid I stumbled upon. Nice and quick just like the description, I saw what I needed to see, and you covered the whole cabin. Nice upload!
They don't let passengers on board before boarding, my dad was the captain so I boarded with the flight crew.

WOW, VIRTUALLY A FLYING BUILDING! IT IS REMARKABLE HOW THIS THING CAN EVEN LIFT UP OFF THE GROUND! AND THIS IS MANS CREATION, IMAGINE WHAT GOD CAN DO!!!👍👏👏👏
I don't know if it's ever been done before, but it would be neat if an airline did an around the world "air tour" for us aviation enthusiasts. Like a cruise ship, but in the sky. Completely circumnavigate the globe, departing in New York, and have 24 hour stops in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney, Dubai, Cairo, London, Rio de Janeiro, and back to New York. You could visit every continent (except Antarctica) in less than 2 weeks. I'm sure the price would be steep, but it would be a trip you'd never forget. I guess you could just schedule the flights & hotels and do it on your own, but it would be cool to travel with the same crew, plane, fellow tourists, etc. on each leg of the tour.

You know what bud, despite the cost as you said, that is a great idea. I'd rather do that than a cruise, to be honest with you.

I think they did that with concorde

Pan Am did that in the late 70s.
It's 5 am and I had the urge to see what a Boeing 747 looks like in the inside
I just watched a tour video on the Concorde and it is so cramped on that plane, I would not feel comfortable flying on that plane and yes I know it's in a museum now. This plane is massive inside compared to that one, now I wouldn't mind sitting in the upper deck in one of those first class seats because that looks pretty cool. I've always liked the 747 because of Air Force 1, it's probably one of the biggest and most reliable planes on the planet.
I've flown NRT-ATL-NRT twice a year since 2012 until 2016 on the Delta 744 (and quite a few times on 662US). It's an absolutely beautiful aircraft; such a shame it was retired.
This is an amazing video. You really got a great view of just about every part of that aircraft. I LOVE the business elite seats. Beautiful aircraft, great walkthrough video of everything, including the cockpit!

hi
NOW THAT'S THE WAY TO FLY...that is if you can afford business class or first class! Tourist class on Boeing 747s is real decent when the plane flies half full - like they often did back in the 70s on the NYC to Frankfort, Germany runs. At night everyone who didn't want to sleep immigrated to the forward cabins and the ones at the rear of the plane where turned into bunk rooms by pulling the arm rests up. I was in the U.S. Army on my first tour of Germany - and one thing you learn real fast in the Army is not to pass up any opportunity for sleep, so we arrived in Frankfurt-On-The-Main all rested and ready for our German adventure! Of course, those of us on orders for the Berlin Brigade got put on the U.S. Army "Duty Train" to the then divided city. The trip from Frankfurt to Berlin took longer than the flight across the Atlantic, but we again lucked out because it was first class and we got bunks. We got to Potsdam - just outside of Berlin - in the early morning hours and saw Russian soldiers with AK-47s looking at us thru the windows, but when we looked back in alarm, they smiled and flashed us the WW II victory sign (which became the peace sign in 1960s)...You see in 1974, Berlin was an occupied city (American, Russian, French and British) and ourselves and the Russians technically still allies.
There is no glamour left in planes anymore, just cold heartless interiors that don't make you feel comforted when you face hours of travel. In the 50's/60's/70's, it was more inviting, and people actually engaged with one another. instead of closing themselves of with earphones and gadgets, and being crammed in like sardines.
Sooo many people, flown by 2 men. So incredible, yet scary.

Conrad Guntzenbach I think they have 4 pilots so two can rest at a time
Awesome 👌🏻 Sometimes it amazes me that such a giant structure can fly at 30-40 thousand feet. 😄
Nice vid, just what i was looking for
That is....AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for uploading!!
Short and sweet! Perfect informative video!
Awesome aircraft, thank you for the tour :D
brings back memories
beautiful new 747, Thanks for the tour, use to Supervise for Delta
That's very cool I can't wait to board.
This aircraft cabin is so classy!
Awesome! My dad is a travel agent who works with Delta a LOT. He flies on DL at least once or twice a month...I LOVEEEEE Delta especially the 474-400s! I sat next to a pilot on my way form DTW-JFK this summer....he flew the MD88s....I love this video! Great work and keep it up!
Thanks for taking the time to show us around…...
Thanks! We were in Tokyo/Narita preparing for a flight to Taipei! Im in Taipei right now, were heading back up to Narita this morning!
Cool vid!!!!! Like seeing the crew prepare and and the cockpit. :-)
amazing!!! TYVM!!! I've never been in one and always wanted to be...this is the closest i will ever get!!!
Cool thanks for the upload! I guess i'm not the only one that is into commerical airlines.
Beautiful
That is one Beautiful plane!!!
Great Job to Delta!
awesome dude! this is reallly sweet!
Fabulous!
I flew in this plane from New York this past summer in July and in August. I was going to Korea. The plane is REALLY nice. I love how all the seats have the monitors. It made the 13 hour flight pass fast. lol
Omg so cool!! Thank you for sharing :) damn, I want to fly in a business seat on this plane, upper deck. Looks niiiiiice
Very impressed by Delta's new 747 cabin! Nice clean lines, leather seats, really cool IFE (even in Economy)! A Trans-Atlantic/Pacific flight on this aircraft must be nice and comfortable. Thanks for sharing =)
that one flight attendant lol "uh hes taking photos"
thats such a modern cabin for a old plane but still good
well done, I love it.
Interesting video; 747 is always nice to see... Congrats from Italy.
Great job! That's a great looking business/ first class!
Really cool video! But it seems like no one knew you were coming...everyone looked surprised to see you!
Amazing!
Crazy that part of this plane is now my credit card!
Awesome!!
Awesome video man..use to fly these every summer to MNL from LAX...now its only NRT to MNL
Delta did a great job with this interior. Looks beautiful! Great video too! I travel a lot from Seattle to Tokyo...It would be great if they can put these upgraded 747s on that route.
hey love the video im a huge delta fan and ive seen that you are a skyteams fan as well! awesome videos bro
Looks amazing! Just rode on my first 747 on N665US in seat 13A and it was amazing! Probably the best flight experience ever, all thanks to such a great crew, tasty meal choices, beyond phenomenal aircraft, and lie flat bed seats! I am REALLY upset to see that it is retiring in 2017 and on top of that getting replaced by the A350. It was also nice to ride on some old NW metal that y was not able to ride back in the day. Great walkthrough by the way...

While I agree with your sentiment for the 744... My rear end doesn't agree with 17" wide economy seats or 31“ of legroom... The A350 will be a vastly superior aircraft in terms of technology and comfort!
Thanks. Going on my first 747 trip next month
You're so lucky ! This is such a beautiful aircraft, and great airline.

Have you ever seen the interior of an a380
Thanks for the look, on the JFK to NRT leg soon
Very nice
Haha, I was in one of these. Fantastic jet.
Iconic aircraft. Shame to see them obsolete now
Dude slow down. I wanna see how are the seats
Beautiful
This is such a nice hotel.
That's awesome, I wish I could go on a Boeing 747-8
Great !
I'll be flying MNL-NRT-JFK next month and thought I'd try Economy Comfort. I somehow got a glimpse of my seat. Thanks!
Epic
Huge!
Cool! My uncle is with american, I got a look at the new 777
Nice
Very cool! Would have loved to fly on one of these. Too bad Delta retired them in 2017.. hoping to fly on a Lufthansa 747-8 some day.
Cool
thanks I just booked my flight I saw my seat row 63 in back
awesome
Yeah, That would be nice to get the 747-8s! I think we'll see some wide body replacement orders in the next decade, hopefully 747-8 is on that list but im not so sure. A350 would be nice as well!
good video
Superb plane feel like to fly in this
Fantastic tour of this nice 747. Hope you had a good flight. What kind of camera did you use? Looks good!
I like this plane. The flight attendent, walked on first, second and third class.
delta have nice 747s
nice..
That is so lucky
It's still the most beautiful passenger aircraft ever made.
The older first class seats use to look so much better and more comfortable than this crammed tight version of Delta's Business One seat. You had to have flown, and experienced them to know what I mean.
I would make it a point in my trip to meet every person on the flight cause you would meet hundreds of new people in a matter of hours
Amazing, do a 777
I've never been on these Delta Boeing 747-400s before.
BIG plane
I wish this Delta 747 came back from Retirement...
I'm going on the Delta airline to Miami and tickets are so exspensive
very nice inside. will you have a flight from manila going to lax with this new cabin?
I am going to Italy next month. This will be the plane I will be going on. I can't wait. I really hope it does not crash. I still have not slept with a spanish girl yet.

Where are the first class seats?
I hear delta is gonna have a new 757-200(75S) coming soon. the cabin looks very nice, though I've never been on a 747. the long haul economy comfort seats look spacious with the 36" pitch. i know the website says 35" but since the Business elite equipped planes have up to 32-33" of legroom in coach, the economy comfort seats technically have up to 36-37" of legroom on those planes. hope I'm not being too nitpicky.

retroflashbackdude I flew on the 75S 2 weeks ago. I was impressed! Brand-new IFE touchscreens, mood lighting, lie-flat seats in business elite. It's the best 757 around, in my opinion.
Is it the Seattle Osaka (KIX) route? Yeah I usually take that at least twice a year and it's frustrating that they still haven't upgraded anything. There were a few times though where I returned to Seattle on an Airbus and it was a lot nicer than the older models they currently use. It was nice to actually have a personal TV for a change
white winglets on the delta 767 next to your plane?
Are those first class seats those famous "Delta One" seats? The ones that supposedly fold out into a flat bed?
Long live the 747!!! It's sad that most American airways retired them
Do the arm rests in economy go up? I have to fly with a friend and she can't do first like I normally do, so I wanna buy multiple seats in economy for me.
good
Words cannot describe how long it took Delta, even Northwest to upgrade the 747-400 cabin! Nevertheless its done and has some decency in it ;)
Ya quiero volar en avión.
Take me to Rome Italy please!!
i know Delta has 16 of these, are they all renewed or do they still have some to work on? and, do you know what destinations these planes fly to?
So exit row Economy seats AVODs pull up right?
