I hope that Mr Trump gives as much detail on how this B-757 is maintained by professional Technicians and when the time comes for heavy maintenance he does not outsource the work to China or other parts of the world except countries like Japan where high quality work is a must

@@afrini I must correct myself. He does still own it but it is not airworthy anymore. It is just sitting at Newburgh-Stewart International Airport. It has been out of operation too long and must therefore be overhauled in Louisiana before it can be returned to service. The problem is that It has been stripped of one engine and can therefore not be flown to Lake Charles. The Trump Corp is currently in financial dire straits - who knows when it will be back in service

A trusted steed with a mind for performance. Aerodynamics at, for larger aircraft, low drag values. The Lockheed Tri Star was equipped with Rolls Royce turbo fan engines in triple arrangement. It was hampered to market by troubles with the engine supply chain and somewhat lost out in sales to the readily available Douglas D C - 10 . The Tri Star L 10 11 would have made Mr. Trump a wonderful opportunity as well. Though more vintage it’s all about state of maintenance. A lovely aircraft with low decibel levels and very advanced design.
"I was really happy to get the one with RR engines" is as calm as saying "I was really happy to get the Kinder Joy with the car toy." How easy is he in ordering the plane lmao

@@jackwalker9492 my fella, the gist is this: the 757 200 had 2 choices for engines, Rolls Royce and Pratt and Whitney. so getting Rolls is pretty much a 50/50. so to hear him say almost as if its rare is funny and to point out, the pratt and whitneys perform nearly the same to meet the Aircrafts requirements. and, this isnt towards you but he didnt order the jet, he bought it used so it was kind of out of his hands anyway why be so cranky man? XD

@ 7:30 When the pilot says "V1 Rotate" it means that the Velocity to stop the plane is no longer an option and is committed to take off. Also, if you ever wondered why the A/C abruptly gets 'cut off' around takeoff period, it's most likely directed by the pilot to give more power to the engine for takeoff.

Depending on the length of the runway V1 and Rotate could be at the same time, but they're often not. If you had a runway ten miles long you'd reach rotate miles before V1. On a short runway you reach V1 before you rotate. There will always be a length, depending on plane, load, altitude etc, where they happen at the same time.

@@karlbassett8485 that’s not quite correct. V1 isn’t just about being able to stop within the remaining runway, V1 can also be limited by brake energy (brakes would fail if you tried to stop) and also tyre speed - so these put a limit on V1 even if runway length doesn’t.

This was originally one of Paul Allen's jets. He customized it new, used it to fly the Blazers around, sold it and it was used for various rock bands until the Don bought it.
