@@Ben-xe8ps Yes, but they mainly do regular scheduled flights. You can have a look at the review by Simply Aviation to see what the service is like.
I would honestly love to fly this
We get these into Manchester a lot, cute things
A couple regionals in the US used to fly them.
You forgot to mention the mothership, A380 !!!

I have no idea how he could list large BA planes at Heathrow, include the A320 but not the A380 😂
Flown it to Rotterdam out of London City, but during the days when it was a prop - not a jet. And boy was it the noisiest plane I’d ever travelled on! Vibrations were insane.
Really liked that video on your blog channel. It was so interesting because I did not know that even existed

So glad to hear that!
Yes I flew the Dornier 328 various times. A great n comfortable prop n jet variant. Unfortunately not many left within Europe.
flew this plane Billund - London last year with my child. was a really pleasent flight.
"Would YOU fly im this tiny plane..?" Nop. Not if it carried AstraZeneca people. I'd give the pilots a parachute, & ask them to leave at altitude.
That seat looks so comfy I want to take it home with me
Flying the small Airplane also on a regular basis from Augsburg to Marseille.
I remember once being a pilot on that plane.

@@presidentofsudan287This is my son’s account. I was just using it. I’m a retired pilot who had flown an A330-300 and 737-800NG.
wish they still flew BAC1-11S
It operates a route from Manchester to Billund
I've flown an air France Embraer 170 from Paris to Billund for Legoland when I was 13😌.
This type also flies a scheduled service ex Manchester to Scandinavia. They look very cute.
I’ve seen them many times in Friedrichshafen, so nothing new for me
Bro forgot abt the b787, b767, b757 and a380 as big
An even smaller plane that regularly flies in and out of the UK are the Dornier 228s operated by Aurigny - little turboprops used for flights to Alderney from Guernsey and Southampton.
Nonstopdan I absolutely love your channel and all your videos You are my favourite KZreadr and I can’t believe how big your channel has gotten! But love both of your channels!

Your very welcome! By the way i have tons of video ideas! I will just pop them down below 1.Battle of the European lo cost carriers(Any European lo cost carrier vs another lo cost european one) 2.Air france Business class 3.Iberia to Palma de Mallorca 4.SAS transatlantic in economy(On the A321) 5.Norwegian economy class review 6.bEond air 7.Air india new A350
Try Newquay airport in the UK, one small runway you can basically see the runway when you walk In the door and it flies to europe
No middle seats too this is the best 😂
Ah yes I saw this land at London City not too long ago. Crazy how small it is
I've flown the CAM - GOT route on this plane, it was incredibly comfortable and the service was excellent. The best part however is that it only takes about 5 minutes to get through security since there are no other commercial flights!

Would you happen to know what days this flight operates on please? Thank you
I’ve seen those operating for Denver Air Connection, always wanted to try one
I flew this very jet from Germany to London city
This also flies from Hawthorne airport to mammoth airport really cool plane
Years ago I flew from Perth Western Australia to the Cocos Islands in a plane not much bigger than this but it had 4 engines. Then there was an international flight Darwin to Dili, we flew on a 19 seat Metroliner. No cabin crew, just 2 flight crew.
I used to fly belfast to Liverpool on a shorts 360 back in the 80s. I loved it.
Bruh the 3 bald dudes reminds me of that one meme lmao
They fly to my hometown Augsburg in southern Germany as well
American here. I’ve never ever had a bad experience with any British flight I’ve travelled on. Food wise, staff wise, customary wise. The brits undoubtedly deserve a place in top tier aviation, maritime and general well-being experiences.
I had the opportunity to fly on one back in 2007. It was midwest ... the aircraft actually had leather seats and i was totally impressed at how little runway that little jet used to get airborne and climb out.. it was from Milwaukee to Minneapolis..definitely left a notch in my memorable flight experiences.
I often get that flight from billund to London city on a Friday afternoon. We call it the baileys and ice cream flight. If you’re ever on it get the baileys and ice cream.. truly wonderful ❤
Look like the good old days with the cityjet and avrojet rj85
Now let’s see a British Airways A380 parked next to this little thing haha!
Midwest Express Airlines here in the US had a few of these. I flew on several of them in the early 2000s between MKE and GRR. It’s a 7-hour drive between the two cities around the bottom of Lake Michigan, but less than 30 minutes flying across it. Other than limited visibility out of the windows, the planes were fantastic. Miss those days.
This BA/Sunair Dornier was common outside my crew room at MAN a few years ago. I used to watch it use the ground air start, the noise was extremely highpitched. Back then it operated MAN-BLL.
Been on this plane. One of the most comfortable flights I've ever been on.
Vibing and subscribing!
Why is everybody bold on that flight
Flew on one of them from Edinburgh to Cardiff in 2001. I remember the seating. Couple of famous snooker players were on it - McMannas fella and other
The moment i heard Dornier, I immediately thought about the Do 17.
It flys over me all the time it’s grate

This is not a glitch! Only optical effect when LCD monitors are filmed by a digital camera!
I've taken it before and never realised it was this special! One of my best ever flight experiences I've ever had.
1-2 layout ,so cute. I flew at least 2-2 (Bombardier)
Last time Dorniers were in Britain, they were dropping bombs.
That plane looks cute like a baby C-17
Alaska/Horizon runs these for short hopping flights. It's been awhile since I flew for business, but these planes were really nice.
I thought that was the bae 146/Rj85 until I saw that it had 2 engines
Honestly, the rotterdam - london city airport route id also this comfortable, in flight service, nice letter chairs with a wealth of space compared to a BA A320.
When you said you flew the plane, I thought you literally flew it 😅
It has great personality
Its a Dornier (328 or something). They don't make them anymore. I think it started out as a turbo prop before being jetised.
Awesome job dan with the KZread shorts drop like
Rode one of these from Chicago to Albany NY many years ago. It was a beautiful day, and the high wing means every window seat has a great view. It's a small enough plane that they rearranged all the pax for weight and balance.
Bro the cockpit is Boeing yoke with airbus panels
I am livid that you didn’t mention the BA a380
Dont forget the British Airways A380
Irish airline Aer Lingus, sometimes branded as Aer Lingus Regional, has in the past used Stobart Air, Aer Arran, Emerald Airways, among others, to operate similar aircraft on shorthaul flights between Ireland and the U.K. - BA not only has codeshare arrangements with Aer Lingus on the DUB-LHR route where they share flight numbers, but BA is still operating flights into Dublin and other Irish airports from the U.K. using smaller aircraft types
I went on the sun air dornier 328 recently awesome experience 😊
For a second I thought it would be a BAE-146
We used to have the 328jet in/out of Syracuse (SYR) operated by Atlantic Coast Airlines as a Delta Connection carrier. Unfortunately I never had a chance to fly on it.
I’ve flown in smaller! 7 seater (if I recall correctly) from Dundee airport to London. I think it was operated by BA at the time…and I only flew in it, because it was cheaper than getting the train…which still shocks me to this day!
This would be an awesome addition to Microsoft Flight Sim!
Looks like the same thing done in the U.S. Basically training planes for those pilots destined for the bigger fleet.
Yes I've heard of the Dornier 328, 328JET, 228, etc. Heck, I even got a couple of flight on a Dornier 27!!
Can’t say it’s the best when we know that the best is down to the crew on the given flight
This aircraft model was not a commercial success for the manufacturer. Small airliners still require two pilots and at least one cabin attendant but can’t generate the revenue unless they have a monopoly on a niche market and can demand high ticket prices.
Its really odd but ive always been more comfortable on small planes like this its like the seats are better
I miss the 146. Plenty of spare engines and sooo quiet
Nicer than a dash 8 and similar size as the dash 8 200 (37) but probably a lot nicer and less noisy in comparison
Only BA franchise that survived.
I recall a similar flight (30-something years ago) Teesside to Aberdeen via Newcastle on, i think, a Fokker Friendship (whatever the technical name is/was). Lovely crew, great flight. Smaller planes don't leave you feeling like you're only a random entry in some corporate register or other.
20 years ago I used to travel from paris to edinburgh and aldo to southampton, it was allways on small planes likes this one, provably embraer models...it was not bad
You should look at regional express AKA ReX airlines in Australia. They operate a bunch of small planes between smaller Australian cities and towns and service regional and remote communities. They have a whole bunch of turboprop aircraft
