hi, I take a look around for SSD upgrade the 5570. the slot M.2 could be NVME or SATA. --- From 5570 manual: Solid-state drive (SSD): M.2 SATA SSD M.2 NVMe SSD Maximum configuration supported: M.2 SATA SSD-Up to 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD-Up to 512 GB It means you can install both: - SATA M.2 (max speed 500-600 read/ 500-600 write) - NVME or PCIE M.2 (max speed x2 slot: 1500-2000 read 1000-1500 Write) For the NVME you can install x3 or x4 model but the bus speed will be cut to 1500-2000 read 1000-1500 Write as max bye

Thank you, installed 1tb nvme (presumably updated bios allows this as original documentation said 512gb is max. Crucial website said I was good to go with the 1tb.

@@WasayTech hi, sorry me but it's not correct. M.2 could be NVME or SATA. it change form model to model. the newer are NVME, the older are solely SATA, same model are both... I saw other video where the upgrade was with SATA but this one is NVME. I don't know how many kind of 5570 exist, if only one, i think the slot M.2 will be both (NVME and Sata)

Well I can’t say for sure. The best way is to open you laptop physically and see whether there is an M.2 nvme port or not.

Yes im using 256GB SSD nvme aarvex.

Brought this 3 years ago. I had times where i wanted to throw it away. Now i installed 256gb SSD nvme. Its much better but its still not for games like valorant. The is too small. I bought it when price was 70k. I actually thought this was enough for gaming by seeing i7 8gen 2TB HDD, 8GB Ram , 4GB AMD radeon. I was a fool.🤣🤦

Using gen3x4 in this laptop is useless cause it doesn't come with G4 enabled and only runs on G2 . So the speed you will get from this ssd will be only half so money wasted!!

Maybe you ssd is faulty. Try using this ssd on another pc to verify if there is any fault in the ssd.
