Thanks very much! That connector was really hard to get out of the battery as you said, but I eventually got it. One problem I noticed was my new battery was the exact same except on the right side of that connector there was slightly more tab so the cable wasn't 100% square but I got it in 90% of the way and it was in there really tight, PC detects it and it seems to work so crossing fingers.

When i ordered for WDXOR battery through amazon, i got type original DELL Battery of FW8KR model. Both are 11.4V, 3 cell, 42 Amph... Can i use it? Please reply me

What about if I don't want to use this batery in my Dell? It is turning off automatically because I removed battery... Do you know how to make it work without any information (from Dell in my laptop) to buy a new one or without any interruption in the system? I unistall all Dell apps but my computer keeps turning off automatically.

Wow...! Just fantastic.... Good language and very practical tips. Neat and crystal clear explanations. Prying technique was good. So was the tip that all screws are not of the same size. I plan to open my 5570 to remove the battery as it has reached the end of it's life span and therefore generates heat when the charger is plugged in. Thank you very much indeed!!

Saw several videos on the topic before that one, and none really helped me with any hint on how to disconnect the connector from the old battery after it has been removed. The magic trick was to pull first on the left side and voila! it did come off! So thanks, Wasay!

I can’t unscrew the two small screws underneath the dvd. The guy I hired before made me unable to do so. Is there a fix to this, or at least a way for me to remove them?

I think it was 1tb. You can read the manual, it will tell you the max size supported
