Just got the Aurora R12 but it came with air cooling all the way around and now I’m afraid to even turn it on due to these temp vids. I’m considering returning it and going elsewhere. Any thoughts or comments? Ps It was intended for hard core gaming.and 3070 card

@@ezdunit7910 Which CPU did you get with it? Considering how tough these cards are to get, wouldn't suggest you return. You can always add an extra fan at the front and get the stock Alienware CPU watercooling, then call it a day.

I needed to say thanks a lot. What a difference. Before I only was at 80mh/ fan speed 90% at low mining in nicehash and was still getting memory temp around 102c and 104c. Now mining at medium in nicehash, fans at 75% temps stable at 90c and making 99mh/s sometimes 100mh/s. By the way always with side panel open on my pc. Thanks again

Adding a fan is a really good idea! See if yours suffers from this issue first before attempting, I suspect it will but might as well check before you go through the trouble.

98c is pretty high for memory. Does the thermal paste make good contact? Usually see thermal pads in those areas.

98c is about where you see the memory on most stock 30 series cards that have the GDDR5X memory and are performing "normally" during mining. On the Dell, the thermal pads are under the black piece but the big issue with the card is that there is no heat transfer from the black piece that the memory chips are connected to and the main heatsink that the fans cool. You may be able to get a bit better performance if you change the thermal pads as well.

Took off my backplate and some of the thermal pads on it was like stuck on the chip so. Is this a problem?

Just picked up one of these 3080s on eBay, card was getting to 105 degrees on memory. Took 10 minutes to reapply thermal paste and it kept gpu temp the same while dropping memory temps down to about 92 degrees. Thanks for the video!!

What hashrate were you getting and what were your settings? I have the same 3090 and after doing this mod plus replacing both fans with noctua, my vram temps are down to 100c and gpu fan 1/2 speeds are still at about 3000 rpm while at a hashrate of 102MH/s. The fans are quite loud and i would love to see temps of under 95c.

@@SamAgro2024 102MH is on the low side for a 3090. You should be able to get it closer to 114 with a VRAM temperature of 100 degrees. Starting point is -500 core, +850 memory, and 70% power limit. I haven't been able to get 95c VRAM even on a EVGA 3090 FTW3.

It's best practice to (practice) with two glass plates about the same size as the GPU chip. You'll find that a large oblong dab of paste in the center will spread more evenly and limit hot spots.

@@Mangorille the V Ram temp was 108-110C and after adding this thermal paste, it appears to have gone down to 100C. I have this sitting in the garage and its around 95C outside. Do you suggest doing anything else (getting a more efficient fan, adding thermal pads, etc.)

@@mango621 That a decent result especially because 110 degree is where the card starts to throttle and slow down. You can change the front air intake fan with the one I linked for a bit more airflow over the card.

You can use HWInfo64 to get the VRAM temperature reading. Does the cooler on your 3080ti look the same as the one in the video?

How is that paste so different?? I've got nt-h1 paste from memex and texture is more thick and darker? are you sure that's nt-h1?

For sure, it came from a brand new package from the official Noctua store on Amazon and opened for this video.

Great vid. Was getting 104C with no mem overclock at all. Not sure what Dell was thinking here, maybe just not thinking at all. After doing what you showed 88C with +800 memory clock, probably can go a good amount higher still.

I just wanted to say I was very frustrated with my temperature problem after getting my brand new Alienware. I lost all hope until I find this video, and I found the courage to try replacing thermal paste, because you explain it so nicely! I tried it today and it worked like a charm. My temperature with nicehash mining @90 MH/s was 110 degree (so I had to run it very low power settings to avoid this). After replacing the paste, I can get 120 MH/s at 94 degree. Thank you so much!!!!

Yes, best is to replace the paste rather than mix different ones. That’s what we did.

r10 3090 amazing difference. The gpu fan now actually cools the vram. The temperature of the vram drops very quickly when the gpu fans ramp up. amazing! thank you so much!

@@bendixon2870 Sounds like exactly my experience with the Dell 3080. It was jumping to 110 very quickly and then thermal throttling. After this mod, it now sits at 96 to 98. Your temperatures for a 3090 are decent good. I get 98-102 on a untouched factory EVGA 3090.

Can liquid metal paste be applied on the areas you showed? provided the heat sink isnt aluminium obviously

Yes that will work for the front intake. I got a Noctua NF-P12 1700 rpm PWM for the front intake and it moves a lot more air than the stock fan.

@@prajal161 On the heatsink itself? That part of the heatsink isn't flat so you are seeing shadows/reflections.

Did the same but was able to get Vram temps down to 90C, while mining at a steady 101Mh/s, using the JP-Dx1 Nanodiamond CPU Thermal Paste It's not as well known as Noctua, but imo it's better. It's got the highest thermal Thermal Conductivity of any paste on the market at 16 W/mK

Thank you for all of your videos, so helpful! A bit of a noob, but need to paste my GPU, read on amazon reviews that this particular paste doesn't last long, some people are saying after a few months the trmps go back high. How is your exprirence now 9 months later? Also what is the paste that ypu would recommend now. I have a very hot 3080 on mt R11, someone recommended to even paste the backplate, any ideas on that. Hey. You're welcome. Experience has been the same, no real difference in temperatures. I'd still recommend the paste linked in the video. I wouldn't bother with the backplate, this mod makes this gpu perform the same as most other 3080s or slightly better.

@Mangorille I have an R12. When mining my VRAM is about 92-94 deg C, GPU Temper is around 41C but my hash rate via NiceHash is around 75MH/s. My question is: what's your current hash rate? I'm trying to decide if it's worth opening the computer to make the changes. I've underclocked the 3080 though - Power ~ 58%; Core Clock ~ -300; Memory clock ~ 0; Fan speed ~ 80%, via MSI. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

75MH/s is on the slower side for a 3080. Most folks get 90-100. This Dell does 95 right now and more can be squeezed out of it but not worth it for my main gaming rig.

I applied the thermal paste, my hash rate is now 95-100Mh/s, VRAM temperature is 88-90 degrees C and GPU temperature 49/50 degrees C. I used quick silver thermal paste, worked very well.

You should send this clip to Dell support team so that they can pass on to their people to improve the products.

@@Mangorille Hey! Well, the trick seems to be working well! No more throttling while mining, despite the 31 degree ambient room temperature! It is just so weird that they put a plastic plate between memory and heatsink. So I've added thermal paste like you said, and added a thin heatsink on the backplate of the GPU (was already there before). Thanks dude, so far so good!

@@camaycama7479 Awesome, I'm fairly sure that black piece is aluminum and not plastic. Pieces of the heatsink actually screw into it and you can see silver metal around the screw holes.

hi. is it possible to bring it a bit mode down with those extra fans that you attach to the back of the GPU? I've seen like 2 fan thing that you attach to the GPU and it should do decent temp drop too. Also (I know, crazy idea here) -- what if I make some holes in the other side of the case? (the right side if you look at it from front end)...

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Also don't listen to all the people thinking 60 degrees is where cpu should be... (and 90 degrees is dangerously hot). These people are from the 1980s overclocking generation.

I am not familiar with the cooler design on the 6800 xt to see if it suffers from the same issue. The 6800 xt also looks to use different memory chips so might not have the same heat issue there.

Anyone know a good detailed video of installation of a second intake fan? Replacing the existing fan is easy but I need links for an adaptor cord and instruction bc this case is so tight. And how would you even mount a second fan? Can I just use zip ties or double sided tape? Help pls lol

I don't know of another video but I removed the hard drive cage that is in the front of the case and zip tied a 120mm fan in that area. The fan still flops around a bit but didn't notice any rattles or issues. I connected the second fan to the PWM fan header at the top of the board close to the memory slots. Been working fine the last month or so. Used this fan: amzn.to/3vhvFjz

Unfortunately no but usually the backplate pads are 3mm. You probably want to pick up 2.5 and 3mm and then return the one you don't use once you get it opened up. The backplate pads seemed fine though.

Did that mod. Worked as great as advertised. I honestly do not understand how paste over the black plastic part of the card when reassembling the two peices can help.... but... It did ....

Thanks for sharing your experience. My thought is that the memory chips are currently cooled by that black plate (which I suspect is aluminum) and that black plate is cooled by the downdraft from the fans. By adding the thermal paste, we are allowing the heat from the black plate to transfer to the main silver heat sink and be better dissipated. Theoretically you should see a slight increase in GPU core temperatures but using the better thermal paste actually gives you a cooler GPU core too.

@@mbe102 Considering that availability of cards are better now, especially Ti cards check and see how the availability and pricing is from a reseller that uses more retail-type parts. I haven't priced recently but you most likely can build something with way better parts now, everything seems to be available. My local computer store had 3080 tis in stock for many months. Hate to say it but they're kind of undesirable given the price tag and being within $200 of a 3090.

Yes there is but the result seem more mixed. Some said they had the same results and other said they had worse results.

I suspect it will be the same but you may get the new LHR (lite hash rate) skus, which are supposed to have slower mining. Apparently they started coming out in May but no clue if Dell is using these yet.

Would I need thermal paste if my r12 has a 3060ti with a i7 11700k? It’s not the best system out there, so will the temps on it be high as well? Haven’t received it yet though so no firsthand experience.

@@TheBluSerpent I took the one without the liquid cooling, as soon as you get better fans the temperature is much better, the cpu gets up to 80 degrees, but with the fan it usually stays at 65-75 ish, hope this helps with your choice :D

The Dell 2080 looks like it has a different cooler design. You can still take it apart and change the pads/paste for better performance but wouldn't be exactly the same as the 3080.

You're welcome. Don't think the 3060 ti would have the same problem. The 3060/3070 use a different memory chip. Best to check your hash rate and how they compare to What To Mine.

That's the big unknown, no one really knows how Dell with react to something like this with your specific warranty claim. There was a comment on another similar video (text below) of someone who asked Dell and they said should not impact your warranty but I wouldn't use that as a 100 percent answer. I would expect Dell's response to depend specifically on the details of your warranty claim. Here's the comment from the other video: Re: Will repasting void my warranty? Thank you for your message. Thermal re-pasting is not a customer replaceable unit, even if you are comfortable doing this by yourself. The act of disassembling, cleaning thermal paste, applying new thermal paste, reassembly in itself does not void the warranty. Hey. Best thing to do is look at the temperatures when playing the games you normally play and see if they are within reason. Would be a good idea to at least install that extra fan as an intake fan. The Alienware only has one intake fan at the front.

@@Jiji67298 I saw a sizeable temperature difference by removing the stickers, it went from hitting 110 and thermal throttling to staying around 94ish and not thermal throttling.

I did this mod on my R11 with RTX3080. Fans are quieter, but my GPU temp did not go down. It is running at 70C before and after. Another hack I completed was adding two 80mm exhaust fans to the side. I removed the plastic side and mounted the small fans to the metal grate, on the inside of the case. I had to hack the PSU bracket for the rear fan to fit. I got a 1to3 fan adapter. I also fit a piece of cardboard to the lower/front half of the GPU to prevent cool air from going directly out the exhaust fan. Cool air from the front fan is blowing to the GPU fans and the hot air comes out the side. No, the cardboard does not cover the fins.

Hey. This mod is more focused on reducing the memory junction temperature of the 3080/3090. The core temperature may slightly improve depending on what thermal paste you used. The fans are most likely quieter because the memory junction temperature has dropped and the GPU is no longer going crazy to cool down the memory chips with the fans. Did you check the memory temperature before and after?

@@Mangorille I got that. I didn't care about the junction temperature, just overall GPU temperatures. Your video shows this mod works to reduce temperatures for junction but thermal paste is designed for metal to metal conduction of heat. How it works with plastic (or whatever poly carbonate or ???) baffles me.

@@UberGeek Not sure what material that black piece is but it is already being used as a cooler for the memory chips. There are thermal pads connecting the memory chips to this piece.

Thanks, my VRAM went from 108 to 94 while NiceHash Quickminer on Extreme setting. If I leave the case open, its around 90-92. GPU from 54 down to 50-52

I believe it's a piece of aluminum that you're cooling as this piece is already cooling the memory chips.

If you remove the HDD and HDD tray from the front (above the original front fan) you can stick another 120mm in there and use a splitter to run the two. I’ve done this using two 120 ml Corsair ml120 pro fans.

Used some 99 percent alcohol with paper towels and qtips. Took about 10 minutes.

dang! im gonna do this right away! im also gonna do the second intake fan. ive already snipped out the metal mesh part where ever air is getting sucked in and out of the case. i even snipped out the metal part on the psu. im not sure if that helped but it made sense to do so.

@@psycho_jet2293 Correct, replaced that fan with the Noctua and then put that stock fan in the hard drive cage right above. This way I now have two intake fans.

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE/PC! Have bought the r11 (i9/RTX 3080) before 6 months. It was loud and had a really bad thermal performance (awful original fans). I changed the fans to Corsair ML PRO 120 > Two for the watercooling (push/pull) and one front intake. Immediately better thermal performance and less noise. BUT the case was vibrating which led to more annoying noise. Removed the top panel of the case and it was better. Then the left side panel was making noise. Added one more front intake fan ML PRO 120. Little bit better performance but still noise. Added foam sellotape wherever possible (between case and panels). No success! So regardless what I was trying to tweak nothing was doing the job. SOLUTION: Bought the BeQuiet Silent Base 802 with a Noctua NH-D15 and now it is just a dream. I have to check the lights to make sure the PC is up and running. No noise.. great thermal performance which leads to a happy user!

I don't feel safe about that. By applying additional thermal paste around the contactsurface of the core you induce heat all around the core-contact surface that is ment to cool down the core. So you're effectivly reducing the thermal gradiant between the cooler and the core theoraticaly reducing the effectivnes on cooling the core. I struggle to believe, that Nvidia did not think their thermal concept through. Although I can see your temps are in a safe range, is it possible that the GPU-Core temps got a few degrees higher than before by any chance? Would make sense to me.

My understanding is that this is a custom cooler made by Alienware. I didn’t notice any increase in the temperature of the core. Most coolers actually cool both the memory and core at the same time.

@@Mangorille indeed, DELL made their own GPU Cards, they are smaller than the original NVidia GPUs so that they can fit in the R10/11/12. If you try to put an Asus/MSI RTX gpu, well you just can't because they're too big.

@@LosSebosFR That's correct, you'll need to find a dual fan card for this chassis. I've put a regular 3060 ti in there before.

The backplate has a lovely copper heat pipe however there are no thernal pads to take the heat from the back of the pcb to the backplate?! It's hard to work out why they would make a backplate with a heat pipe but no transfer of heat from pcb to backplate. I think there was more opportunity to take more heat out of the card. Cheers

It looks like it's just used to cool the back of the memory chips and then carry the heat to the other side of the pipe.

Where is the cooling

I have a alienware r12 with a 3080 rtx and this actally solved my problem while also using msi afterburner to set a custom fan curve. Problem was over heating and stright black screen with no output to monitor at about 55C from alienware. Now she wont quit until 75 plus

I'm suffering this problem now. Black screen when gaming. Also loose the ability to use my keyboard. Have to hard reset. Only had a it week lol. Think I will just take gpu, cpu, ram and drives out. The rest can go in the bin

I left the top fan as is, it's noisy but moves a lot of air. Some folks do a push pull using two fans, one on either side of the radiator.

Put some thermalpads between backplate and memory chips, this will help you lower memory junction temperatures by 10 to 20 degrees.

@@Mangorille then sell non OEM pads that will help. Also,mining will 1000% make the Temps rise because if the heavy stress and isn’t good for the longevity of the pc . you can install an extra fan on the pc very easily there’s a YT video on it that should help it . ;)

@@lordspam2721 No worries, the 3080 was the same, they applied a lot of thermal paste on the GPU core only but the memory was left to be cooled by just the backplate and not the heatsink. Gamers Nexus had decent thermals with their test but I suspect they would have the same issue if they tried something more memory intensive like crypto mining.

Can anyone confirm if this is a Reference PCB for RTX 3070?

@@mbe102 I thought the same thing myself initially but I wouldn't bother, especially when you need a shorter cooler because of the Alienware case. With this mod, I find that the Dell 3080 is performing within a degree or two of my Zotac 3080.

Well, I talked with 2 different Dell rep. I asked specifically regarding this VGA modification and they both said, I will lose the warranty since i am dissembling it physically.

There is a fraud report on ftc too how effective it is I don't know but that might convince support that you are more trouble than it's worth and replace it . At the end you are right it depends in who is in charge then and the policy at the moment.

This was verified on the 3080. I think they both use the same cooler design but you’d need to double check yours.

@@Mangorille so I have an R12 3090 and have throttling issues. Can’t go higher than 107 MH/S when mining with VRAM junction temps hitting 112C. So I just removed the side panel and this one move allowed me to increase my Memory OC to achieve 121 MH/s! VRAM ranges between 108-110 but main GPU & hotspot temps are significantly lower (from 56C down to 49C). Once I do the paste mod, I’ll post results in the comments here.

I have an R11 / 10900k / 64gb ram / 2080Ti - wish I saved the money or bought a custom made, or just stay on the R4 which is now one of my work PCs - does strange stuff at times - goes to test screen graphics while playing mkv movies but not the same move in mp4 - sometimes also does it on you tube like I am pushing more then it can handle - freezes momentary at times - video starts to distort at times - internet keeps freezing on both ATT Uvers and Comcast - I tried to change fans to 3 Noctua NF-A12x25 PWA and bios said no you don't, I will force a 31sec fan test on every startup or reboot unless you put back stock fans - Last night I ordered an Asus mobo and Corsair case, screw the warranty, I will pull mem, cpu, 2080, and power supply and trash the rest - I was moving up from an R4 and currently have 7 working Dells, 4 desktops and 3 notebooks - I have owned over 15 Dells and this R11 will be my last - My wife has the XPS 8900 and the mobo and bios like my R11 will not let you upgrade anything - if my video fails there is nothing I can buy to replace it if out of warranty, Dell refuses to sell you a card without a complete PC - I have been working on PC's since two weeks before Hurricane Andrew when I got my 1st one - this is so intermittent I have not been able to find the cause (I think it is Heat ) but no errors record at all so I have nothing to report to Dell to get it fixed and had it to long to be replaced - I have replaced the heat compound with no joy -

@@Mangorille Yes I tried both - I pulled what little I could and built a new much better PC - the R11 case, mobo and remains went into recycle been along wit the remaining 6 month useless warranty - new PC runs great - also I found two bent CPU pins on the Dell mobo that I did not do - I will never buy another Dell again after over 10 in last 15 or so years -

I have not seen any published torque specs. Use a small screw driver like in the picture and you should be okay. Just make them tight but don't go gorilla on them.

I was in your same position bro, but i decided to buy the alienware because they can give you discount if you chat with them. I got my Ryzen 9 5950X / 32gb memory / RTX 3090 / 1 TB storage / 4 years premium warranty for 4,500 with taxes. Obviously is financing LOL

It works better instead of using paste to use two thermal pads. Just cut to size 0.5mm pads where you put paste and then use 1mm pads for the inner area. This is a good fix, but for people mining long term not a good long term solution.

Hey. Curious why you think this is not a good long term fix. Been using it now for 5 months of mining straight and still going strong (this card actually became my full time ETH mining card). Recently tried switching over to 0.5mm thermal pads and the results weren't as good (video coming out in two weeks on that).

I too did paste. The reason why its not as optimal is because when change time comes I have to clean it all up and also it will likely get worse before pads. Then again it depends on the paste you use too so technically I wasn’t fully truthful. I just assume most people dont buy the good stuff that last a long time. Also I too have gpus with paste but ai know I have to watch temps because anything can happen with them. Once a variation largr enough occurs, then I know it is no linger effective and must be changed.

Also, my paste and pad one yield maybe a 2 degree difference in temps. If you are getting much different its possible something went wrong on the install.

I don't think that I am brave enough to be taking my GPU apart. Especially since they are harder to find than a white buffalo right now.

I hear you, definitely nerve raking doing this for the first time but if your card is thermal throttling then you already have no choice but to do it.

Seems paste is better than thermal pads. I replace pads with paste on all components now days with great results. Harder when the pads are thick. I thought about using copper shims with the paste in areas of thick padding but did not try it yet.

Is this issue specific to the R10? I've messaged many R12 owners and they say there are no heating issues with it whatsoever. It's kind of misleading putting R11 and R12 in the title when the heating issue is with an older model.

This issue is specific to any Alienware with the RTX 3080 and 3090. Both the R10 and R12 are the current versions of the Alienware, the R10 is the 3rd generation Ryzen version whereas the R12 is the 11th generation Intel version. The people you messaged, did you ask them specifically about the GPU memory temperature?

@@Mangorille Yes and some even made videos showing low cpu and GPU temps under load. They all said their R12 had no heating issues. The only issue I've ever seen with it was someone complaining the fan was too loud so they replaced the fan. I have headphones so fan noise won't be a problem. I was thinking of picking up an R12 soon but won't if it has heating issues. Heat issues are exactly what I'm trying to get away from by getting a gaming PC to replace my aging gaming laptop.

I believe they have a 3070. I'm going to be reaching out to Dell as well soon about this issue so I can make a good choice for my next rig.

LinusTechTips made a video about the heat issues as well, it's a general problem with the nVidia 3080 and 3090 but the custom cooler design of the Alienware seems to make it worse based on my experience and some other videos on KZread.

@@Mangorille From what I have seen- the memory junction temps for 3080s and 3090s are high regardless of the card manufacturer- I don’t believe it’s solely an Alienware issue. The GPU on these cards stays cool but most cards don’t do an adequate job cooling the memory, which for the most part, is only an issue with mining as opposed to regular gaming.

Not exactly... There is no paste between the main heatsink and the memory heatsink from the factory. You are adding paste there.

People have to be really crazy if they follow this video with this risky move. Someone who think a little won't do this to lose the guarante of the computer...

Agree. I bought this during the great GPU shortage so this was the only way to get a GPU without a crazy mark up.

Dell these days is quite unlike the Dell in the yesteryears. They have come up with a system called Support Assist that is a disguised planned obsolescence system. Think of it as a Trojan horse. It is introduced to keep your systems updated and working till the warranty period, and swiftly after the warranty expiry keeps introducing updates that lead to one or the other software malfunction. The warranty then offered for a year or two is close to the price of a new laptop; just slightly lesser perhaps. So, my two cents is to ignore the fancy lighting, packaging and other fancy stuff and go for a brand that provides you the not so fancy but a reliable and lasting product. I bought an Aurora last year and it is close to garbage. All the best folks!!

the case itself is clearly a pile of shit.... i am on my 2nd replacement and having issues again... the heat will gradually ruin hardware, so make sure you keep your warranty up or just simply gut this junk build and buy a new case and mobo and build your own from the salvaged parts... dell knows they have a terrible heat issue with this unit and never corrected it, anyone with this particularly designed case is doomed to have issues

@@Mangorille I have the liquid cooled and have had 2 mobo's replace possibly will have a 3rd if i continue to use the case also have had a nvme ssd fail from heat as well... however the tech that dropped by to service my warranty told me that everyone he knows that has this particular case leaves the whole side of the case open and that stupid power supply on a pivot open so it can draw air better....... happen to notice the back of the case there is only one little tiny vent for anything to get out other than the top of the case? He said that this case is the one he has to service more than any due to heat issues and dell knew it was a problem..... it was basically a pile of garbage they wanted out of the warehouse so they slapped a alienware in it and sold it as such when in fact it was garbage and like i said they knew it.

For everyone asking about the warranty, you can guarantee that Dell will void your warranty if they find out about this mod. Although its a simple, and easy user serviceable mod (and should be done), it will void the warranty. Even if this was a homebuilt PC, if you did this to a graphics card, the manufacturer of that card would for sure void the warranty.

Thank you for your message. Thermal re-pasting is not a customer replaceable unit, even if you are comfortable doing this by yourself. The act of disassembling, cleaning thermal paste, applying new thermal paste, reassembly in itself does not void the warranty. @@sagaboythemovie8741 Really depends on Dell and your local laws. The common thinking was that any physical damage would not be covered.

Temperature did not go down , 94-100 still too much.

Sounds like you didn't have this problem to begin with then. 94-100 is actually the temperature that these cards run at. It sounds too hot but all the cooler designs (outside of water cooling) experience these sorts of temperatures.

It is not an Alienware PC, it is a proprietary DELL lookalike. Garbage thru and thru.. no ability to swap out parts. So the ONLY thing it is good for it the video card contained in it.

Ya not ideal, the memory, cpu, ssd, and gpu are good. Rest are typical Dell.

Why would some who knows so much about computers buy a Dell AlienWare? They are notoriously overpriced and bad value for money.

Really just for the video card, you can’t get these video cards without paying crazy scalper prices. First prebuilt I’ve bought in like 20 years. Haha.

@@MrMasterJones I've been waiting even longer than that and finally decided to just purchase this Alienware. A month later it was at my door and gaming/mining away. Happy I did that especially with the price increases and all the talk of the LHR cards coming out now.

Don't get a dell, there easier solution to this problem.

As an enthusiast, would normally agree with you but pre-builds like this are really the only way to get a graphics card without paying scalper prices.

I’m pretty sure all 3080/3090 have vram temp issues. Though most people use thermal pads instead
