I walked the whole of the White Route yesterday. A couple of times there were deer standing on the path ahead of me. The third time they were crossing the Pond Field where one of the original two stork pairs first bred successfully. They are actually culling the deer at Knepp at the moment-luckily these still live to tell the tale!
