They have such soulful eyes. This deer is living a good life. Far better than most do. People can complain that they belong in the wild, but it's a proven fact that almost any wild animal kept in a loving, caring home environment lives far longer than they do in the wild.

I did that with my Weimaraner Hilda-neon orange collar- she was shot and killed by hunters right behind our house. One bullet went through her neck and another just below her collar. Can’t convince me they didn’t see that glowing collar. All they wanted to do was take down the “deer” they thought they had in sight. I called the game warden and he said the ‘hunters’ could not be found. Glad it wasn’t my honey haired little boy in the backyard. May have killed him too! 🥺

My father raised many stray animals during his childhood. They always tried to return them to the wild but those that couldn’t or didn’t want to return to the wild became family pets. He had deer, skunks, opossum, rabbits, owls and other birds all around him and immediately accessible to play, hang out with, and cuddle with during his childhood. Such is typical family life out on a farm.

That is SO wonderful,...she is so polite. I'd only seen deer in public parks, but due to overbuilding where I live, deer are now finding their way into our suburban and urban areas. This recent summer, there were deer of all ages, exploring my shoebox backyard. Some ate my flowers, others took naps under the cooler foliage of my tall decorative grasses. My heart was filled with so much joy to see them resting so close to my backdoor. At one encounter I startled a 3 point buck, curled up and napping in my day Lilly bed. He silently stood up, and glared at me. We were suddenly face to face,...he was no more than 3 feet away. I stopped moving and let him decide his next move. A few seconds more and then he turned tail and casually headed out of my backyard walking on the narrow path between my car, and my garage. Later I spied him running between some other houses on the next block. I was worried about him safely finding his way.

Love this story. I had several deer who lived in my 5 acres 😊. The young ones grew up with us as caretakers of the land. So, I planted an edible landscape of berry patches, strawberry guava, oranges, hibiscus, ponderosa lemons... My lawn maintenance guy wd always say. Hey Mrs. D, "How is it in paradise today?" Our love for the animals brought us such joy.

Every animal has a place in nature, we should not disturb the balance. God has created every living thing according to where it belongs. Cats only eat inside the house, and the dog is the keeper of the house.

It looks like she can come and go as she pleases. That big orange collar is to let hunters know that she's also a pet. I've seen other videos where a baby dear is, for whatever reason, abandoned by its mom, and it grows up with that family. They did the same as these folks and put an orange collar on it and when she matured, she went out and got bred. Imagine their surprise when she came home to birth her baby. All I'm saying is that Some Wild animals Don't want to be completely wild. Thank you. 😊

Knowledgeable about this deer since I was just sitting on the front porch with her yesterday. Rosie does come inside from time to time, but the majority of the time she is outside roaming free. She stops by the house in the mornings and evenings.

Hi, you are so lucky to be a part of her life! I gotta say... I'm a bit jealous. 😁❤ I also wanted to say that a few minutes ago, I replied to a comment in that they said they should release her into the wild, and I told them that she most likely comes and goes. And that she probably has the freedom she needs, if that's what she chooses. I wish you all, including Rosie, a beautiful long and happy life together! 🥰 I'm so happy they shared their story! If you happen to see this.... how did they come to rescue Rosie? I'm just curious, thanks. 😊

Wow. Then this video is misleading. It literally says she PREFERS to be inside. I don’t know why they feel the need to do that. Either way she is obviously very loved and very happy.

@@loveisreal4296 The youtube channel is not the ones who are friends with the deer. The channel just collects heartwarming stores about animals. So they could have put the music and the text to fit the images in the video, like for example that Rosie likes to be indoors, just because they see footage of it being happy indoor. So just trying to tell a story by looking through the footage to get the video result that gives you the best experience as a viewer. Im puling all of this out of my kaazoo, but I don't thin it's an ureasonable possible explanation.
