Hi Carla, I recently found your videos and I really enjoy them. This one is great, your home looks lovely. Quick tip from this Dutch woman here: if you wish you could pierce the stems of your tulips with a needle right underneath each flower and they will stand upright in the vase for ages 🙂 Subscribed, with love from the Netherlands!

I’ve been binging on your videos for the past 2 months and have slowly started decluttering. Taking off work tomorrow to finish what I started in the closet and tackle the bathroom and kitchen cabinets. The focused calm vibe comes across in the videos and is very motivating. Hello, Carla! I was watching your video of where you traveled to NC and i started my first day of clean and declutter!!! (Long time over due) I started saturday Dec 9, 2023) With the smallest bathroom in the history of the world. I first washed dishes, fed cats and made tea, then, started on bathroom. I listened to you the entire time. I got the sink cleaned, the toilet cleaned, the clutter moved into the hall. Then, a friend called and I lost the video! So, I cant clean anymore. Lol jk. I will find that video again. But, truthfully, i needed a break. I'm drinking my rea and watching THIS video!

You need to get a lobby set (dustpan with long handle and broom combo), it makes cleaning up crumbs so much easier when you don't have to bend over all the time. Your stove is beautiful, I don't think I've ever seen a vintage stove in such good condition.

I’m kind of a new fan. I wanted to let you know I appreciate your vid’s so much! Let’s me know getting cluttered is okay and to forgive myself for not having a Instagram perfect space 24/7. You’re motivating so many women. Thank you ❤

Great video. It's motivating! I try to not get my house to a place where it takes a whole day to clean. I now try to unpack from trips right away. And do the dishes right away. It helps me not get overwhelmed, now that my house is decluttered. I'm fighting so hard now to reclutter it so I'm constantly doing small declutters now. I really am fighting the urge to buy more and bring more into the house. It's a constant battle.

Yeah, it takes a lot of awareness to not re-clutter!! I make myself pause before purchasing at least 72 hours. And of course, asking myself. Do I need this? Or will this add value to my home/life?

Love a good deep clean of a living space. The great thing is that with a small space you have to have a spot for everything or it doesn’t work. I’m never sure where all the extra bits and pieces come from, but they follow us into our homes. Your place looks lovely, shiny and clean and ready for another round of Carla adventures. ❤❤❤

A small tip from Greece: we wash rugs like yours in the bathtub.. many times during the year. Just fill it with water and cloth detergent...let it soak ...then rinse it...let it drip..and hang it on the balcony rails, as you alreadt did.

Everything already said, especially the calming music as I was cleaning my own space. I especially liked the last melody at the end.

I can totaly relate to the not unpacking thing. Whenever I return from a trip and didn't unpack immeadietly, there is high chance that I won't do this for weeks, stuff will continue to pile up until cleaning floor would be impossible... I also love it every time when someone shows that you need to make more mess to have it clean in the end. My mother [who never did a deep clean] used to argue with little me, that I am making bigger mess, when she told me to clean [even tough it was part of the cleaning]

Yeah, I left my bag on the floor and just opened it up and kept taking things out here and there. Such a bad habit. My friend said I was just leaving it packed and ready for my next trip. 😂
