Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
This is a peculiar cleaning! Since the tenants had already moved out and left a bunch of their stuff in here and also the apartment was in bad condition. I really felt for this landlady who desperately needed my help to clean the home. All the surfaces of the kitchen were sticky and covered in grease and grime. The tenants had also left so much food behind and I don’t know why. They had been having a hard time with the neighbours because they were complaining about their actions a lot. The kitchen floor is the only thing that was totally ruined, everything else we were able to save!!!
Bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, living room cleaning, Organizing, deep cleaning, satisfying results, before and after pictures

I knew a landlady who rented a house to students during the college year. She was going to be away on their move out day so she asked her son (late teens/early 20's) to get the keys from her tenants. The next day her son called her and said the tenants had destroyed the house (rubbish everywhere, wallpaper ripped, burns and stains on carpets, cupboard doors ripped off, and a hole where someone kicked through a wall!). The landlady contacted the first tenant to give them a piece of her mind. They immediately denied everything. She said she was going to keep their deposit and if they didn't pay for the damages she would start legal proceedings. The tenant said they would email her the photos that were taken by everyone in the house just before her son came to get the keys... And the house was IMMACULATELY clean. Her son had a massive house party the night he got the keys. He and his friends destroyed the property and he was confident he could pass the blame on to the tenants. Moral of the story: When renting, ALWAYS take photos.

I can say i've made it now, i've been cleaning my home everyday for weeks and i'm no longer scared of unannounced visitors, it takes around 40minutes everyday (with no kids) to keep on top of things. Thank you Auri for being a huge inspiration. I'm giving birth in a month and now I feel like I can handle being a mom. Edit : at 18 i used to be really depressed and my apartment looked like the ones you clean, but I always cleaned them from top to bottom before giving back the keys or having visit.

Im a janitor at an elementary school. Teachers LOVE placing a million name tag stickers on desks throughout the school. 🤦🏻‍♀️. Every summer, our jobs take a major slow down because we have to peel and scrape stickers off, and then clean the sticker residue off every single desk. Literally hundreds! 😢. I will try the product you suggested. Other products haven’t helped much.

If for some reason that doesn't work try a blow dryer or a heat gun -- not to the point of melting the sticker, just to heat up the glue on the back so it can peel right off. Hope this helps!

@@jamiejoygatto Ok. We’ll try that. Just looking for a very fast solution because of all the amount worth that we have to do along with moving all the furniture, stripping/waxing all the floors, shampooing all the carpets, cleaning all the surfaces and crevices, cleaning all windows, power washing all the outside and lunch tables, and putting all the furniture back. All while all the other staff and kids are at home relaxing. ☹️

I appreciate the work you are doing. Don't forget a good extension cord that is designed for a heat gun. Most blow dryers can be plugged into normal extension cords. Just practice a little with it until you get the heat right for that particular glue. It works great on bottles. I recently used on a new toilet seat. Why on EARTH they put stickers on new items directly confounds me. Good luck and know you are so appreciated!@@CinderellaRaptured333

My dad was a school janitor for 30+ years. He would always use a razor to scrape them off. He said it was the fastest way to do it. For sticky residue vegetable oil works really well, it prevents it from sticking to stuff and makes it clump together and wipe right off. He mostly had to deal with stickers and tape on the floor though. I’m surprised they don’t make the teachers/students take them off and clean them at the end of the year. It would be easy if they made the students peel their name tags off and have the teachers go through and wipe the residue off. My mom is a teacher and always had to take the stuff off the walls, and stack and clean the desks at the end of the year to make the janitors job easier, it’s weird that it’s not a standard.

It‘s the scariest part of renting out your apartment. You never know if someone‘s going to destroy what you build with your hard earned money 😢 My former landlord once asked me if he could come to see how his apartment looks. Of course I could‘ve said no, but I understood that he just wanted to make sure that everything is fine. He was a very caring landlord so I had no problem with it.

My coworker rented a house with damage like that (it was fixed before she moved in). The previous occupants had been locking a dog in a closet/spare room, so the back of the door was shredded and the wood floor was ruined. Among other things, the landlord ended up having to replace all of the wood doors in the house because of the damage the tenants had done.

Two years and an eviction later there was about two years of dog poop baked into the carpets. Girl was not letting her dog out in the day nor cleaning it up. If I hadn't gotten scratch proof LVP downstairs it would have been ruined, you could tell the dog was running around all day down there. HORRIBLE! I feel most bad for the dog.

  • @9Misaki3

@@AylienYu Yes in Finland the landlord has right to inspect the apartment as long as they contact the tenant and both agree on date and time (if the landlord shows up without agreement then it can be counted as trespassing or something because legally the apartment is the tenant's home). Also if the landlord insist to see the apartment the tenant has to agree on date and time (the tenant can't just say that all of the times given are not good). Like for example I live in rented apartment in Finland and this is my 3rd year in the same apartment. My landlord has been in my apartment 3 times during this time and I have said no to 1 visit. 1st time he was in my apartment was when I signed the contract and he gave me the keys. 2nd time was 1 year after I had started renting the apartment and he came to inspect it (of course he asked me permission before the visit). 3rd time was when one of the other apartments that he is renting had some problems and he came to check my apartment for the same problems (he had asked permission again). And the 1 time when I said that the time wasn't good for me was about 1 month ago. He wanted to do the yearly check but I had just been sick so I said that the time wasn't good for me. He will probably contact me again soon and want to come check the apartment and if I don't have good reason (like me being at work or something) then I have to agree on a time with him.

My old landlord had rules like that, partially from previous tenants. For example, the lease had a requirement about vacuuming weekly (or more) based on the number of pets because the previous tenant had 2 dogs and didn't clean. I think he also had the contracts written so he could technically come in whenever, but would still ask first as a courtesy.

My response is high respect... I was a victim in this. I had no help to clean a hoarder hud housing apartment. Twenty years i tried to clean up mommas mess keeping out cps. All cases were dropped off because of.. me. I lied and sacrificed myself to keep my sister from getting taken. I was tried at school too as a twelve year old by cps,i kindly told her to mind her mf bidniz. Just like that. Thanked her for the feel sorry your broke bag of gifts. Truly it was horrible, abusive situation and drugs.. i married as a teenager to a man who was twenty years older since sixteen. Thank you God for giving me the strength to see thirty. I'm sorry but the tenants that left the apartment in that state should be paying the full costs of a professional cleaning service. One thing is being depressed and being overwhelmed; one completely different thing is being an asshole and have no respect for other people's belongings. I'm glad you helped the homeowner, but I would still send the bill to the "people" who left the apartment looking like a pigsty.

Hi, Auri! 👋☺️ Big fan of yours here, all the way from Brazil! I have been checking some of your older videos lately and I could not help noticing the evolution in your narration. You do the voice over for your videos with so much more confidence and emotion now than you did before. Not that your older videos aren’t good enough, on the contrary, I can’t stop watching them, but I feel now you’re more relaxed and sound more comfortable. The more experience you get with the recordings, editing and voice over, the better you perform. I guess mastering the English language also helps with this narration improvement. 😊 Keep up the INCREDIBLE work you do! ❤

Yes, after dusting off the floor and cleaning off dusty furniture yesterday, it's time to clean the fridge. It's not even dirty. It just needs maintenance to keep it looking like how it came in. I once was a hoarder too. Keeping my home clean definately improved my whole life. I also have laminate flooring through my whole house. Also in the kitchen and near the bathrooms. So to protect it from water, I placed a moisture-absorbing matt in front of the bathroom doors. I also placed 3 moisture-absorbing matts in front of my kitchen sink, the stove and the refrigerator. It will save you from so much trouble and destroying your laminate floor.

I used to live in a house with Laminated wooden floors. I used a lightly damp Microfiber cloth to mop the floor. I had a bucket with Cold Water mixed with Lysol Multipurpose Cleaner. I dipped the Microfiber in the solution and strained it very well before mopping the floor with it. You need to be careful not to use a warm water or a very damp cloth when cleaning Laminate surfaces.

A floor is there to be walked on and be durable forever. All floors need a good level of care and cleaning but some types of floors I can’t imagine paying so much money and I can’t even regularly mop it every week. I don’t wear shoes in my house to begin with which solves the need to have to mop it intensely anyway.

On odors - a friend rented our two upstairs rooms and small kitchenette down to a couple of individual tenants, and one told him there was a bad odor periodically from the room across the hall. The tenants shared a well maintained bathroom down a short hall from their rooms.... One day while the tenants were gone, Adam walked upstairs and could smell the odor, so checked out the second room - and the tenant was keeping a jar in his room to use as a chamber pot at night - but not emptying daily!! He was appalled, and later gave the fellow notice!
