It's funny because I spent the day looking at cabin kits and I kept looking for something similar to yours. It doesn't exist because stuff is made to be so cheap. There's alot of pride in building yourself and it really shows in the finished project.

It's funny you made this vid. I (Pete) was saying to Anne Marie (two weeks ago) what a great cabin (24x28) it could be. Especially if another dormer was added. Great redesign in moving the stairs. Saves a lot of space in the garage. Hey, maybe finish the dormer in wavy/Adirondack siding!
I really , really wish you had plans for this. I just bought 8 acres, this build it perfect. Awesome job!
You are one man crew!!! You make things seem simple when they are NOT!!! Great post!!! CJ almost forgot Lori sorry girl. We all know behind a great man is a fantastic Woman.

I learned a long time ago not to question why. You have your reasons.
Hello everyone.
Excellent video. I understand that people want 2000-3000 square ft homes, I'm just not one of them. I have around 1300 ft now and would like to only have 750 at most. More space just collects more stuff. Insurance, taxes, heating, cooling, etc, would also be cheaper. Although, a large garage is great :)) Thumbs up.

Been watching you for some time now JC, and I never get tired of listening to you explaine how and why you do what you do. I'd love to have a place like you guys have even if it's a dumb kit cabin but old age and time crept up on me and now I'm too disabled to live my dream. So I'll be living it thru you guys. I'm so happy Lori is getting her dream place. Hugs and kisses for Frankie and Tildy.

Y’all be safe as there is a HUGE storm system headed your way and y’all should start seeing it in the next 2x3 days. A lot of snow added to what ya already have on da ground. Next weekend we are even looking/scheduled for snow in central Louisiana with the next big storm system to cross da country.

You know you make it look so possible. It seems like there is nothing you two team up on that you can't or don"t do to perfection.Just when i think its your best build you start another amazing building While you show us improvements with even more beautiful results -plus give us information on improvements how to.You put that information out for all to see is liken to frosting on cake with ice cream! Plus you do it in hell or high wind, snow ,water bumweather &without fail / it is mind blowing stick to it spunk.!! Each project is always made to be better than the last inside and out .I am in awe at your constant spunk, and talents--Rain /snow ice blizzards be damned. Boss/Mate are #1. THE BEST! Thanks!
Thanks Boss. I've got a camp off 16 on Aziscohos Lake part Errol and a lot with garage near Stratford Colebrook on the VT side. Lumber way up there and discouraged to but anything right now. Lancaster was sold out on all ski doos. Trying to buy Silverado 2500 but can't find one. Food. Lumber. It's a strangest time I've seen since mid 70s gas crunch when we lived in the Catskills near Hunter Tannersville
