My mom sang this song to my siblings and I when we were little and still does if we call her upset. My sisters have carried on the tradition and all 9 of my nieces and nephews know this song by heart. Makes me nostalgic. =(

This song brings me back to when I was a tiny thing. Someone I hold very dearly in my heart used to sing it to me and I hope to one day sing it to my kids 🩷 Miss you Debbie 🕊️

She was 4 months pregnant when she made this movie. I love the song and the movie.

My aunt used to sing this to me when I was a little girl. Hearing this makes me miss her.

I would fall asleep to Eddie Fischer and Debbie Reynolds any day

That baby is so cute! Even though he's probably an old grandpa by now, lol

They both have very beautiful voices and it really shows In this song. It’s so adorable!

And now, Debbie has left this world. How sad to lose both Debbie and her daughter within a few days.

Oh, now I understand why Billie Lourd and Carrie Fisher were singing this song when they joined Debbie Reynolds on stage as captured in the 2016 HBO documentary, "Bright Lights." The song choice makes sense now, as it was grandmother, daughter, grand daughter in a loving nurturing family context.

Alma Herrera if you watch the film there's a scene where she's pushing the baby in the stroller and has this big overcoat, but it's pretty obvious there's a big bump under there;) Also this movie (which Fisher actually hated apparently) was released with him and Debbie to bring more publicity to Carrie's birth since they were the 'America's sweethearts' couple then

We miss you Debbie.

Debbie voice is amazing no wonder she got the part to play Charlotte the spider in Charlotte’s Web with her soothing calm kindness how she is well in tune amazing. On this film she and Eddie are perfect together with their baby so cute and adorable.

I seen this movie many years ago, as a child. It was on tv, and my grandparents were watching it. I have remembered this song my whole life, I sang it to my 2 daughters, and now I sing it to my grandson! There thing is, I never knew what the movie was called, or who was in it, until just recently after the loss of this beautiful lady! I seen a clip of it on the news, and I was SO excited! I honestly was beginning to think that I had made the song up in my head!! Lol

Hello Theresa, I saw it when I was young also and the only thing I could remember was them singing the song together. I couldn't remember the name of the song though. So when I got a computer and KZread I searched and searched until I eventually found it on a video tape. Glad it brought good memories to you and a lot of other people. Merry Christmas.

I agree. Tbh I don't find Eddie Fisher a very good actor. He's certainly not a comedian. I like his singing voice though.

Да, и смужем ничего хорошего в песне не получилось, ибо нет хорошей музыки и песни, нет ничего хорошего и в актерах. Правда супруг оказался голубым, отсюда и брак лопнул,сама актриса молодец,как впрочем молодцом оказался и ее мужЭдди Фишер,который впоследствии похоронил и дочь и бывшую жену.Кстати вмсете со своим сыном организовал похороны в Беверли Хилз.

Funny how no one mentions Eddie's singing in this video only Debbie's. Debbie, let's face it, did not have a voice at all. Despite Debbie, I did like the movie and Eddie, even though he did not have much experience in movies, he had the voice.
