My Dad purchased 2 of the 🎶 singing nuns album. 1 was in a white cover and the other one was in a blue cover. This song 🌊 was in the blue cover. The cover opened up like a book and the words of 🎭 the song were written. I would 🎶 sing along from the time I was 6yrs old until I became an adult. My mom made us kids learn all the words to this when I was little. Looking back now I'm glad she did. Such a beautiful song. I listen now while thinking of her and believe I'll see her again far beyond the stars.

We are called to be peaceful and loving and by our example our children will be. Unfortunately we allow them to be indoctrinatined by quite the opposite. May God help us all.

I'm 43 and when I first heard this song I cried one of the sweetest songs and favourite off all time

I was ten when I saw the movie at our local theatre. Going on fifty plus years, it is still as clear and sweet as when I first heard it. It brings tears to my eyes even now.

My Saint of a grandmother used to sing this to me as a child when I spent the night at her house. Made me cry even then, such a beautiful song. Even more so now that she’s gone. There’s a reason we used to call her Saint Linda…

I agree - this song is so dear to my eldest sister and me that we used the lyrics on the prayer cards for our father's funeral. And I've also sung it in times of solitude for the tranquil feeling it brought.

My mom used to sing this to me as a lullaby until i fell asleep. Sometimes I did with tears in my eyes. This is such a beautiful song.

If Debbie Reynolds wasn't nominated for "Best Actress" recognition for this particular role that year she most certainly should have been.

I remember seeing that movie such a long time ago. I enjoy watching the Classic Movies. That song is so beautiful in had my tears, very emotional 😇😇😇👃

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. The music spoke to me, if you know what I mean. It always made me sad to know that the ex-nun this movie was based on took her own life.

I'm 60, and also every time I hear this absolutely beautiful song( one of my favorites) think of my time going to a Catholic grade school(Went to Mass every day) before lunchtime. We had several very gifted nuns who could sing and play guitar during worship at Mass. Brings a tear to my eye every time I listen.😥🙌
