Dude was a socialist 😭😭😭 The March wasn't EVEN FOR CIVIL RIGHTS, we went to the underground railroad museum and they had an exhibit about it, and it was called the POOR PERSONS MARCH. The whole point was that all of those people who slept at the capital with their goats and sh*t were POOR. I don't even blame people for not knowing this, the history books in school make the whole thing seem like the March was for civil rights for black people. Especially hitting home the I have a dream speech. Learning more, the reason why so many people showed up and traveled the whole country isn't because of giving equal rights to black people, but because of like interests in being POOR. That was just the upside to that goal.

He lost me back at "professional homeowner". That's the most masturbatory way I can imagine describing being kind of handy and mowing your lawn. And then I also kept watching for the descent into right wing lunacy.

The wranglestar arc is fascinating. He was this gently spoken home workshop video guy. Then he went hard into shilling for various products. Then he lost his job at the US forestry service for reasons that are disputed. Then he went harder into insane prepper videos. His videos literally tell you how to make homemade weapons, designed to counter special forces, and how to penetrate UN standard armour. Either he really believes in insane one-world government conspiracy theories and thinks that the UN has like ten million special forces soldiers who are going to kick down the doors of every American, or this is all an act. But somehow the weirdest thing about it all is the production. Most preppers record on their phone without a mic and don't edit anything. This is so well produced and also he dresses super gay. He looks like he could be an LA director of photography.

He was super chill until the elections and covid where he started pushing paranoia out to sell survival food en masse, he also openly said he was raised in a religious cult so that explains alot.

I actually used to really like wranglerstar when he was doing tool reviews and genuine advice about camping and wilderness strategies... after he went off the rails a few years back, talking about his homesteading and starting some kind of weird survivalist cult and being anti-covid masks is when I finally unsubscribed, haven't looked back at his content since but seems he's still at that... sad to see it really

Wranglerstar wasn't always so open about the extreme right wing stuff, and he's definitely gone off the deep-end with this end of times bs he's spouting, but in 2015, back when most would say he mostly made decent, sane content, he also had a livestream or long video, I can't remember, in which he stated that it was immoral that gay marriage had been legalized. He's always had many of these really regressive, bigoted beliefs, he just makes it much more of the center of his newer content than he used to.

When that dude (Wranglerstar) did a functions check on his pistol he actually didn't do one. He basically changed mags, and he didnt even do that well. That said, his (Wranglerstar) videos used to be more sane and actually insightful. Think "tips and tricks" for woodland living, homesteading, and fire safety stuff. Unfortunately I think Hasan is right, the guy started posting more and more unhinged during/since the pandemic. Some of it seemed to be satire, but I really dont know anymore and I feel like I've been watching someone lose their sanity slowly.

He once posted that he was fired from the forest service because he posted a video where his son was wearing his work helmet. I think thats what turned him against the govt.

Living on welfare is literally the opposite of slavery! You have the option to work or not and are getting paid, versus being forced to work and not getting paid. I mean, ideally, I know welfare in the US sucks, you have to work for food stamps, and if you're working on disability then you can't earn over a given amount. But those are problems introduced deliberately to try to break the system, not things that could be overcome or improved.

That's the root of all of America´s problems. You have corporations sabotaging the government for their benefit, convinging people its the governments fault, conservatives falling for the corporations rhetoric, and then further gutting the government. Whether its welfare, healthcare, unions, immigration, etc... It´s all rooted in the same problem. A 360 cycle of ignorance upheld by the conservative minority. How do brake the cycle when it´s so engrained in people´s minds? Have you tried to convince a conservative to support universal healthcare? They actually think that it´s more expensive to pay a little tax than constant exorbitant medical fees. Or try to explain the reason why there are so many illegals is because the conservatives makes legal immigration impossible... Don't think I am singling out the GOP, liberal democrats are also overly conservative, just less fascist.

I've actually seen the "welfare is the real slavery" rhetoric before, mostly from black conservatives or hoteps (hoteps are mostly conservative/reactionary too, so differentiating might be pointless). That TikTok guy is almost entertaining. It does prove that homesteaders/preppers are, at best, a few steps away from being white supremacists.

I used to watch Wranglerstar talking about axes, forestry, and tools before he went full crazy libertarian 11:20

I was so disappointed with the guy from the “how do i move” video, I randomly found his YT channel doing survival tools reviews and that was really fun for some reason, and then I found he was a complete right wing lunatic when I watched some of his vlogs.

Exactly, he wasn't always so open about the extreme right wing stuff, and he's definitely gone off the deep-end with this end of times bs he's spouting, but in 2015, back when most would say he mostly made decent, sane content, he also had a livestream or long video, I can't remember, in which he stated that it was immoral that gay marriage had been legalized. He's always had many of these really regressive, bigoted beliefs, he just makes it much more of the center of his newer content than he used to.

The majority of them are _relatively_ normal outside of their insane political beliefs. I mean not normal, but closer to normal than a sociopath lol. What I'm saying is that most of them are just the obnoxious crazy, not the genuinely and directly dangerous kind of crazy. (calling them sociopaths implies that they have some level of understanding that what they're doing is wrong. They definitely do not; the vast majority genuinely think they're doing the right thing. I mean the people, the voters. not the politicians)
