creeping death rite of war stil allows you to make advance rolls. you are thinking of the reaping which does not allow that. also the grave wardens have fireing protocols 2, which means they get to shoot there flamers and there assault grenade launchers and than stil charge with relentless.

Also - don't know if i just missed it, but Kyr Vhalen has a servoarm, which gives him an aditional "PowerFist"-attack at I1. ✌🏼

Nice one. Ive nissed the HH reports. Agree with above. The new missions being 4 turns with obj markers and static secondaries are so much more fun and fluid. No castling at the back for the first few turns abd taco units actually get heart of the legion active more often

Big fan of raising the stakes on Slay the Warlord for unique characters. I know any time my opponent puts one down, the rest of hte objectives go out the window. Nothing else my army could possibly accomplish is going to matter more in grand scheme the war effort than killing another legion's first captain.

Right about saving this for the flight on Thursday to LA, but couldn't resist. One thing Tyrants don't negate evade as the Omni Scope is not bought vision it "one model with an omni-scope ignores all the effects of Night Fighting". So you don't care about night fight but it won't screw an opponents evade.

Great close game, amazing armies. I agree that giving 3 points for named character is a good idea. I usualy play traitor IW, but I already have a plan on kitbashing Kyr Vhalen, he is such a cool character, I really like the relentles buff. PS. Comparing loyalist and traitor characters I often get a feeling that the rules are favoring the former.

I’m curious, what land raider kit was used for the IW land raiders? It looks more like a 40K land raider but the vertical sponsons are different from the 40K kit.

Don't know if it's been answered already, but why do you think Siege Tyrants ignore cover? 🤔 If you refer on the Omni-Scope, that only ignores the effects of Night Fighting, so Cover and Shroud saves are still a thing... ✌🏼

Great battle report but terrible that you miss read the Rad Grenade rule. The Kyr Valhen's Termies should have been Instant Death by the S6 Power Scyth. More over it would have been clever to challenge Kyr Vhalen with a Deathshroud and let Typhon murder the IW Termies with his own AP2 Instant Death Power Scyth.

I know you said its been awhile since you played Heresy, so gentle reminder in Heresy you can only kill whats in range of the weapon being used so your praetor being the only thing in range of the melta at 49 minutes saved on his invuln so you wouldn't have lost that one wound terminator :)

Iron warriors are a very broken army. They really need a revised main rule. +1 str vs vehicles is way to strong in this armour system. If u play against iron warriors just leave vehicles at home and the iron warriors lost their benefit.
