1:28:42 it’s hard to tell here, but it looks like the Terranic Greatsword from the Preceptor challenging Eidolon was treated as native AP2 and Eidolon took his saves on his Iron Halo when it should have been AP3 (since the Rending and Murderous Strike are both 5+). Bit of a wash though because it looks like Pardo forgot the Slayer of Kings rerolls for one Inner Circle units.

On ultramarines T2 wasn’t the plasma squad pinned (from rhino explosion) and therefore couldn’t shoot at the ashen circle?

The pPALATINE blade squad can’t have jump packs…?? They used to be able to. I’m confused. Anyone know.
Palatine Aquilae can take Warhawk Jump packs. The Sparan however, I don't think is allowed.

@@SNBattleReports Any time! For those who are curious, the way I do rapid-fire Gets Hot for my plasma squads: 1. Roll both shots for the sergeant; resolve any Gets Hot. 2. Roll ONE shot for each remaining squad member, all together. 2a. If any Get Hot, roll the remaining shots for those models (because you allocate both wounds to the same model if it rolls 2 ones to-hit). 2b. Roll saves for Gets Hot and remove casualties. 3. Resolve any remaining shots and the saves for Gets Hot, removing casualties as appropriate. It's still complicated, but it's much faster than rolling two dice separately for each model!

Technically, units like the tech marine or forge lord centurion can attempt to battle smith a vehicle to repair the immobilisation, weapon destroyed or gain back the hullpoint.

Great looking battle and enjoyed the watch - quick rules Q, jump pack infantry can't be embarked on a transport without the flyer rule per the main rulebook p.211 (? (although the Legion Warhawk entry doesn't seem to echo it...)
That blurb is literally the only mention of transport restrictions, but it's never mentioned or defined anywhere else. It's wildly confusing. Maybe they just agreed that the jump pack units could grab a ride in a Spartan?

@@SNBattleReports There's space for them for sure, but the 'Transport Restrictions' paragraph on p.211 says that units equipped with a jump pack may not embark on a transport that does not have the flyer type. HOWEVER, it also says that transport restrictions like that will be noted in the wargear description, but it's never mentioned again anywhere in any rulebook, item description, legacy document, or FAQ.

Horus heresy has my second favorite rule set GW has made. If I played I would play White Scars and try to surprise my opponent when they least expect or forgot about my extra movement. On the Traitor side I would play Thousand Sons.
Ooooh, kept forgetting the deathblows for the Slayers! I wonder if that would have changed much for the big grundy combat? EDIT: It just got noticed at the end lol. Lots of new rules to remember eh
