Deathsworn get the +1 ws on the charge from the legion trait as they're heavy, so they're a little better than they were In this game

It’s also worth noting that you can give 2 of them a Great Frost Blade, which is AP 2 at initiative 4. It’s also +2 strength which gives you instant death if you take rad grenades on them. You can get 4 attacks per Great Frost Blade on the charge if you trigger reaping blow, and can use the stasis grenades for fleshbane if you want too.

This BR and the last one (white scars) have been super fun to watch! It’s really cool to see new players with their own paint/play styles. I know it’s because of no retreat, but this is a really nice format!

A note on Rending against Vehicles, it is not an automatic wound. What you do is roll your Armour Penetrations as normal, and then add D3 to the result for the Rending. So with Strength 6 Rending (4+) against a Land Raider, 4s would not be able to hurt it even with the D3 (6+4+D3). 5s would then need a 5 or 6 on the Rending, 6s would need a 3-4 to glance and 5-6 to pen.

Pretty sure you treated all the rends as an auto 6 rather than seperating the 4's, 5's, and 6's for 6+4/5/6+1d3 ​@SNBattleReports

Yeah they did because I want looking through the rulebook to see if I had been doing rending on vehicles wrong haha. But yeah they were counting all rends as an automatic 6 to pen. Where as the 4s couldn't scratch the land raider as it only adds D3 extra

44.23 Hang on....Why are they all strength 12? The 4's are strength 10, the 5's strength 11 and the 6's strength 12. Then you add D3 to each. So max 13 for Rend roll of 4, max 14 for rend roll of 5 and then max 15 for rend roll of 6. You add D3 to the strength of the attack, they dont auto get strength 12 afaik.

@SNBattleReports ah it happens to the best of us when your trying to get on with it. As you guys are focusing on HH now (woohoo), it may be worth doing a series of videos on rules interpretation. Ask members what rules/moments in game they are unsure of and explain how you play it. Good way to get viewer engagement. P.s. Great vid, those Space Wolves are amazing.

Oof Pardo and Space Wolves got hosed off the table I really like the World Eaters list- it seems really well designed. I dont know if its “meta” or whatever, but I can tell a lot of thought went into how it would play. And man it worked this game.

I designed it for tournament play, but at the same time didn't want to turn up the dial to 10, taking some off-meta units for some flavor. Glad you enjoyed the batrep and the list

The space wolf death sworn are ws5 on the charge because they are heavy as per the space wolf rules for units that cannot run they actually get +1 ws on charge isnted. So in the conbat agisnt the rampagers they should have hit on 4+ and been hit on 4+. Also rad gernades do work if its a disordered charge because they work on first round of combat not on the turn you charge it is not a charge bonus. So the death swore are much better then you played them as. I don't mind the forgetting lol because im personally a world eatets player but i should point it out. Great game anyway always love seeing wolves get a proper schooling!

Great batrep as usual, really enjoyable to watch. Those World Eaters look awesome as well. Sadly the same problem I have with my wolves, if you don't go first you get shot to pieces. I find it an issue with the Deathsworn that if their transport gets popped (which it always does) they are then a bit stuck as they can't run and opponents can just hide from them. One to look at would be the Caster of Runes and take the Winds of Fenris discipline. This gives him access to Stormwrought power which gives a unit within 6" (Infantry, Cavalry, Dreadnought) and 5+ shroud. Or you can take a psychic check and if passed gives a unit within 6" a 3+ shroud. Very helpful when you want to throw your units forward. I always add the Aether Rune amour as well for that extra wound as I inevitably fail the leadership check and take 3 wounds so the extra wound is handy!!

Perfect timing! I'm facing the World Eaters next week wirh my Ultras and was thinking of taking some Wolf allies! We have a 3 v 3 campaign going atm. Ravenguard, Ultramarines and Alpha Legion for The Emperor v World Eaters, Thousand Sons and Iron Warriors for the traitor forces. Awwwwooooooo go Wolves!

Beautiful armies, i think Captain Pardo might be regretting taking on some of the No Retreat attendees, looks like they did not come to mess about! I am not a rules guy really but i don't read the rending USR in that way for vehicles, the 4's from the Falax Blades would still be at s10 and be unable to harm the av14 even with the +d3, in previous editions of 40k rending Edit: was only on 6, so i think it needs to be clarified at the least :edit.

you are correct, we should have split the 4s / 5s / 6s and then rolled each set separately with the associated D3s

I have to admit, as a space wolves player, this was tough to watch. I know the pain of getting a lot of points shot of the board before they even do anything. I've been flirting with the idea of ditching grey slayers. They're so many points for a unit with 1 wound and 3+/6++

@@SNBattleReports grey stalkers have done decent for me. They come stock with chain sword and pistol. For 1 point they can take a bolter without losing any weapons. And 1 per 5 can take a special weapon. This makes their relentless a little more valuable. I'd argue chain swords are better than fenrisian axes. All of that, with a vexilla, is less than 200 points for a unit of 10.

No one has done this..and I would if I could..but let Me run this idea by u all. I myself have all pre primarch legions. These are the 4 I have but the last one I just started. The names I'm gonna name off are their names before they reunited with their primarchs..just the way I like them. 1-imperial heralds aka w9rd bearers, 2-war born aka ultra smurfs, 3-dusk raiders aka death gaurd, and not a legion pery say and I run destroyers in all my great crusade legions (pre primarch) but I'm also slowly putting together the 22nd nemesis chapter. Running Medusa, Basilisk, etc ..things for straight up causing war crimes. Could u all make legions before their primarchs and colored and logo's before their name changes. I know it's a huge investment ..but no one has done this yet and I've already asked several channels. They all say great idea...and it ends there :(
