hey man a bit late, but i cant express how happy this made me, growing up i was the big fat kid, 6'6 reaching 300 pounds people were always talking behind my back and it honestly made my life miserable, but i took the that emotional pain and turned it into power, i slimmed down to 240 and one of my friends introduced me to the sport of basketball, barely knew it was honestly trash but i had a bit of talent with rebounding and a few years later, here i am with multiple d1 offers and dreams of going pro. this video truly made me remember those days of sadness and i dont want to look back at them in a bad way, but as a lesson to myself to always stay disciplined and have the will to pursue my dreams

Same bruh they help me. However I don't think he gonna go to the league, even if he went I dont think he will stay. He averaged 4 ppg in the 2021-2022 season with a 41% free throw percentage. He has a good three at 42.6% and a good 47.7% from the field but he averaged 0.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Don't get me wrong, anybody that plays D1 isn't bad at basketball at all, they are better than maybe 95% of the entire Earth but the ones that go to the league are the ones that beat 97% and the ones that become all stars are the 99% and the ones that become super stars are the 99.9%. He's good at basketball but there are levels to this, maybe he will get a huge skill increase in the next year or 2 but as of right now, his chances of getting drafted aren't looking so good. Only reason he may be drafted would be for his potential but he isn't good enough to make a career in the league right now. If Dakota is reading this, I mean no disrespect I'm just saying how it is. If he works on his freethrows and learns how to setup his teammates then he will probably be on his way to the league, points per game aren't everything. But he works hard and growth is inevitable so maybe he will be in the league

Hey man just came across this vid and love it, really good. I have a question concerning the organisation of my day. you said you figured it all out at 8:30 (time of the vid) about not being overwhelmed by all the things you do in your day. What do you exactly mean by that and how did you learn to control it. I myself have a lot of trubble and stress doing everything I have to get done(volleyball practice, workouts,school...) and since I just came out of a burnout, I am scared of just using my body while it cannot endure more things but thoses things you get them done howwww?????? 😅 I was wondering if I would do an adaptation phase again, if it would be beneficial for me. Bye and have a great season and I am sure youll make it to the NBA

ngl your videos are mad inspiring to me i'm 6'2 in 10th grade running big dude and my bounce makes up for it but at the same time i would love to learn how or what made you finish more aggressive and strong because that is something i lack a lot actually but if you see this dakota i love you man, i cant wait to see you in the pros.

thats what im saying bruh, im a 6'4 freshman and im lacking a little in bounce and rely a little too much on strength and footwork to score, but im also trying to learn how to finish aggresively

Your so lucky, I’ve worked so hard and trained so much, but I’m short, people that are taller then me completely dominate and I have to work harder for a point then other, no school wants to sign me because I’m to short
Practice makes permanent! I wish I grew up playing more in sports, however im still trying to find other goals 👍🙏
Dakota man you always nailed every video ♥️ From India

Your such a motivation to my life men hope to see you in any of the professional top leagues 🔥🔥
