Hi Craig Great update mate. The dog will love going to the allotment with you. Careful with the Mint, don't let it start rooting in the ground or you will be covered in mint in two years. 👍👍👍👍👍

Good job cleaning tidy. I would keep the cold frame tbh a little work and that’ll be good to go. The blue plastic on the fence I suspect is to hide the shed from prying eyes. You’ve got loads a really useful bits n bobs there. Lovely lil poo h by the way 😊 nice of you to extend a hand to previous plot holder too btw.

The darl leaved plant with purple flower in with your mint is a violet plant. You will probably use all those netting frames, I think I noticed some berry’s growing near the fence, not sure if they are raspberry or black currant but they will need cages to prevent the birds.

Your very considerate about the fire, another person would just set alight to it not caring about the houses there. There a lot of people with windows open who suffer COPD or Asthma and smoke effects them badly, I know I have both and people light fires all time around me and the air is full of burning smell strong so cannot go out in fresh air because there is none. Well done you getting you place and your start on your garden, not a lot of young men like you doing this type of thing and you so reap rewards for all the work and save money on food and eat better.

I don't think this year will reap much reward in terms of food but hopefully next :)

Is your site private or council run mate, its just i noticed you've got barbed wire round your perimiter, we on our site get burgled a lot but we've been told we're not allowed to put barb up in case the robbers hurt themselves !... Not jokin either cheers

So it's Council run and in our tenancy agreement it does state that we can't put up barbed wire but the council are allowed to. Go figure that one out lol
