Such a lovely plot. I’ve watched some other new allotment series and they’ve mostly inherited bindweed and mare’s tail, which they have to dig up constantly. Your approach to gardening is so real and engaging. Well done!

I'm giving up with em Melanie. I'm really lucky with slugs because lots of nesting birds live on the land next to the site and they keep the numbers down but the cucumbers still get devoured!

Well done for sorting the water I wish we could use a hose we have to use cans. It’s good when you have a bit of diy know how on your allotment int it? Just a little mention. Try to concentrate your watering at the roots of plants so the sun does scorch them. But I’m glad you are enjoying allotment life 😊

@@CraigsAllotment That nice I live in Kent not so nice here some places good a lot bad mainly coast like Dover. I would like to send you some bits for your plot, so if you ever get a PO box address I be able to send them to you. I know that better because not good to give your address. I done with gardening not so good now in myself so dont need it I got a load of cane sticks stuff like that you know.
