I want to remember David just the way he is on this show: perfection. I love him! He has the sweetest smile and I love his laugh. Of course, he is the most handsome, beautiful man who ever lived.

I remember this day. The show called me around 8 a.m. for the ‘question’. I had sent a post card in about a year before. They asked me to stay on hold until they were ready. Unfortunately I had a dental appointment at 9 o’clock so I couldn’t comply. As it turned out, the question was , “Can you name this song?”, to which the answer was, “I Think I Love You”. I most definitely would have answered correctly as I spent almost every day listening to that tune when I was 14. I was obsessed with David Cassidy just like every other teenager at the time. RIP David and Regis😪Sill love you both. ❤️

David looks and sounds terrific here

David is at his peak comeback here....big Broadway star, and about to conquer Vegas, even back on TV with a cool show on VH1....grew his hair longer, very youthful still....he made a great record called A Touch of Blue, a few years later, one of his finest records...

Doesn't he look and sound amazing , if only he could have stayed in that happy frame of mind 😥😥 RIP David xx love and miss you so xx

The interview he did with Piers Morgan was very telling. It was at the time when he was going broke and his wife was divorcing him and Piers asked him if he'd like to say anything to his wife and he said "I just want you to be fair, just be fair" . I guess from that she was raking him over the coals and that's so sad that he felt so betrayed by people who were supposed to love him but instead only showed him that his money is all they really cared about. It's no wonder he was getting depressed and drinking again. I just think he gave up. For a guy that was loved by so many he never really found someone who REALLY loved him for him and not his fame or money. And I also think his friendship with Bonaduce was not good for him. But he had a big heart and tried to help him

@@D3Hearts I agree with you too, except the bit about Danny. I think their friendship kept David grounded. He didn't cause himself any trouble by helping him. In fact, I think he felt good about it.

Nice interview. I saw David Cassidy in that Las Vegas show and he was superb! Great voice, and was thoroughly entertaining! RIP Did anybody notice David Cassidy basically interviewed himself.

Great interview. He looks happy and upbeat. He had a young family and good work in 1996. Nice to know that for many, many years he was well and prosperous. I wish there was a foundation created in his name to educate the public about alcoholism.

Yes, he really was, like sunshine. Just amaaaazing to watch and that breathy voice. David Cassidy, with a billion dollar smile. My heart hurts, he was my first love and it never left, beginning at 6 years old. RIP, sunshine

Keith oops David looks brilliant here 1996. Too bad that devils water destroyed such a talent. In 21 yrs he will be memories... I loved his feathered long shag so much I grew one but I could not beat those dreamy smiley sparkling eyes...

Because of the negative stories about him, I had no idea he was actually keeping busy. It's good to see.

David was definitely one of my girlhood crushes. Not for his music though. I just liked him as a guy. The nice cute guy on the Partridge Family. Had his pictures from the teen magazines on my bedroom wall. Now that I am much older I respect his vocal talent.
