I'm crying as I type this. People nowadays don't understand or can't comprehend the meaning of these songs. I'm obsessed with the military and wanting to make a difference and fight for our wonderful and magnificent country, but something always pulls me back. Maybe in a past life I was a military man. Idk, but it's always nice to listen to patriotic songs.

I can remember sitting at the bar drinking a beer at Texas Cattle Company in Macon, Ga back in 1994 and in walks David Ball with an acoustic guitar, a guy with a stand up bass, and another guy with a snare drum. Without delay, they started playing "Thinkin Problem" which apparently had just been released. I believe they were in town to play a show. It was truly phenomenal and I couldn't get over just how talented this guy was. I still love his voice.

This song really touched my heart. I had a brother in law who was in the Vietnam War and survived. But he was killed less than a block from home by an 18 year old boy who ran a traffic light. The boy didn't have a scratch on him but he killed Pete. July 13 1978. And it still hurts today. He left behind 2 little girls.

Wow! I never head this song. I had a 67 red corvette and I can relate to the soldier when he wrote that note. I had to sell mine when my son was born because 2 adults, a baby and a dog just wouldn't fit. I loved cruising down I-80 after work with the top down at a time when the speed limit was 80. Now at 73 I drive a RED Ford Escape. What a come down.

Beautiful song, music brings us back to different times in our lives. My brother Robert was in Vietnam at that time, many blessings to all those who served this great country!
Awesome song provided to us by some awesome songwriters and an awesome singer!
how can 85 people not love this
One of my very favorite songs ever! Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

Once that cadance starts I always get the chills as well as tear up. I love my fellow big brother's all Nam vets.
Emotional beautiful heartfelt song - God Bless America !
Now I understand why it hits home harder. My dad served in Vietnam and he liked when this song came on ❤
Great great song really sung well 💕💋great tribute 🥀god bless America amen 🇺🇸🚘
Linda Davis is still absolutely STUNNING!! Wow!! And David sounds great!!
Such a great song. I remember when this one came out. David Ball has a great voice.
My wife and i got married Nov 10 2001, we drove from North Carolina to Niagra Falls for our honeymoon. Just about the time they were playing this song all the time on the radio. So while this song is awesome by itself but it reminds me of the great American honeymoon roadtrip ever.
So powerful. I was touched by that.
Great musician an to are men an woman in uniform thank you for your service god bless you all U.S.A
Goose bumps every time I hear this song. 👍🏽
This song is sooo moving. It reminds me of the old urban legend of the man buying a Veteran's Corvette. It also was released around the time that my uncle a Korean War veteran passed away.
There is only one other time I can remember hearing this song, and up to now did not know who sang it, I m going to get it soon. David Ball reminds me a lot like Mr. Geoge Strait, kind looks like him too.!!!
I love to hear Wood Newton sing his song at the Flora-Bama during the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival (FBISF). He may not have the backup band and singers, but he too is awesome!
