Interesting fact is: (SPOILER ALERT) When 2019’s Ulrich tells young Egon the words:”My only aim is to take many lives,the more the better I feel” in 1953...the scene where 1986 Ulrich listens to the song while playing a video game,and old Egon enters his room...is an event that already happened in Ulrich’s lifetime...but is yet to happen in Egon’s It’s not just the past that influences the future..the future also influences the past!!!

I made a cover of this and used his voice as intro. The song was played faster than original tho in Just clocking 3:59 minutes including the intro.

I knew about Kreator for awhile because I had gotten into thrash with Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer but I had pretty well moved on to the heavier stuff before checking them out. I saw this scene when my family was watching this show and I was like, “I think that’s Kreator!” So I checked out the album because of this scene and it became one of my favorite thrash albums. It’s one of those incredible albums that tows the line between thrash and death metal flawlessly.

you could say Kreator was one of the founders of brutal thrash/death thrash with their first two albums, most brutal thrash bands released their first stuff after Pleasure to Kill

Then in s1e10, old Ulrich tells young Egon in 1953 about the song and how he'll hate it. Then again in s2e2 when he's visited by Egon in the psychiatric ward. Then in s2e3 Egon played it in his home. And then questioned ulrich on it.

Wow, deep thrash roots emerging after Drei und Dreizen Jahre! This was the first metal record (cassette actually) I bought as a kid, so to hear it in a TV series is 🤯. Even more that Tiedemann figures out Mille Petrozza’s lyrics by ear amidst brutal noise-music :) but after watching more of the series I could see why. A big 🤟🏼 to writers/producer! Thrash hard!

The thing that bugs me about this scene is that Egon would already have arrested adult Ulrich in 1953 who said "my only aim is to take many lives the more the better i feel" so why didnt he remember that in this scene and then 1) realize that the Inspector was adult Ulrich and 2) realize that time travel exists?

It is a very strange release that was used in the movie. Obviously it was a remastered version of 2017 but the gatefold had pictures from inner sleeves and the cover had no word "remastered" + the vinyl itself on the turntable was original! Like in 1986. I can not understand what kind of special release they used for the movie)

I have been a Kreator fan since 2010

In episode 10 when 2019 Ulrich is in 1953 and says those lyrics to Egon while having pictures taken of him ... why does he say them? And why does he say them in English? I know the bands German but sing in English but it’s weird. Never hear is Americans listening to metal bands who speak only German
