Katharina is better than Hannah and Ulrich. I mean, Hannah married Michael which is actually Katharina and Ulrich son and having an affair with Ulrich which is sucks and weird at the same time, Katharina might be abusive, scary, or a war freak but she was betrayed and played by both Hannah and Ulrich.

Or from year 1953, did she had an another affair with Egon because of the existence of Aleksander in year 1986 and Katharina having a black eyed and the dead body from the lake? Yes, Hannah doesn't know anything from the start but she betrayed Katharina by telling her that Regina is the one who filed the case against Ulrich in year 1986, and then when Hannah know about time travelling, she carried the machine around her to travel in year 1953 to meet Ulrich who's in jail, but did she save Ulrich? No, because it was also inevitable and everything is connected, I doubt that Hannah's parents is also herself (maybe) because she probably stayed in year 1953 and we never saw who tf Hannah's parents are so i guess maybe herself, just like Charlotte's daughter Elisabeth. Yeah I also felt bad for Ulrich because he doesn't deserve the pain when Mikkel is missing, but he also give in to Hannah so he probably cheated on Katharina, cheating was never an excuse or something, it is a choice. Just like Noah and Adam said, you must play your role in this game. Did you remember when Jonas said to Hannah that you only need herself? She doesn't understand that how to put it in the situation, she started to became selfish on that day realizing she doesn't need Ulrich except from herself which is sucks.

My initial impression of Regina was of a stuck up snobbish woman. That changed after this scene and the context we were given for her. By far one of the only truly innocent characters in the show.

It’s fun that even though Regina and Aleksander are kind of codependent, they are still the healthiest couple in the show. Certainly one of the few without any incest whatsoever.

@@JuniorAviation2017 there is actually a outflow of scenes/trailer and video was add like month ago was public for 3 DAYS THEN it was unpublic or private video and like 2 weeks ago it was public again like for 2 3 days until it took copyright strike :) and yeah there was a scene inwhich urlich looked like boss of mafia and it was clearly Able to See that two or three guys with him have the wearing of like 1953 + some kind of pepescha in hands urlich and his mafia will Hunt for PPL who want to build atomic electeicity i guess or urlich will have other his stuff in mind coz i think urlich inside have some kind of evilnes :))

I hate the fact that Ulrich didn't apologise her even after he knew the truth!

Poor Regina you can see in her face how she still fear Ulrich due to the trauma and all the shit happened between them, she ends so stressed out after the confrontation and while she understand that she wasnt at fault she carried the stigma all these year, ita more sad cause it makes more sense that she ends with cancer due to her stressed life :/

Loved Regina's acting in this scene. Her emotions were so raw.

I have to say this is hands down my favorite scene. So much hatred, and confusion giving way to so many revelations but still so controlled. After this I fell in love with Regina

Jonas betrayed Bartos with Martha. Martha betrayed Bartos with Jonas. Ulrich and Katharina were bullies. Ulrich almost killed a child (Helge). Katharina tried to rob her mother with a knife. Magnus, Martha and Francisca beat Bartos, tied him up, and left him abandoned in the cave one night. Aleksander killed someone and impersonated him. Claudia killed herself (xD). Hannah was always a bitch ... The only innocent character on the show was Regina, and that's why we love her.

@@Loptr177 Can we put Elizabeth in this category too? That poor girl went through so much trauma after the apocalypse. She lost her sibling she lost her mom. Her father was killed right in front of her and she killed the man that killed her father and tried to rape her. The only friend she had to turn to was young Noah. Years later after they both tied the knot as a couple their baby was kidnapped by her future self and cherry on top her husband Noah had to do unspeakable things all in an effort to find their baby and died as a result of a sick paradox loop. Elizabeth I felt really bad for the most.

Love Regina so much❤ But I have mixed feelings to Ulrich and Katharina. On the first side, they were bullies and (as for Katharina) so arrogant and toxic to other people. But young Ulrich was a bit better than young Katharina. But on the other side, adult Ulrich and Katharina are loving parents, Katharina has changed a lot since her youth(in good mention), both of them are ready for everything for their children. I really like one of the episode of s2 when adult Katharina was so nice person and also loving mom. So I can't hate them. To be honest, I like them, but anyway can't absolutely forgive for Regina. This sweet girl deserve better😢

I really really love the characters. Seriously, every single one is bad, but seeing season 1 and 2; I must say the only person who really stayed the „purest“ is Regina. She suffered so incredibly much. A no show father, an egoistic mother and her grandparents all died so early. Without her Aleksander she wouldn’t have anybody. Such a pity her son turned out to be so arrogant :/ she definitely deserved better. As for Ulrich, he was never a good person. He deserved the bad things coming for him. The only good about him is his love for his children - but then again, he was more than willing to kill another child (even if he grows up to be a child murderer himself - reminds me of „would you kill baby Hitler“). Katharina is still a bully. And Hannah is even worse. Sick people.

That's not why it happened. Ulrich and Katharina tied Regina to the tree bc they were bullies. Mads then started walking Regina home. Mads went missing, and THEN the false rape accusation was made.

There's one thing I don't understand. Regina tells Ulrich that Mads used to walk her home because he knew she was scared of walking home alone due to what Ulrich did to her. Ulrich then tells Regina that he did that because he thought she was the one who falsely accused him, when in fact it was Hannah, but Hannah only accused Ulrich after she talked to Mikkel at the hospital, but when Mikkel arrived in 1986, Mads had already disappeared. I don't know if I'm missing something, but if I am, can someone explain it to me?

I tought they said Ulrich did that to her due to the false accusation because there's a part where Ulrich says she was the one who ratted him out to her grandfather after they were talking about the bullying, but you're right, I just rewatched the scene and Ulrich says that because he was trying to prove his point that Regina wasn't so innocent and not because he was trying to justify what he's done. @@rinmartell2678 there a reason to them be like that as a teens, specially katarina, sje ends up a bully and impulsive/agressive due to the fact that her home was a living hell cause her mother was unstable andusually beat her up and insulted her like trash, imagine how that affected her, i mean everyone feels bad for regina for being bullied (and as a result her fears) but at least she had a decent home at that time, sadly when someone its abused physically and mentally they became bitter and unstable too

She always had a helpful mentality, asking young Jonas to stay out of the rain, approached clueless Mikkel and gave him a chance with her, also wanted to help young Jonas in Eva's world when he approached her, Hannah is just misunderstood!!!!!

So no one is wondering this : Meds disappeared after helping regin return home after ulrich and kathrin tied her to tree. And ulrich tied regina after meds disappeard. But ulrich was arrested after meds disappeared.

Ulrich tied Regina to the tree in the summer, in June, the night the passageway was opened. After that, Mads started walking her home, and he disappeared in October. That's why Katharina tells Regina: "you trying to get me back for the summer? It was a joke, we weren´t going to leave you there all night". Ulrich and Katharina did that to Regina before Mads disappeared.

AND THEN THERE´S ME, TEAM REGINA & ULRICH 💐/🌪 I even kinda ship them because they are both my favorite characters and I would love to see their scenes together since I love these actors and their excellent performances. / Although I realize that the two of them would not fit in with their past and also the past of their parents + they already have their own families and children. It would be awful, but still I LOVE THEM. ❤️/ Interesting to read hate comments about Ulrich, I do not want to stand up for him too much since in my eyes his character is really bad, but I can not help myself to dislike him. Oliver is incredibly handsome, loving and charismatic man and in my opinion, in his personal life he is absolutely divine and kind person! I wish Ulrich got better and I love him for his love for his children. He devoted his whole life to find his son Mikkel.💟🌾 And then there's Regina, who deserves so much more, I totally sympathize with her character and especially with her younger version. She deserved happiness and love, and instead of finally finding her peace, she got cancer. It's really painful to watch her suffer. I love her so much. 💕

Its kinda the point of the early character development. We're made to feel very early on that Regina is this mean spirited witch, and outside of adultry, her peers are pretty good people. But it turns out she's the best of all of them. They're far more deeply flawed with darker spirits than her by a mile, and her hardened shell and biting tone to them in particular is only the result of all the crap she dealt with that was no fault of her own. Her ultimate fate in origin world was highly satisfying for that reason.

I don't _hate_ any of Dark's characters, not even Hannah. But I do dislike them. What I really do though is love the subtle and detailed depth to them. How their flaws and nature and darkness and the causes for all their sinning are crafted is so carefully done.

And the biggest bully of the show ends up in a mental institution prison for the rest of his life as punishment. If that’s not karma I don’t know what is. BTW The actor who plays Ulrich also plays Adolf Hitler in the film “Look Who's Back” LOL 😂

AiakidesMythos is the duality of everyone deemed “bad.” If you dig deep enough into anyones story you will see the good in them as well as the suffering that causes them to make others suffer as well. It is why “good and bad” are extremely subjective and IMO a myth altogether

Ulrich is trying so hard to Gaslight her its not even funny anymore. He was definently going down a bad path ever since he became what he had hated as a teen. His punishment was fittig in a way, the guy who out of egotism didnt wanted to stay away from certain people and relationhips endef up alive but essentialy without anyone, for what must feel like an eternity almost like some old greek punishment the gods would dish out.
