Dara’s smart, mechanically minded, competitive, and has enough lateral thinking skills to think outside the box when necessary. It completely makes since he’d become the best ever contestant. Heck, the fact that he did this while being saddled with John and Fern for teammates, shows how great a performer he is.

I think Dara and Fern actually got on pretty well. She has some good ideas and she wants to succeed. She's just sometimes not practical. John was the really hopeless one. But I want a Dara & Fern sit com. Maybe she's the long lost Scottish branch of the family as 1) she said that's true of her family, that she has Irish relatives, and 2) I'm partial to it because I also have a similar Irish/Scottish mixing of relatives in the distant past. I think they could be hilarious together as they tend to give off father/daughter energy.

My dream lineup will be Rachel riley, Stephen fry, Susie dent, and Sandi toksvig. Maybe they can somehow get Brian Cox in as the 5th entry to compete with the others. I'm not sure who else could compete with the other for off the top of my head that's in the entertainment industry

No one's too smart for Taskmaster, and I say this as a massive Dara O'Briain fan. Wait, what? instantly proves it. Also, Victoria Coren Mitchell is very intelligent yet she was rubbish at Taskmaster. Anything can happen, no matter how intelligent you are.

But I think it would be different considering the majority of tasks have little time and require practical thinking. I think he would excel in some out of the box thinking but I also think he would overthink many tasks

I'm like 110% sure there's a serial killer stalking London. Witnesses tell he's a big man with a bald head. The last thing his victims hear is "It's not just nice. It's delicious."

Love Dara and was expecting him to just run away with this but Sarah was actually very good. If not for some very poor luck and more or less being sabotaged, she would have actually won.

Sarah actually beat Dara in the filmed tasks, and it wouldn't surprise me if she has the all-time highest score for filmed tasks alone. Although Mae might have overtaken her

Dara is one of my favourite comedians on the BBC! I really enjoy his comdy. It's a shame I missed him when he toured Canada, if he comes back I'll definately buy a ticket.

It was a final task, in it the contestants were asked if they wanted a 6 inch or 6 foot pole. They were not instructed on what they would be doing with it, and were left to decide which pole would be best for the unspecified task.

Moments before the task, Alex asked them inches or feet and they had to make a choice. No context was given. Their answer determined the size of the horn brush

There are many different kinds of intelligence. Book smarts, problem solving, social intelligence (can't remember what people actually call it, basically being really good at handling people and figuring out the best way to interact with them). I'd say that book smarts is the one people tend to focus on, at least when you're younger, since it's what tends to be used in exams.
