I will always maintain that Josh counting the grains of rice was probably the first of that set that was recorded and his “you’re going to have to watch this 5 times” sparked the inspiration for Alex.

We can tell for a fact that that is not correct by how the task is worded. It just says “count the beans, your time starts now”; there is no “fastest wins” because only one person is doing it. Individual tasks in all series do not have victory conditions.

Josh's counting tasks were the funniest thing that season, and were suitably epic.

I think Series 1 has more savage moments than any other series. Partly because the show was still raw and Greg was always ruthless.

the ‘melt the ice’ task I believe was the first task I ever saw when it went out live and I’m so glad I tuned into -Dave- the appropriate channel when it did.

Should have read the word 'tears' not as in crying but as in tearing paper and made lots of tiny tears in a piece of paper and jammed it in the egg cup

I ADORE the bits where the task is set for only one contestant and they only find out on stage.

I love all the seasons but this season has my heart! The whole gang was just so fun with each task❤

7:25 there is no regulatory limit on the maximum value of a cheque in the UK. However clearing a cheque would trigger security concerns over certain values that would no doubt trigger security checks and anti-money laundering procedures.

I would rather watch Lucy Beaumont again. She at least tried to do the tasks & was hilarious in her attempts. Roisin Conaty on the other hand, came across like a spoiled child who wanted (& sometimes received) preferential treatment. She just seemed lazy.

Sweet innocent trusting Josh. I gather he's married now. Presumably to a very calm and wise woman who has been competent in setting safety nets around him - them - their home and their bank accounts. Between these and his boundless trust in "the essential goodness of human nature!" Otherwise we might see a rapid descent into anxiety, benzo's addiction and longer term asylum accommodation!

I don't think Josh went hard enough. As far as I'm concerned, he did three extra tasks and came first in each - that's worth 15 points, not 1
