For me, this job means that Steve gave the client back his memories, his best moments, his best feelings, his passion ... everything he needs or wants to live a happier life. Surely the client will take firmer steps with those boots. I think that is priceless. Great job Steve! 👍

I completely understand where this guy is coming from. It's not the $$$. I go around trying to find things I loved as a child, lost or broken, it's fun when I finally find the item. I know weird!! I enjoy watching these shoe repairs, people don't drop their shoes off to the shoe makers anymore, SAD. Takes a lot of talent. Beautiful work!! TY.

A great job as usual Steve. As long as you have the money I see no problem in spending $900 restoring a favourite pair of boots. We are always being told to restore, reuse and recycle. I’m guessing truck driver boots as the sole had no wear. As for the dog teeth marks, is the dog no longer here cos it bit the boots?!

It depends how you cut toward. Forcing with your thumbs to move the entire blade is good. Forcing in your full hands to move the blade is not.

@@Yoldark34 not always the case. There are cuts in wood carving where you can get a very powerful cut towards you. Elbow needs to be tight against the body.

I noticed that he hit his finger nail and is starting to grow out. If you ever had that happen to you and you can feel your heart beet from your finger. It's very painful because it's under pressure. If you get a small drill bit (the smaller the better) and slowly drili a hole through your nail.. DONT USE A DRILL MOTOR!!!!!!!! Use your hand it will drill. Once you get through blood will squirt out and the pain will emediatly stop. Your in pain because it's under pressure
