Riding Boots, transformation
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Another project done. These custom made riding boots are about 15 years old. It was made in New York by Der Dau, they were a little tired. Full JR soles and JR dovetail heels w/ brass nails. Heel liners were in bad shape along with reinforcing the foot bed. Cleaned dyed conditioned and now he is ready to go to town with them.

You know the expression “watching paint dry”? I actually enjoy watching the dye soak into to the leather

I know right! It is so soothing watching the dye soak into the leather.
After this guys father's funeral, he's going through his fathers belongings and in an old wallet he finds an old cobblers receipt dated ''1943''. The receipt is for a sole and heal job. The guy knows where the cobblers shop is so he takes the receipt and asks the cobbler if he knows if by any chance they still have his fathers shoes. The cobbler takes the receipt, goes to the back of the shop and after sometime comes back and tells the guy he's found his fathers shoes. The guy says '' that's amazing, after all this time you still have them, can I take them with me?'' The cobbler says to the guy '' no, they're not finished, come back next week!''

I guess it applies to the Swedish, Finish, Danish and Norwegian flags too. :)
They look like the Boots the actor Bill Campbell wore when he played the Rocketeer. Thanks for the Video's Mr Bedo you are an artist and a true craftsman. Let's continue!
You, sir, are a world-class craftsman. You are so meticulous. You do everything you can to satisfy your customer and produce an exceptional product. I could watch your videos all day.
Nice save on the boots Steve! "Hey man, why you triggering me man?? Why you using that chisel man.....that's chisel abuse man" LOLOLOL
I Love when you do riding boots. I think this is only the second pair but as an equestrian it’s really interesting to me.
Step right up folks - Presenting Mr Steve Bedo and his comedy cavalcade. He’s here all week! There are 10 people in the world that understand binary! Those who do.....and those who don’t. I thank you. Great work on the riding boots sir. Seriously Steve, well done. Shine on
I was upset today. You made my day again. Seeing something bought back to life is really, relaxing. Thank-you Steve.
Really enjoyed hearing about how the machinery works with the exposed views.
My uncle is a harness-maker (for draft horses and so on) and it's really interesting to see the similarities and differences between his equipment, yours, and then mine as a sewer/quilter.

When you post new videos, that makes us all smile! Amazing work as usual. Thank you.
Great job! You cracked me up with your personality and dad jokes were ok, but you telling them and laughing was funny. The country has major strains so thank you for the head relief.
I've watched the video, as usual. felt better because I've witnessed a good job, as usual... and laughed several time. Perfect day so far. Thanks Steve.
After watching so many of your videos in the past week as I get more and more into leather shoes and boots, I'm happy to be able to catch a new one as it is released! Keep doing what you do!
Steve, thank you for giving us a glimpse into what you do. It is always a pleasure to see you work your magic. Please ignore those who feel the need to be negative. Thanks for spreading a little happiness with your jokes. Just keep being yourself.
New gloves... lovely to see Steve's viewers love him as much as he loves his trade. Except the chisel haters.

Greatings from Germany Master. Im a shoemaker/ Cobbler too. You gave me a lot of inspiration. Thank you.
YES!!!!! Thank you! So nice to see you again!
Stitching in the ditch is what I call it on a regular sewing machine. I love watching you, you are such a talented guy. Artist in my book. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Your people are here. Lulu tips! I love lulu tips. Touch of class! Love the name. Studies are cool. The results are real. Yes bad jokes! Lol. I bet that stain would be great for eyebrows and beards!? I love sewing machines. I started sewing on the peddle singer and when my grandma had seen that I had an interest, she explained as much as she could in English that I could understand. I make custom draperies. Trashed many machines ( stripped the gears...yup)Beautiful job Steve. Very very nice. Look at those tips!
In my experience, riding boots are a beast to break in but comfort is so important. Totally worth getting them renovated.
Peaceful inauguration and some normalcy back in the world. Reasons enough to put a smile on my face. 🙂
Steve, you made me smile twice, good job.
You also have the same “dad grunt” as my dad. Makes me feel safe😝
Beautiful restoration Steve. The owner should be delighted with his boots & your jokes. Keep smiling & stay safe.
I love the boots, color is fab. And your jokes kept me cracking. 😂
Nothing else but respect. Thank you. I sit thru all your videos with an awe. Mouth dropping, eye popping )
T he boots look fantastic. Thanks a lot for the video Steve.
Love the finish on it at the end. Rejuvenated and still has an aged patina. Great stuff young man! Keep it up. You'll eventually become accomplished.
Best part of the video, “let’s laugh today”. Wonderfully put, my friend

Steve, you exude confidence when you do these jobs. I would be scared stiff that I was going to put a cut right through the parts of the leather I shouldn't. But then again, that comes with all your experience. Great pair of boots.

Those jokes happened just at the right time. 😂😂 is the best medicine 👌 Great work once again
Love the dad jokes! Thanks for being positive in negative times. 👍
I love your jokes, and everything about your channel. Watching gave me the push to find a local place to get my Clark’s brogue oxfords re-heeled. They are not expensive, but they have the fit and look I love, and they quit making them. They were sent out, decent , but your teaching has shown me I can sand them a bit and make them even nicer. Now my favorite ever patent ones are going in.c
Amazing end result. What a master craftsman!
Wow great job they look brand new again awesome 👍
I laughed at your "butter" joke! Chuckled at the other 2 jokes for real! It's a great show! I love watching how things are done. You explain well and are hilarious!
