I love his voice in this soooo much!! He fills us with the visuals that most singers try to do, but end up having to rely on imagery. Sooo incredible!!

This is one of the most beautiful songs from Dan! This song belongs to Dan now, just like so many of his other covers. Dan is perfect in every song he sings! Thanks for your reaction! 😊

You need to watch The Hobbit movie to understand the references to the snow and leaves, etc. The journey that was taken by the Hobbits and Dwarfs was long and arduous and the song covers a time just after battle where many of the friends died and when the Hobbit sets out on his journey home. Dan has a rich timbre to his voice even though he is singing softly - it's a beautiful song. Billy Boyd sang the original song in the movie, another beautiful rendition. Thanks for your reaction.

Thank you! I love the many sides of Dan Vasc. His father passed away three months before he uploaded this.

This song is the transition from the Hobbit films to the Lord of the Rings, it is the closing of a cycle, hence the name The Last Goodbye, tks 😊❤

Dan Vasc sang "The Last Farewell" from "The Hobbit" with an incredibly wonderful voice. When describing the landscape, his voice sounds like a clear stream babbling over sparkling pebbles. In terms of the quality of his vocals and the interpretation of the song, he's on a similar level to David Garrett with his violin.

This is really impressive. Dan has a way of helping one envisage what he's singing about in such a spectacular way. He does this in "The Song of the White Wolf" from the Witcher series. Thankyou

If you want to hear more of the "softer" or more ballad style side of Dan, check out The Music Of The Night from Phantom of the Opera (or any of his Phantom covers) as well as Pricilla's Song from the Witcher TV franchise and gaming series. (Non-metal version - he does both). There's also Loch Lomand and The Bard's Song, which are a part of Dan's side project with childhood friend and bandmate, Gabriel Belozi, called Spyglass Inn. It's an acoustic folk project, that's far removed from Dan's symphonic metal band, Fearless. Fearless is comprised of Dan (vocals) Gabriel (guitars) Davi Vasc (bass guitar and Dan's younger brother) and Giovanni Rezende (drums). Dan has classical training and he can sing pretty much any genre of music you can imagine, but his passion is symphonic metal and that's why he refers to himself as a "metal singer". Fearless put out an album in 2019 called "Chronicles Of Ancient Wisdom". My favorite song on the album is "Tale With No End". You can find both Fearless and Spyglass Inn selections on Dan's main channel or his website. Some of Dan's covers are metal versions and some are not. To be honest, you never know what to expect from his covers or his original music. The one thing that's clear, is that he excels at pretty much everything that he sets his mind and heart to. He's a "phenom", really. Thanks for the reaction.

Interesting Layman that you found this song by this guy as I requested this song by LIFE IN 3D about 2 or three weeks ago, before memorial day, they had requested photos of veterans and showed a ton of them as they sang the song as a memorial......... then this shows up ???? LIFE IN 3D has a much better more meaningful version !!!

@@AitchBee01 LIFE IN 3D is a sibling group, Older Brother, sister, and younger brother that sing because it is fun and they are good, just starting out, most their songs are either duets or trio singing Harmony, an occasional solo like most of "The Last Good Bye. the girl Daura can hold her own with both her brothers, she has some range and power and always that huge smile.

This is very meaningful to Dan and all his fans. I am moved to tears every time I watch this. Dan’s father passed away from cancer just before he released this. He has shared with us how much he loved his father. How they would travel together in the car listening to opera. How much his father loved listening to Elvis sing. His father’s favorite Elvis song was An American Trilogy. Dan sings a beautiful version of that as a tribute to his father. The tears in that song and this one are real. He has said the final farewell to his beloved father.

Just checked Dan channel ,his songs from the oldest and looks like he did this cover not so long after American Trilogy, which he did in loving memory of his father. For me it’s nothing more meaningful than expression of his feelings in this cover and what it means to him.I know this song is from the movie, but I think for Dan means something more. All the best.😊
