This was a fun movie that wasn't trying to take itself too serious. If you're for whatever reason expecting a cinematic masterpiece, sure, you'll be disappointed. With proper expectations, it's a treat to watch.

Its realistic for people his age now...

Worthwhile watch. JG played the role really well. Overlaps with the original were peppered throughout, but not heavy handed, which I appreciated. It stood on its own.

That was a creative way to get them all outside anyway.

The original was one of a kind. Patrick Swazy was an excellent actor who gave us some great films.

Original Road House will forever be the best. However this remake isn't bad at all.

Jake has to be one of the best actors for being able to not only get into shape like this, but to be able to fluctuate his look based on what the role needs. Fat Jake? got it, annorexic jake? Got that too. Buff ass kick everyone's face in Jake? Yep.

I like how everyone is immediately out of commission once they are punched because of the concussions. Well, maybe not.

This was a great movie! No capes, no superpowers just messed up people with plausible problems.👍

its great how they kept the core of the original concepts intact.

I enjoyed the movie for what it was. It was a mixed bag. This fight scene, for example, was good and well done. The movie was better than a lot of stuff out there.

This was one of my favorites with Patrick Swayze & Sam Elliott.

Unlike Hunger Games where the camera is zoomed in close and the operator just shakes the camera violently. This clip has made me want to watch it.

Great movie all around, packed with action and fun. Everyone wants an Inception level of complexity in every movie instead of enjoying simple entertainment JG and Connor were awesome.

It looks brilliant!!!

They really should have made this it's own movie and left Roadhouse alone. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be and I actually enjoyed the movie as a whole but it's not even in the same league as the Original

I think people need to stop comparing it to the original. IDK about you but I knew it would never be even close to the original. Still Gyllenhaal rocked in this movie. I have seen much worse that is for sure.

Totally agree. The climax ended in a fart. The plot really took a shit by the third act. When he walked away from Knox and Knox just basically let him walk away. But then Knox is hell bent on tracking down Dalton in the next act..literally made no sense to me. I was like wtf. Idk who wrote that part. But it was terrible. And then the main chick he rescues. Basically just dips out on him after he saves her ass. The whole 3rd act I was like wtf. None of this makes sense.

I really enjoyed this remake of the original movie. It had some great humour in it, particularly in this scene. Before we start, do you have insurance, like dental. Then, How far is the nearest hospital?

Now I understand why he said it wasn't fair, they needed more people helping

I actually thought I wasn’t going to like the movie but it was fun to watch and a bit of a laugh it was different and I hope there’s a sequel

And then he drives them to the hospital, and tells the nurse what injury each one has!

Nice to see that ez Reyes not only survived getting stabbed in Cali, but also is now living in Florida.

Jake would make a good Batman. 👍

It was a pretty good movie. For a reimagining, not a remake, it was pretty good.

I've watched 2 or 3 clips so far, my understanding of the music concept is to find the worst music imaginable and fight scenes make things so dark you have no clue what's happening. Seems like solid concepts

I feel as if my comics are even devalued by the movies. There was something about Peter and Spider-Man that set them apart for me and others as kids. As Peter with just a frown you could feel his pain. As the spider the man emerged and set things straight. I think Jake had that. ✌🏾

Started out good, went down hill when Connor the cartoon character showed up, got bad when the guys who filmed/edited the final fight scenes were high as f*ck. Had some potential, turned it into a pooch, and screwed it hard.
