This is one where the diverse and inclusive reboot could have worked. After the passing of his father, Khabib "the Eagle" Nurmagomedov takes a job at a rough-and-tumble roadhouse in the Florida Keys. Naturally he would ban the sale of alcohol and begin playing the Islamic call to prayer on the PA. He'd probably straighten the place right out. edit: He could remove any smutty books from the local bookstore while he was at it.

Dalton walks away not because he's scared, it's because the 'thing that's wrong with him'- as Knox says, is that he ends up killing people if pushed too far and he doesn't want that anymore. If you watch the film though, Dalton does end up getting pushed over that edge eventually. This film was okay, but you can't quite beat the original.

HE WALKED AWAY BECAUSE THEY WERE HOLDING HIM,AND THRASHING HIM,took the power out of him quickly,one on one ,he'd of smashed the loud mouth,can't stand conor he's a thug,probably in life he's something else,knowing when to walk away is damn smart,always continue later,worked for the movie anyway

@@eradicatedpulse6896 no it doesn't, it looks like what people in the 80's thought looked "tough" The choreography was horrible, and they had to keep covering up half the fight with bad filmography. You keep seeing close ups of guys grunting, with kicks and punches so slow, you have to watch it on 1.5x to make it look decent.

The old man with the Maraka’s is like “the ain’t ruining my groove no matter what…….i remember my days in ZZ Top!”

The original was received in the same way, I’m from Down in the Keys and it did a great thing for the islands, Hurricane Destroyed the Chain of islands-and this was a Great Help. Thanks Jake and Connor give me and the cast of locals a lot more than just a Beat up flick..

I really like Jake Gyllenhall as an actor. But damn, this movie is horrendous.

I learned growing up in the honey tonks in the hills of Tennessee that when the bar brawl starts, put your back to a wall and put a chair in front of you with both hands on the back of the chair, ready to swing it.

This reminds me of the remake of Death Wish, Bruce Willis is great, but when I saw the remake I kept thinking John McLain from Die Hard changed jobs and became a Doctor. Charles Bronson was Paul Kersey and Patrick Swayze is Dalton. Some remakes are okay, most can't cut it.

I watched this movie, with a friend of mine. He was having knee surgery, doctor told him. How long it would take to heal, then all of a sudden. He stood up, walked over to tv. Turned it off, the doctor asked him. Why he did that, he felt obligated. To stop us from watching it, he made a full recovery.

Wow, I didn't even recognize McGregor. He blew up since the last time I saw him in the ring.
