When I watch this episode, I realize what a great actor Jim Davis was, he made Jock Ewing stand out for me! His acting was outstanding! Clayton Farlow played by the great Howard Keel was an ok substitute, but the cast was spot on for Jock with Jim Davis, shame he died so soon into the show.

As time goes by, I realize more and more how amazing Jim Davis was on Dallas. Jock Ewing was the role that he was born to play. Dallas was truly great during those first several years and Davis was a big part of the reason.

This Barnes - Ewing feud has been going on since the 1930's when they were much younger and Digger lost all of the winnings by giving it to hookers as you can see in: "DALLAS: The Early Years." Please stay inside during this quarentine as much as possible. ©® April 09, 2021 @ 2:05 am ©®

With money comes power. With power comes influence. Personally, if I were the DA I would force Cliff Barnes to recuse himself. There is no way that he could not be unbiased, not given his history with the Ewing family and Ewing oil.
