Say what you want about Cyclops but he knows how to get results. He seems harsh but he's totally right. Her enemies wont stop just because she asks. He is giving her the tools she needs to protect herself.

It's the X-Men Evolution of the 2010s.

That's why he is a formidable leader. The old animated series did not do his character justice and the movies depiction of him were weak.

Really digging the anime makeovers they gave them, really suits everyone. Not sure how I haven't heard of this before

Scott had a point that the people who try to hurt her would not stop even if she asked. She had to be ready for anything more so that someone may try to kill her. He may come off as an ass but he knew what he had to do in order to get her to fully understand that the world isnt all sunshine and rainbows

My only problem with this particular rendition. Storm is suppose to be regal like and elegant . Here she is more sultry and dresses and acts way more provocative. A minor gripe in an otherwise great show.

Not his fault he can't. Brain damage from a plane crash in his childhood robbed him of his ability to naturally control his optic blasts before his powers even manifested. But with the help of the Professor and his visor, he's trained himself to be able to use his blasts with pinpoint precision, fluctuating their intensity, and even ricocheting them off several surfaces (not one we see often, but it happens). He may need a special tool to control his power, but it's undeniable that Scott put in the work.

You don’t know how much he CAN control his power, because wherever he is will pay if he doesn’t, his eyes aren’t just lasers, his blasts come from another dimension and are solid physical beams.

If there was a method to, Cyclops would have already trained it up. Their circumstances are just different. And, he _did_ find a way to control them, regardless. He uses the visor. If she needed a device like him, he would be the first to bring it to her.

After 1993 , this comes second but animation is first.

I have mixed feelings bout the show when I first saw it. There were alot of parts I limed but the ones i disliked were the some of the regurgitated parts of freaky monsters that took me out of it. Its been years since when it first came out so maybe if I watch it again my perspevtive may change

As cruel as it may sound, he did what he had to. If Hisako goes out in the field against someone who genuinely wants to hurt or kill her they WON’T hold back. In the comics Logan actually trained her the same way as Cyclops did here because he also knows that better than anyone

Not exactly but fairly close. Her code name is Armor, fitting as her ability allows he to create a 'suit of armor' made of psionic energy around herself. The 'armor' grants, as one might expect, incredible durability but also enhanced strength and the like. She's also been able to produce psionic blasts as well.

You know, I always thought it was stupid for cyclops to push a button on his visor. Why nit have it activated by a gesture, similar to spiders webslinging. That way he isnt beaten by a rope tied around him.

Since Cyclops can't control his power, his beams are always "On". The visor he wears keeps those beams trapped in their own vector fields. However, there is a device on the sides of his visor that allows the lenses to slide apart at varying degrees, releasing the blast almost the same way we would open a heat vent. He can rotate the device to allow a thin beam through or he can turn it all the way to completely open the visor. Some versions of the visor have digital controls that connect to his gloves so that when he clenches his fists, the visor opens a certain amount. Hope this helps.

... Danger Room is not a realistic simulation. Cyclops should have destroyed the Blackbird with his first blast, it went right into one of the engines.

If Scott was actually trying to kill her he would of killed her. He was intentionally missing and shooting close. She was never in danger. He didn't start shooting he directly until her powers kicked in.
