One of the few adaptations that treated Cyclops with respect. They even made sure to show his Captain America-esque ricochet shots, his Daredevil-esque fighting skills, and especially what happens when he REALLY cuts loose

@@OpticalSorcerer EXACTLY! I _hate_ what they did to him there, and the others! Hands down, _Evolution_ is the best show for Cyclops. Not to mention had a much better love triangle, even if it could be tiring

@@autobotjedi3457 Everyone praises WATXM, but the only good thing about it (to me) was the concept of preventing disasters. It's treatment of characters and their relationships outside of Wolverine was done poorly. Plus the Phoenix Arc was shoehorned in... I've already posted paragraphs with my issue of the show on another video, but XME was much better--though I wish they had individual costumes like the 90s series, rather than group uniforms.

Characters aside from Wolverine were butchered in WATXM (and even he came off damaged), and I am upset by how few people recognize and criticize it for its obvious faults. By the way, what other video did you leave a review under regarding WATXM and XME? I would like to see it. And yeah, I see where you're coming from in regards to costumes. Granted, I have a soft spot for the standard uniform, but I really miss the outfits that made them "pop" in the comics - except Wolverine. I'm sorry if you like the original suit he had, but I will defend his black and orange costume til the day I die, and will personally never understand why blue and canary yellow were chosen for _the_ Wolverine. Wrap-around glasses sounds more secure.

Now this was animated Cyclops in his prime. A mostly calm, snarky, and friendly focused leader who cares about his teammates and knows how to get himself out of a jam with or without his powers. Every other version has been an absolute disappointment compared to this.

I remember loving seeing him turn the tables on Mystique in the basement. After a whole episode of her giving him the run around and trying to toy with him, he turns the tables and puts her on the backfoot, using his limitations to his advantage.

Gentle reminder that Cyclop's blasts are made of concussive force and not heat/laser or anything like that. So that football player at the beginning is *probably* not dead. *Probably*.

His optic blasts sounds like a dolphin in this series so funny

This cyclops inspires me to be a better leader in my environments, not kidding. The guy is competent and charismatic as hell, and has a great heart above all. I'm really fascinated by this version!

I loved his voice in this show. RIP to the voice actor.

This show, while not as memorable as XMen the animated series has a voice cast and lots of gripping stories

Havok should have circular patterns in his blasts. It’s his signature characteristic of his mutation. I am not sure why the animators did not consider that.

RIP Kirby Morrow. This cartoon was my introduction to the team. My late cousin, and I used to love watching it.

I miss old school Cyclops where when he's angry and takes of his visor and he would unleashed a huge Beam like a Kamehameha. Nowadays it's just a puny beam with or without the visor.

@@lightknight6749 I'm fully aware that it's his natural power but when they say the word POWERS with an 'S', i was expecting more than just one power the likes of Superman who has got a laser beam/heat vision, x-ray vision, heightened sense of hearing, he can fly, he can bend a heavy metal with his super strength, he can blow an enormous gust of air, he can lift a heavy object such as an airplane or a mountain, he can turbo rotate like a tornado.

To me Idk why bunch of idiots think I'm him? They always incorrect.

A los más jóvenes obviamente les valió un pepino. Pero a los q habíamos visto a los originales, nos dolió como si a Batman un día lo pusieran como un inepto debilucho, y a Robin le dieran todo el protagonismo.
