TheGenoxis Such a shame like first movie I understood but time passed where she should’ve been doing more. Like for X-Men Evolution and even Wolverine and the X-Men to have a rogue where she didn’t have strength or flight and still be a capable person is just sad and I don’t blame Anna I blame the directors and writers for acting like they didn’t know what to with her and Rogue is such a good character that it makes no sense how they did her. Maybe one day we’ll see Rogue in her prime

This was absolutely the best version of Rogue I had ever seen. Uses her main powers more often and offensively. Her character felt more developed and relatable. And best of all, this version shows exactly why she’s a force to be reckoned with, and even showed more of her potential. She was easily one of the most important characters on the show. More important than Cyclops, Jean Grey, and many others.

That's cuz rogue has the potential to be to powerful and outshine everyone else. In the movies before when they way trying to push wolverine as the face of the franchise they didn't want rouge to outshine him. But now with the hole feminist movement thing there trying to push. There best change to push a female lead and make it believable is to redo rogue and do her right this time. That's what I'm hoping there going to do rogue had always been my favorite X-Men and if there going to force feed me a feminist agenda I'd rather it be rogue there trying to force down my throat.

Mr NOTME For me X-Men evolution is the best because it went a different route and then most of the other X-Men universes together. She had a crush on Scott and I loved that. From what I have read The director actually was going to have Scott and Rogue end up together in season six but season six sadly never happened.

This is actually my favorite version of Rogue. This show did her justice as far as her character and powers were concerned in my book.

I love how every time Rogue absorbs/manifests Storm's powers, it's always an OH SHIT moment. Storm's powers are extreme, even moreso when you don't have control of it.

This is possibly my favorite version of Rogue to date. Her looks, attitude, abilities, they all work together so well. I'm not usually into goths but Rogue is an exception. She is my #1 favorite girl from this show, with Wanda (Scarlet Witch) being 2nd. :)

I will never ever ever get over the fact that they basically screwed over Rogue (and Gambit) in the film versions. And it's not like they're B-side characters that people easily forget about...they're fan favorites, both as individuals and as a couple! It is very strange that in 20 years of X-Men movies, we have never so much as seen Rogue and Gambit onscreen together. They're easily one of the most popular couples in all of the Marvel Universe. Just goes to show the lack of respect Fox had for the source material. Oh, well. Now that Marvel owns the rights again, maybe we will finally see them in live action.

Here's something funny I noticed. In the animated series where Rogue is already super strong, she almost never uses her absorbing abilities, relying on brute force and durability. In this show however, Rogue doesn't have any super powers, so she's relying in her absorbing ability. (And she's actually a force to be recon with, maybe even bigger than her super strong counterpart, I mean, she at one point became a one-mutant army, possesing powers of most powerful mutans at once. I mean, it is kind of badass and terryfying.)

Yeah. That's what annoyed me about the 90s version. Super strength and flight is the most bland and uninteresting powerset ever. I found her actual power much more interesting, maybe even the most interesting out of all the team. That's part of why evolution is my favorite version.

@@jaylan7847 Evolution certainly have it's pros. One of them is Jean. In the animated series her powers and combat abilities are quite underwhelming. Her shields are easy to break and her levitating muscle is only 1/8 of Rogue's strength. In evolution Jean is on the same level like the others. I would even say that she has become one of the strongest members ever since her powers increased (which was cool since attaining it come with cool scenes where she wreck entire school).

That wasn't her power. She stole it from Ms Marvel when she was still under Mystique's thumb. Rogue did that to Carol as a teenager and Carol had been in a coma for *years* after it.

My favorite part of this arc is 14:29 when Toad says “I hate this part”. I haven’t made an official count but I’m pretty sure that Toad has the largest count of experiencing Rogue’s power.

This rogue is just perfect with her powers and her not trusting the X-Men right away made so much sense it was just amazing and omg the episode with her getting all the memories of everyone she absorbed stuck in her head this rogue went through so much! I'm proud of her thanks for making my childhood!

The episode where Rogue loses control is when I realized how truly terrifying she could be. Just imagine if, alongside Multiple and Mystique’s powers, she also used everyone’s else, especially from big hitters like Storm, Juggernaut and Magneto. She could easily create an entire army of extremely powerful mutants.

The reason why rogue is my favorite X-man is because one she is incredibly powerful and has a really cool ability, but the main part is because she has a weak more realistic side to her, and she doesn’t just have overwhelming power that she uses carelessly because ever time she uses them she gives a part of herself, but despite having such a stressful power she still willingly uses it to help people

What's good about her is that she has excellent backstory, characteristics, and her OP abilities is held back by her power drawbacks

This is why i love xmen evolution! They really knew how to utilize the characters and their true abilities. They also showed how they got better over time gradually. Criminally underrated series!

My favorite version of Rogue. Her being made goth is so hot

She didn't fly or had super strenght, but damn she was POWERFUL. I really like this version of Rogue because allowed to show her true powers in a very versatile way. She was the highlight of XMen Evolution

The way this show had Apocalypse revive himself by taking control of Rogue to steal everyone's powers so he could then steal the powers from Rogue was very clever and so much better than the crappy live action movie.

@ÆGON THE GAMER You don't even make sense. Hope Summers as Phoenix brought mutants back and they regained her their abilities back. Rouge can take Scarlet powers and can drain all her life force out. Meaning she can take Scarelt memories, thought and her life away with one touch. Rouge killed Apocalypse by doing it and took his powers and his magic.

@ÆGON THE GAMER Scarlet didn't defeat the Phoenix. Scarlet said she needed Hope permission to do the spell. But the Phoenix can still come back anytime so Scarlet spell wont work on the Phoenix. Hope agreed and did the spell with Scarlet. Yes Rouge can asorb Scarlet magic. She already did it before.

@ÆGON THE GAMER Why don't you go read the comics. Scarlet only faced tiny fragments of the Phoenix focre. Those tiny fragments are not full force nor compares to Jeam as Phoenix. Scarlet fans are so quick to say Scarlet defeated Phoenix force, which she did not and couldn't do the spell without the Phoenix host permission. Even if she does do the spell it wont work on the Phoenix. That why Hope as Phoenix was able bring back mutants. Rouge has already asorb Scarlet powers including her magic. As I said the writers used an excuse that Rouge doesnt have imagination to use magic, which is stupid. Now all sudenlly she has Apocalypse magic and his powers after killing him. The current Rouge has gotten stronger now compared to her previous versions. Rouge even killed Scarlet before. Scarlet lucky Rouge forgaved her.

The only episode that use the most voice actors of all the time

You know what's amazing about X-Men evolution? I care about and like every single main character in the show. They are all amazing!

I love how, technically, every person Rogue stole from is sort of... "storaged" inside of her, as we see in the episode where she has a meltdown and accidently touches Mystique in disguise. Specially the mutants, which means that, if she was able to properly control her mind, she could use any power of any mutant she's ever touched.

Rogue is the most badass character and has humanity at the same time..she is a unique combination of character in this series..

Rogue is amazing.

X-men evolutions Rogue was my favorite version of the character. The 90s version has an iconic aesthetic, but they never used her actual powers like this one. Super strength and flight is the most bland and uninteresting powerset ever. I found her actual powers much more interesting, maybe even the most out of the team. It also did a better job of delving into her character and what someone like her would really be like.

She is just really amazing. Being able to take peoples powers and immediately using them with out training or anything is quite the skill. She is such a big part of X-men and they really sold her short in the movies. She was such a relatable under dog. She wasn’t the typical Jean Grey girly girl that is conventionally attractive is smart has good powers AND gets the guy. She couldn’t come in physical contact with ANYONE! Do you know how alone she must feel. And then forget Jean where she only hears everyone’s thoughts, how about multiple people inside of you trying to take control. There memory’s switching in and out so you can barely even tell your own memory’s from theirs. I mean it was such a missed chance not put her as a main character in the live action. She is hands down my favorite marvel hero

She saves almost all the Xmen and saves herself, this is one of the reasons why I love Rogue since I was a child. ❤️

How frustrating it must be for cyclops to see her use his power with more finesse than he's ever been able to.

That control and the accumulative powers were and adaptation they did from the classic. On Classic X-men she didn't have the control, like when she absorved gambit, she kept charging everything she touched and the powers didn't 'stay inside'. On the other hand, the classic she had Carol powers of Strengh and Flight, so it was a good diference of character

Word of advice when it comes to Rogue: "LOOK, BUT DON'T TOUCH"

This is my family favorite Rogue. They really need to continue this series.

She is my favorite. I think x-men evolution is the only version that did her justice

Carl Lafleur I agree with you they did alot of characters some justice.

I mainly watched 90's Rogue when I was a kid and thought her powers were able to fly and lift heavy things but thanks to this Rogue, I have got see Rogue's real power which is very OP and Rogue being goth just makes sense with her name, attitude and power

Rogue is seriously the most OP X-Men in any movies and TV shows!

This honestly is the best version of Rogue

I love how if she absorbs Mystique she basically becomes a better version of her. Being able to inherit both people's powers and appearance. Great on them for exploring that

From a combat stand point this has been the most interesting version of this character we've seen.

Am still waiting for Kitty Pryde. Lmao

"Self Possessed" is my favorite episode of this series! Too bad Rogue never touched Scarlet Witch w/o being controlled and use her probability powers against her.

She did in the show and used it to stop Quicksilver from running. She did it in the comics but the writers all suddenly says oh Rouge not creative enough to use Wanda powers.

Andrew Gian I hope Rogue get Captain Marvel’s powers

This is why she is my favorite X-Men female character.

Am I the ONLY one here who feels that the animation style used for this series is WAY BETTER than the one used for 'Wolverine and the X-Men', not to mention the impressive variety in uniform designs and colors?! According to website I came across some years back, Rogue's uniform color/design was based off the sin of Envy, which is kind of fitting (you know WHY)!😐

Well, her costume here was based off of one of her outfits back in the 80s IIRC.

This rogue was pretty cool. She took down all the enemies by herself 😆

This Rogue is so badass

Rouge with Magneto's powers.... was SO badass the first time watching it. I vividly remember my jaw being on the floor smiling from ear to ear watching her chase him through the air 🤧

Seriously, I loved this show then as a kid and now all grown up.🤩

My favorite character in X-Men Evolution. I was always a Wolverine and Cyclops fan since they were the ones I first recognize because of those Marvel vs Capcom games. But man, they really showed some love to the other characters in X-Men Evolution. And Rogue's no exception. Everyone had their shining moment every now and then. It's just sad they cancelled it after defeating Apocalyse. They were suppose to dive in to the Phoenix Saga arc. Wasted Opportunity.

Best Rogue. Period. She's charming, badass, and goes through a fair bit of development through the series too. Really well written character.

Rogue was my first introduction to liking goth girls.

This show was just soo good it did justice to a lot of characters We need this show or a next one to show off our favorite mutants

imagine, if rogue was a enemy of x men and she copied professor's power , it would be the end of the world. I think she is the strongest character in X men. She can copy power of strongest mutants like professor, jean, magneto, Logan.

This Rogue being goth already makes her 1000x better than movie Rogue 🥵

So she can absorb anyone's ability and then absorb Mystique's shapeshifing, and then turn into a mutant while having their ability.

I love this version of her.

Jean definitely couldn’t control dark Phoenix it was so powerful it would overwhelm her and Rogue can’t handle all the memories and powers she’s absorb

Dwayne mcCartney I know what her powers are she’s been my favorite xman since I was in middle school. I’ve read a few of her comics too just didn’t know she could use other ppl powers to their fullest potential. That’s a new one I’ve heard.

Girl, if only they portrayed Rogue like this in the movies. Anna Paquin would really nail it.
