@@jewekclashroyale Lol. I was joking. But the way I see it is: Logan: oldest brother. Jean: oldest sister. Rogue: middle sister. Scott: middle brother. Kitty: younger sister. Kurt: younger brother. Evan: younger brother. Bobby: youngest brother. Amara: youngest sister. The point is that X-Men: Evolution treated the team more like a family.

Kitty Pryde has the ability to pass through solid matter by allowing the molecules of her body to travel through the space between the molecules of whatever solid she is traveling through. In A+X she explains she used to hold her breath or she thought she had to but after the initial shock wore off, she can now phase through solid objects while breathing and talking. She can also render other people and objects intangible by touching them. When phasing through extremely dense materials, such as adamantium, Kitty experiences pain and disorientation as well as those with dense metals in their bodies ( Wolverine, X-23, etc.) should she phase through them. For some unknown reason, when Kitty phased through Garokk, it caused him intense pain. The reason for this is unclear. Kitty is capable of phasing any amount of her body through objects as well as humans leaving them unconscious. Kitty is also capable of killing another being by phasing them into a solid object and then releasing them, causing them to solidify whilst still within the object. Kitty has trained herself to reflexively assume her intangible state at any indication of danger, such as a loud noise like a gunshot, in order to protect herself. Kitty can disrupt electronic devices by passing through them in this manner without harm to herself. When she uses this ability in the opposite direction she can levitate herself by walking on air, as if she were walking up a flight of stairs. In her intangible state she is weak against certain energies, psionic and mystical attacks. While in phase form Kitty has demonstrated a remarkable resistance to psychic probing and psionic attacks, but she can be hurt by the Soul Sword and remains vulnerable to magic-based attacks. As guided by the Doc Green persona of the Hulk, she has been shown to be able to use her phasing abilities to perform surgery, essentially phasing cancerous growths out of people's bodies. According to the book "The Science of the X-Men", one theory that could potentially explain Kitty Pryde's power of intangibility is that of "spintronics". This theory is based on electrostatic repulsion, which is the force that keeps subatomic objects from passing through one another. Electrons naturally repel each other and instead of positive or negative charge, electrons have what is called "spin", which is based on a random pattern of up and down. If Kitty can rearrange her molecules into an organized manner so that they are "polarized" with the objects she is trying to pass through then she can pull her molecules through objects (like a molecular magnet) by controlling the spin on all of the particles in her body. By reversing the polarity on air, she can then air walk by making the air around her much harder. This also explains why she disrupts electronic systems since she basically polarizes the spin of electrons in objects she passes through and drastically changes the conducting forces in circuitry. She's a powerful mutant to be honest and it's a shame that we didn't see much of her besides from the earlier X-men movies.

How It Should Have Ended: The X-Men are approaching the train. Kitty: I'm on it! At that moment Tobey Maguire shows up and he gets in front of the train. Tobey: Oh My God! Oh My God!! Oh My God!!! Kids are coming towards the train!!! They are certainly gonna die!!! I must do something about that!!! He then stops the train with the exact same way he did on Spider-Man 2 and it actually stops exactly near of the car. Tobey: Is everybody all right? Kitty irritantingly: Shut up, you show-offer!

not even close. she was one of the most useful characters in x men evolution, she had 3 or 4 episodes for herself, focusing on her character development, and most important: they kept her personality from the comics (something that fox movies couldn't do)

Her powers is so dangerous imagine Kitty will rip the organs inside the body of her enemy.

faiz Ts Everyone’s underrated in the films except for Logan. I mean I love Logan I really do but honestly they gave him way too much screen time. I’m kind of over the films now because now that I’m an adult they really bastardized my favorite character Rogue.

@@MohdFaiz-wg3di they overrated him!? what they did is not overrated it's pure insanity lmao! they made cyclops bad only for logan to shine. he was in every single movie except dark phoenix and people complain when he is not in one. he has three solo movies. everytime he was in a movie, he was on screen the entire time and carried the storyline on himself.. and they, in so much time, couldn't even bother to get him martial arts experience (he's the seventh best martial artist in the entire universe). And they ruined old man logan so much i cried, not because he died but because how weird it was. sorry that this is so long and random i just needed to say it once. but it's not overrated anymore it's beyond ovverated.

9:22 the scene with the train reminds me that time in the comics What Kitty was to phase the bullet aiming to Earth, phasing all though the Earth, according to recent comic when Kitty freed Wolverines for adamantium that covers around the outside of his body, it was explained that order to perfectly free Logan from his “adamantium coffin” she was to concentrate every thing of his body making sure that it won’t rip off part of his body.

Fun fact: The scene of her and Rogue dancing together was directly animated from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where Buffy and Faith are dancing. You can see it in the season 3 intro. Love both shows ❤

SHE WAS MY FAVORITE

Its a little thing, and with cartoon and animation in general it is really hard to scale this. But I love how this show attempted to depict the evolution (pun intended) of their powers. Characters like Shadow Cat and Jean Grey start out phasing through walls and lifting chairs... and by the end of it Kitty can phase an entire airplane through a mountain or phase a train past an oncoming train - and Jean of course is extremely powerful. In Xmen TAS the powers are sort of all over the place (storm uses her powers to put her costume on, Wolverine's healing power is there sometimes and not there other times). But this show I thought scaled up the abilities periodically as the show went on.

One reason it was called "Evolution" was because it was about growth. Growth of their powers and growth of their characters. This was a character driven show, whereas the 90s one was more plot driven.

Legit forgot how much I loved this series. The animation was incredible for a western action cartoon. Weird observation: All the female main characters (Kitty, Rogue, Jean) all had bare midriff outfits. I don't recall that style being popular in the early 2000s....

If I recall most shows typically do the previous fashion trend rather than contemporary. So its not odd they'd do more 90s trends.

She's one of my favorite female Marvel characters in this Cartoon series, for how she uses her phase through solid objects powers mostly as she's in her X Men suit.

I read xmen gold (the new ones) wherein kitty was a field leader, her martial arts with phasing is really scary. She literally phase objects to her enemies, leave them phased to a wall or phased together. There was a scene she was pissed that she went ahead and took out her katana before proceeding to her enemy (she's gonna go all ninja) . Plus she has the dragon lockheed that breathes fire and her genius level intellect that her enemies don't know, she is always being underestimated only for her enemies to find out what she is capable of a little too late.

But with abilities like that, I've seen characters with the same exact abilities as her or just one and using them to their fullest with creativity, pretty much becoming too much. Like comparing The Flash and Dr Zoom, Flash knows just more about the speed force and does different or better tricks that he made on his own by judt being creative. She could be so much, too bad its Marvel filled with cliches and niches

X-Men Evolution introduced me to Kitty Tbh I grew up watching X-Men the Animated Series prior and sadly Kitty never appeared on the show and I read a few of my cousin’s X-Men comics in the late 90’s when I was a kid and at the time Kitty rejoined the X-Men along with Nightcrawler and Colossus, and I would ask my cousin “who’s this chick?” because I didn’t recognize her from the 90’s X-Men cartoon haha Looking back now I feel they could have included Kitty in the 90’s cartoon. They could have done one episode about her being a former member of the X-Men who had gone away for college. The episode would include Wolverine, Storm and Jubilee.
