I don't think they were worried about being pretty on the field. Function over form when it comes to team uniforms. But there probably have been better X-Men outfits for here to be honest.

Two good powers , one of the dumbest combos

Sad part is Kitty never really scratched the surface of her powers. With training, she can harden herself as well as phase, basically making her strong and virtually invulnerable to damage.

This kitty has claws.

Big problem I had with this show was they made Forge seem like a weird dude bro. Into the smart very competent member of the team He's sort of comes off his comic relief in this. Forge is an accomplished athlete and trained soldier. Expertise in many areas of science and technology, extensive knowledge of Native American magic. He's a Vietnam vet. But his main mutant power is a superhuman intuitive talent for inventing mechanical devices. His mutant ability functions as perception, as he possesses the ability to visually perceive "mechanical energy" (the kinetic energy and potential energy present in the components of mechanical systems) in action. This power allows Forge to instinctively know and understand the potential and functional operations of any machine or technological device in his visual range, a skill that, combined with his natural intelligence, allows him to conceive, design, and build mechanical devices; and operate, modify, and disassemble existing technology or create countermeasures for it. Forge's superhuman talent does not mean that he is a greater inventor than geniuses such as Reed Richards, Victor von Doom, or Anthony Stark, none of whom owe their talent for invention to mutation. But even a genius at invention must, for the most part, consciously work out the theoretical principles behind the invention and then design the invention itself through a series of logical steps. In Forge's case, however, many of these logical steps would be worked out by his subconscious mind. Hence, Forge himself might not be entirely aware of exactly how he figured out how to create an invention of his; he often has to take apart his own inventions to see how they work. He has created fantastic futuristic devices including cybernetic systems, sophisticated holograms, and elaborate computer and fiber-optic systems.

@@infernopyre just take this short piece of my story and you’ll see. Shadowcat facing 5 goons. The first two that she had taken down first began to recover on their feet. Kitty, with her mutant powers of intangibility, sank into the ground as if she was sinking in quicksand. The two got up, both being face to face with one another. Kitty rose from the ground in between them; she was in front of one and the other was right behind her. She grabbed the shirt collar of the goon in her front and rushed backwards; pulling him along with her. As she did this, she quickly let go and phased through the man behind her, knocking the man she initially held by the collar, right into the face of the one who was previously just behind her. One was now knocked out cold. As the goon turned around to attack her, Kitty quickly grabbed this one by the collar and proceeded to perform a trust fall. As soon as she was just about to touch the floor during the trust fall while dragging the goon down with her, she phased through the ground; letting him go and he fell face first on the pavement, knocking him unconscious. The last two got up on their feet and wasted no time firing their weapons in random directions, hoping to get a fortunate shot.

I like her pants.

Imagine Kitty had madame rogue's powers for a second power. I like to see her to use them on the brotherhood in Xmen Evolution and have her do what madame Rogue did to those three guys in homecoming part 2 to the brotherhood.
