Cutting Roots with New Auger System, The Augie Pro

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, Tom shows how the Augie Pro System can easily cut through roots. It's designed to not destroy the root or cable immediately to you can find and identify what it is. If you want to cut it though, keep using the tool and it will make easy work of it.
The Augie Pro System is designed to be used to remove dirt around sprinkler heads, but it can easily be used to dig any type of hole in the yard, no matter what it's for. Leave the shovel or post hole digger alone, and just grab your drill and the Augie Pro System.

That’s a great way to rip tendons in your wrist m8. Don’t ever use a root cutter auger without a side handle on your drill… your auger might be good at cutting roots , but torque is torque and sudden torque transferred to your wrists doing exactly this will f you up, sometimes permanently .

The Augie pro is for changing out sprinkler heads. We were answering a question Can it cut small roots? The way it’s designed you will know you hit something like another sprinkler line or a root. The bit will jump up.

At one time we did. The cost of shipping cost more then the extension. So to save you money it’s better to buy the extension from any hardware store. They come in 12” and 18”

@@Kizen_Enterprise I just started a deck project for my mother, and I've got 14 post holes. I've hit a 3" inch thick tree root on every hole, and I'm just thinking there's got to be a better way.

@@sandite26 my Auger would do great for removing the dirt till you hit that 3 inch route. Next switch to a hole saw to cut the root. If it not that deep use a Sawzall
