Because you yourself already know exactly how you want your bangs to look. You have the picture in your head. The hairdresser has no clue. So they kinda just cut how they “think” you want it from your description. But never seem to get it just right. I haven’t gotten my hair cut at a salon in probably about 10 years. I trim it myself. I don’t want them cutting a shit ton of my hair off. I’ve actually been thinking of getting bangs again. But I’ll do it myself 😁

She cut hers exactly like I've been cutting mine and my daughters for years. Why don't stylists take as much time as she did on the most important part of a haircut? What frames your face. Also, cut them dry!

To all those contemplating cutting their own bangs: DO IT! I had bangs all through middle and high school, but I grew them out because I heard so many times that only "certain people" can "pull them off" and that they don't look "mature". Lemme tell you: ANYONE CAN HAVE BANGS!!! And if you like them, then that's all that matters. Who cares about if it "suits" you or not. If you want bangs, cut your bangs. I cut mine two days ago after watching this video and I like them! I cut off a ton of damage from bleach and I can clip them up easily and hairspray them. Also, it's just hair. And you only have one life on earth. And this is the best time to experiment.😉

I agree with you, hair stylists DO NOT know to cut bangs AT ALL!!! I cut bangs better than they do. I have get to find someone who cuts bangs, no luck, just do it myself. You did a great job, very pretty

Your hair is so pretty with bangs. I love having bangs. I tried to go without bangs for a while after my husband wanted me to grow them out, but it took soooo long to style my waves and I looked wired without bangs to cover my hairline and forehead (square face shape) I've been told I look younger with bangs. Plus it's easier for me to wash and go with curly bangs. I didn't feel as attractive without bangs because of my hairline and forehead. You're beautiful either way since you have a nice and forehead.
