Okay. So, i watched this video. I immediatly wanted the bangs. I grabbed my daughters scissors, ran into the bathroom and did it. And you know what: i have to go to the salon tomorrow 😂 i LOVE how the bangs came out, i look freaking adorable at the front. But my few-month-old-boring-classic-bob rest of my hair looks so boring and not fresh now, i have to get a new (shaggy) cut tomorrow. With my lovely bangs. Did i already mention that i looooove them?!😂 So thanks for that tutorial.

@@selectiveoutrage6617 i have no idea what the name is for my haircut now🤔 my hairdresser kept my length (between chin and neck) because i want to let it grow longer (like maybe shoulderlength or a little longer) and gave the cut layers, starting at ear height. Now the bangs blend in quite good and i like the outcome ☺️

Oh wow. Wife here again. I commented how much I liked it before I knew you were going to style it too!! This cut looks great both ways. Before styling like for a hike or beach or even just on the couch watching a movie! Then it looked super nice after you styled & versatile because it could be dressy or casual. Very cool.

Those look so good on you. This is exactly what I am wanting to do and I have a natural curl that is a little more dramatic that a wave but not quite "curly". I'm sure if i did the "curly girl method" then I'd have some serious curl, though.

Yes, I just tried this and I love it. You’re right you have to give your hair at least a week to fiddle with the bangs. Otherwise it’s so easy to style love the quickness of being able to put it up and still have some face framing layers around the face. Thank you for the video. It was really cool.

Rather than continuous point cutting with a regular bladed shears what I do is the Sam Villa method of just using texturizing/thinning shears right off the bat to simultaneously cut out the length and texturize the ends at the same time without too much effort and it also saves time cuz you only need a thinning shears. But if and only if you don't have a thinning shears and find it inconvenient to buy one just use the cut by overdirecting on the opposite side method. That way it gives you more of a curtain bangs effect rather than twising which can make it look very lopsided or very asymmetrical.

Thank you! You look great. Looks pro...oh, yeah, it IS pro! But I can still do it. I cut mine like Jim Carrey 2 weeks ago and my husband calls me Prince Valiant until they grow back, so this is very helpful, lol! (that is my hubs in the profile photo btw)

I want this exact haircut but with the length that I have now and to have enough hair to have a nice full fringe and even maybe curl the bangs a little to add a tiny wave in them too. I’m obsessed ugh

Stumbled on this channel. I think your hair is really cute. Very attractive

It's also easy to just use the parts as you did and comb the section up cymetrcal. Cut across. Once the hair drops the weight comes off and its automatically textured. I'm a hairdresser for 50 yrs. This is how I teach my clients for trimming in-between haircuts.

@user-wi8fr9ee7u You can lift the middle part of the bangs straight up and cut, then angle the sides straight up and cut. Do the same for the other side. You don't have to point cut if you don't want to, but you can. Either way it will come out good. Remember the head is round so when you cut straight up the bangs will be longer but lighter at the same time because they will drop gradually taking the weight off, which will look nice and not heavy.

Curls are always fun, but your hair looked awesome just before you hit it with the iron! ;)

I really want this hair cut but the har in the front sides has always been thin and short and goes wherever it wants so bangs were never for me.. I wish someone had a solution for me.. I love this!

I'm a retired Cosmetologist from 80s, when it was all about big hair! lol We did a lot of razor cuts back then too. Anyway.... when I used the thining shears on my bangs a few years ago, I had a gap/chunk gone, and will never do that again! 😅 We only did a little of point cutting and it makes me nervous to do on myself, with my bangs. I have baby fine hair, but thankfully lot's of density and curly. I also have found recently that my hair is thinning on top, i assume it's an age thing....I just turned 61 last month. Now here's my questions for you! lol Anything I can do to make my hair fuller on top? And even though I look much younger than my age....I've always had hair past my shoulders but usually somewhat layered. Now its past mid back, with a few layers towards the ends and layered, tapered bangs. Ok? 😅 I notice that most of my friends have been shortening their hair to the longest of ot being past their shoulders. And makes me wonder, which would make me look more youthful??? Sorry for the novel...lol

I'd love to have bangs but it seems like you always have hair sticking into your eyes and you constantly have to move them away. I'd be soo annoyed by it :(

You just have to nip a tiny bit off of the bottom edges every 3-4 weeks and the stay close to the original bang cut. I find that the area between my eyebrow arches need the most trimming. Then blend that to the rest of the bang. It can be done with manicure scissors even. I did this last night. 😊
